I had a really great experience with East Coast HVAC. First, the quote appointment with Josh Davis was so professional and thorough. It actually scared me because it was so professional (compared to other companies who had given us quotes) that I figured this HAD to be the priciest service. Turns out it was 2,000 less than our other quote! Great value!

And then Matt Loomer was there during install day as the electrician and went above and beyond to fix our outdoors outlet that was broken. The outlet was actually a safety hazard and we had no idea. Wow. Talk about great service and would 100% use them again. Recommend highly to everyone!

Matt and his apprentice came ready to work. They were knowledgeable and efficient. Had to do some problem solving on my older home, but undeterred they made sure I was up to code. I used the companies electrical service, they changed my outdated outside lighting to 3 very nice new lights. Thank you

Matt came over on time and prepared to get to work immediately. There were some random odds and ends electric work that I needed to get taken care of moving a box up behind the tv, swapping out some four way switches, and changing an old 240v thermostat to a digital 240v thermostat. Matt was a great communicator and very professional. Highly recommend for any electric needs.

Our repair guy was very down to earth and spoke in normal terms that were easy to understand. He helped us promptly and explained the reason for everything. Matt is the electrician at East Coast Heating & Air and did a superior job in fixing the electrical issue. The office staff is very helpful and service support is knowledgeable answers questions and knows where to find the answers. We have used this company to purchase and install a mini-split and repair a heating system that was installed by another company. It is very important to me to have a company that responds quickly and treats the customer fairly. We will be using them for our heating and electrical needs.

Highly recommend. Have had the pleasure of EastCoast HVAC as my one and only service center for many years and extremely happy with their professionalism, attention to the needs of the customer and making sure the job gets done no matter the time of day or day of the week. Had an emergency furnace situation on a weekend evening recently and their long time professional, knowledgeable and friendly technician Eric Sielicki come over within an hour as he was in another town up North.

He had the issue resolved within 10 minutes and wouldn't leave until he checked no less than 5 times to ensure the furnace would fire up on it's own. Having happy loyal staff is everything because it shows that they are cared for and and are treated as part of the family business with pride. Eric was very familiar with my type of furnace as he had worked on it more than four years ago.

I have been a customer of East Coast HVAC for several years. I have always been pleased with their service. My furnace has been "going" for a while now. I knew it was time to replace it recently. I'd had East Coast replace my hot water tank several years ago with an "on-demand" unit which I have been very pleased with. I didn't bother to get a second bid for my furnace/ac unit as I trust East Coast.

Last week during that nasty weather Keenan, Heath and Mike installed the new furnace and a/c units. Never a complaint as they had to keep trudging into the back yard during that awful weather. Josh arrived to clean three ductless wall units in my house. This was the first cleaning since the units were installed 1.5 years ago. Use system mostly for air conditioning but do use it for minimal heat at the beginning and end of the normal heating season. Josh did a thorough cleaning of each unit and cheerfully answered my questions about things I could also do to help keep my systems running at peak performance. Would have him come back and do it again when needed.

I was working with a different hvac company initially because they installed our mini-splits. But I found them to be rather rude, never on time, and uncommunicative. Plus, they replaced a part and said it probably wasn't going to work. WTH!? Enter East Coast. From the very first phone call, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer. service and friendliness.

And the techs arrived on time! They cleaned up after themselves! And they fixed my equipment and then cleaned it! Ben-you'll know him by his great smile-was one of my techs. He accurately diagnosed and fixed the problem. Cleaning was then done by the thorough and thoroughly charming Josh, who did a fabulous job. He cleaned the nasty mold (yeah, I should have had this done years ago) and patiently answered all my questions. Give these guys your business. They deserve it.

East Coast did a great job replacing a furnace and central AC. The installers were very efficient. I barely noticed they were there. We had Corey for out tech. He was personable, professional, and punctual. He came to inspect a heating/air unit for us, and was prepared as he had the correct size filter which needed replacing. They came on short notice and Trevor was the most professional, knowledgeable and courteous technician. He spent extra time trying to figure out the issue in an old home with not so easily found pipes etc. Highly recommended. And they did not price gouge! :

East Coast Heating & AC installed a replacement AC system at our house last year and they did a wonderful job. They just came out for the annual service a few months ago and that went fine as well. I researched and got multiple estimates for the new AC system and ECH&P was the most comprehensive and competitive so that's what we went with and are very happy we did.

Since then we have referred them to friends and family and everyone who has had them do work has been completely satisfied. I would highly recommend this company and will call on them again for any future Heating/AC needs!

Our 13 year old York AC system failed in the middle of a heat wave and East Coast Heating installed a new Rheem system and stayed 2 hours overtime to complete the job so we could have it over the weekend. The installation crew and the staff were knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

We were impressed with the fast and professional response to our inquiry for installation. The installation was smooth. Pleasant and respectful, all acted with certainty and knowledge.

The installation went very well. The personnel doing the installation were on-time, polite, professional and knew what they were doing. The units are quiet and they heat and cool as promised. We were told we would qualify for $1750 in rebates. In actuality we qualify for $750 in rebates. This cost us $1000 more than we anticipated. The company did not return my call when I left a message requesting assistance in this matter.

East Coast HVAC After 31 years, our old Crown boiler was on the way out. We had one of the East Coast HVAC teams install a PurePro Advantage natural gas-fired cast iron conventional boiler in April after talking with several companies. We'd considered one of the new high efficiency 95%AFUE wall hung combo units but decided against because of the problems we've read about on the web.

Probably could have put one in with the East Coast team of Walter House and Ryan without a hitch because their installation of our new conventional boiler seems a precision job, and we've learned through friends that installation is everything when buying a new heating system. Walter oversaw the placement, piping, and firing of this 150,000 BTU boiler and we could not be happier with his work and those of his crew.

As we mentioned to him, he and Ryan seem like ARTISTS working in PVC and copper! They take care to make the piping, valves, circulators, and wiring as compact and smoothly organized as anyone could imagine. And we have to thank Josh Davis, the sales rep, for suggesting sill venting. Had no idea that these newer conventional boilers are so efficient they don't need a chimney.

The stainless steel exhaust and the PVC intake.sill vented.saved us at least a couple of thousand dollars because we were faced with re-lining a 54-year old chimney flue that is falling in on itself. The bottom line here is that this company.which has done our yearly boiler maintenance.and their installers Walter and Ryan are absolutely top notch and there's no need to look elsewhere.

Had another company do install/charging they goofed and would not answer my calls. East Coast responded quickly, gave an estimate and scheduled the work, 100% very happy.

I was referred to East Coast by a friend who hired them to replace a furnace and air conditioner for her. I got an estimate from Josh in September and I will hire them to do my air conditioning in April or May. Their prices were very competitive and Josh was knowledgeable and very helpful making suggestions that would benefit my space. I decided to have my furnace serviced by them to get to know them a little better and Michael came out and did a great job while answering my questions while he worked.

When they offered a contest for a free whole house air cleaner I reluctantly decided to sign up and WON. When the air cleaner that I won could not be used in my particular circumstances Aaron went out of his way to find one that would work for me. When it was delivered I was happy to see Michael who serviced my furnace show up. I will be back to review in May after my air conditioner is installed. At this point they have "welcomed me to the family" and have given me respectful and quality service making me feel like I can trust them.

I really like this company. I couldn't have been happier with the furnace maintenance service I received from Corey. He did a great job and happily went over things with me. I will definitely request him in the future. The women at the office are also very pleasant and helpful with all of your questions. Highly recommend.

We had a problem last week when our AC stopped working on a very hot day. I called East Coast late on a Friday and they were able to get a technician out after hours. Doug was personable and very technically proficient and was able to get our unit up and running again. A huge shout-out to East Coast! They were fabulous! Give this kid a raise!

We have just finished the install of our On Demand Propane Water Heater. The entire team did an excellent job of keeping us informed and working with our schedule. The employees were respectful of our home and told us what they were doing and why on each step of the install. This is our second product installed by East Coast Plumbing and Heating. We offer our strongest recommendation for their service and sales.

Bill at east coast is always super friendly and extremely knowledgeable even about my old school steam boiler. They are always willing to quote work and can be there to do it when you need. I use them for servicing my boiler and also my mini split in the future. Thank you bill! Go bruins!

I recently had my furnace replaced by East Coast and while the furnace does work great(which is why I gave 3 stars) the rest of the experience left little to be desired. I called East Coast for a quote to replace our furnace after the prior company I had received an estimate from never followed through with coming out to do the job. Justin came out on a Tuesday and said he'd have the quote to me end of that week, very beginning of next week.

I waited until the following Wednesday before I called and left a message for Justin to follow up at which time I received the quote a day or two later. After weighing the different options I called a week later to schedule the replacement and was advised I needed to put a deposit down, at which time I did, 30% of the quote. While on the phone I was advised Justin would give me a call to schedule the date of replacement. 6 business days went by before I decided to call and ask if we could get the replacement scheduled.

I was transferred to Justin's voicemail and 2 days later, the receptionist, not Justin, called and gave me a date it would be replaced. Furnace went in fine, it was done in a day, the 2 workers were nice, pretty straight forward job. I received the invoice in my email and received a call from billing a day and a half later asking me to pay the remainder of my bill.

In their defense the bill does say "due upon receipt" however, with that said, if I have to consistently follow up with your company for your worker to do his job I don't think it's in the best interest of anyone to then call the client and ask for the remaining balance within 48 hours of sending out the invoice.

WASTE OF OUR TIME. We waited two weeks for our appointment to have Justin come out and provide us with an estimate for the Mitsubishi ductless A/C for our entire house, including a finished walkout basement. It has been 7 weeks and three follow up calls to both Justin and the owner, and we never received the estimate. We paid to have our carpenter on site for two hours during Justin's visit to discuss options of ceiling units vs wall or floor units, how best to run/conceal the condensation lines, and placement of the condensers outside so as not to intrude on our outdoor pool/spa/fireplace area.

The job is not an easy one, hence the reason we had a carpenter on hand. Our goal was to install a system in as unobtrusive of a way as possible so that the A/C did not look like it was an afterthought to the house, but rather was part of the original build. Justin wasted our time and money(paying the carpenter) in pretending that East Coast HVAC had the ability and experience to consider a job that entailed anything more than straightforward ductless wall units.

When he saw the scope of the project, he had the opportunity to advise us that this was outside their wheelhouse and decline the opportunity. Instead, he wasted our time. Then, neither he nor the owner had the courtesy to return our calls. This was a big job - quoted by two others as between $55,000- $80,000, and this is how we were treated. Don't waste your time with this company. There are plenty of others our there who want the work and who will return calls.

East Coast is the BEST OF THE BEST! Just can't say enuff good things about them! I would give them 10 stars if I could! We had some issues with our furnace lately, & they sent their techs over right away! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! Would never change companies ever! I have gone to East Coast H&AC since I moved to Portsmouth a few years ago. They have done everything from replace my oil tank to simply bleeding and restarting my burner. I have dealt with three different techs over the years and each one has been friendly and diligent as well as totally easygoing dealing with me hovering and being the person who asks a million questions while they work. : They actually came recommended by my oil company. I never feel like I am being taken for a ride and the prices check out great compared to others local companies. I would totally recommend these folks.

It's a cold Sunday afternoon and your pipes won't heat up. Who ya gonna call? East Coast came out on a Sunday afternoon! David Hayes was an experienced, professional and pleasant person to deal with. He fixed the problem. He made me feel that I could trust and be confident in the work he performed. I am very happy to be a client of East Coast. They are a family and locally owned business. I do not give good reviews out lightly, but these guys are reasonable and dependable. Thank you for warming up my cold home!

I was thoroughly unimpressed with the service I received from Eastcoast despite the good yelp reviews. After I spent thousands of dollars for a new boiler, they took weeks to come back to pick up my old boiler, they never came back to skim the system after installing my new boiler, and they failed to clean up after the job. To top it off they left the pressure too high and as a result my pipes were clanking and and the system wasn't operating efficiently. I am not a happy customer.

I needed to have an annual service performed. Appointment was easy to make and Eric showed on time. Fair and reasonable price paid. Would strongly recommend.

East Coast was the most reasonably priced of 3 HVAC contractors solicited for installation of an AC unit into a new home. Justin was professional, honest and courteous when scheduling a convenient time to inspect the home and provide an estimate. The installer as also friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure to test that the unit was working properly after installation and checked the temperatures in our house. Billing was easy with online invoices, and they helpfully reminded me to register my product for an extended manufacturer's warranty. If you need an HVAC contractor in the Seacoast Region of NH, East Coast is the way to go.

Great pricing and incredible service! Pete and Justin were able to meet me the morning after my initial phone call. Their quote was extremely reasonable compared to other local HVAC companies that I have done business with in the past. They were even able to schedule the work for a weekend so that my tenant's operations were not interrupted. I was extremely satisfied and impressed with East Coast's service. I would recommend to residential and commercial customers!

I've used them a couple times for cleaning my oil burner. They are great. Justin was as in communication via email with me even on the weekend when I had to change the day I needed last minute. They were accommodating to me as I have an infant and asked if they could wait until 8:30 am to come which they did.
