Two years after purchasing our new home we had a bat fly through our living room while we were eating dinner. We called the Bat Guys (perfect name!) and we were glad we did. From the first phone call I was very impressed with their knowledge of bats and the level of service they provided. They showed up for appointments on time, returned all phone calls and did everything that was listed on the quote. It was nice to experience old-world service once again! Our new Resources section includes urban wildlife articles, information on local animal control offices and more.

BatGuys is a professional Wildlife Removal company that operates in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are licensed in both states and are fully insured. BatGuys is a member of the Better Business Bureau. We provide personalized service at rates that are consistent with high-quality wildlife removal service.
In an average year we perform 95% of our animal removal and exclusion services on residential homes. Since my company's inception, I have always recognized the fact that we work for homeowners and not large corporations. As a homeowner myself, I know what it's like to hire contractors. Every year I utilize the services of electricians, plumbers, landscapers and HVAC services in my own home.
I want to thank you for removing the bats and flying squirrels from our house. I found the process very interesting and I am glad that no animals were killed. I found you guys to be very 'down to earth.' My son keeps asking me 'When is Bat Man coming back?' We commonly find that people aren't familiar with the services that we provide until they have an animal problem themselves.

I cancelled an appointment, wthinking i had the problem resolved by another company that did not charge to give me a quote. When I emailed to reschedule because it was not taken care of, Matt was extremely rude via email. Asked me why I needed them if I had talked to someone else. When your spending hundreds of dollars, a reputable company would welcome you to get other quotes and tell you why they are best. Matt was extremely unprofessional and offered poor customer service

So there I was, about to go all Al Bundy on the bat in my attic, when the voice of reason(wife) told me to get a pro. After some checking I called Matt from Batguys. Simply stated, this is a guy that know his job. He was out quickly, walked me around my home to show me where bats could/were getting inside. He calmly explained to me that my idea of multiple sweatshirts and hoodies, along with a shopvac would probably never get the job done.
About a week later, he was back and fixed all the areas of my home with sealant and bat valves. His pricing is beyond fair and he's upfront with you. If you have issues with bats, it's definitely worth your time to call Matt. Leave Al Bundy in reruns!

I can't speak to their physical services, but I can say that: 1. Their website, while a bit hard to navigate, was *tremendously* helpful for general knowledge/understanding of our situation and for one particular page about "things to check for when hiring for bat removal" (http://www.batguys.com/services/bats/consumer-info.html) 2. They communicate via email.
I prefer this to requiring phone contact. 3. I emailed them on a weekend and they got back to me promptly at 8 AM on Monday. We didn't end up hiring them only because we needed help ASAP - our bat trouble was in the basement, which is both our primary pantry-space and a place we need a contractor to be able to access this week or next - so we went with the first company that could schedule for Monday, while Matt was already booked through mid-week.

I contacted Matt from Bat Guys about mice in our basement and he was able to come out within 10 days. He was thorough and showed us what needed to be done to block the entrances the mice were using. He gave detailed instructions to my husband who can now do the necessary work. Matt could have easily taken the work himself but he felt we could handle it and it would be less expensive for us and save his time! I would not hesitate to call or recommend this company!

I contacted Matt from Bat Guys about a bird problem. I noticed birds flying up and into the soffit in my roof. Matt sent Rob out to take a look. Turns out I had a bat problem as well. Rob quickly put me on the schedule. I have a contemporary cape with many angles on my roofline. I was skeptical that he would even be able to access the soffit on one side of the house.
I cannot say enough about Rob. He worked diligently with attention to detail. He covered all the soffits with galvanized screen and installed one-way bat valves at entry points. Rob takes pride in his work and it is obvious with the results. Honesty, integrity and hard work are just a few words I would use to describe Rob. What else would a home owner want in a contractor?

We had a bat in our home, and that was the last straw. When we bought the home a few years ago (a huge two family from 1900), we knew that birds had gotten in there from time to time, and we had found a few carcasses. However, with rabies being 100% lethal we thought it was prudent to better secure the attic area and our home in general. We received two quotes, one from Batguys and one from another pest services agency. Batguys was more expensive by $200, but they went through and completed a thorough inspection both inside and out before providing us with the bid and the other company came when we were away and just surveyed the perimeter from the ground.
After speaking with Rob and he explaining exactly what they were going to do, I believe I received a very good price for the work completed. Rob came as promised the following Monday and spent the entire day working on the house. Not only did he put in wire mesh into the eaves and along the roofline, he sealed up construction gaps and cracks throughout the exterior of our home. He was there at 9 and working through almost 6 pm. Their work is guaranteed for three years. I highly recommend this company!

The Bat Guys understand the habits and mentality of bats. I had Bats in my attic hibernating which is quite creepy but thankfully I am now Bat free. Matt does exactly what he promises and more. He took the time to cover some openings that would be tempting to squirrels even though it was not in the contract. He is hardworking conscientious and a craftsman. I recommend Matt. Batguys out of Attleboro was a less than optimal experience. Eliminated bats at first but then they came back. Did not honor their guarantee and come back no matter how many times I called them. Very disappointing as they seemed like good bat guys. Looking for different Bat Guys to do the job right.

Hi, we had an awful situation in our backyard. A deer had been killed there and the birds were all feeding on it. It was located near my daughters swing set. It happened on Saturday morning, so we really swung into action on Monday calling the city etc. to get it removed. The city won't remove it if it's on private property. I called around and most pest control places will not do this service.
Another place quoted me much higher for the removal. I called Matt and left a message and he called me about 2 hours later. He came that same day, early in the time window he gave me. He cleaned it all up and as he said you would never guess what happened there, now. Wwe have our yard back! Thank you so much! Rebecca from Beverly

These guys are great! We had a small mouse problem that required a couple visits from them. They were always prompt and very friendly and helpful. At one point Matt had to get up on our roof to check a few spots and he noticed a shingle was pulled off from that freak snow storm Halloween weekend. He took it upon himself to fix it for us even though it had nothing to do with the mouse issue. Now that's customer service at its best!

I thought I had a problem with rodents in my attic. It turns out, it was probably an old problem that was never really cleaned up by the previous tenants. Matt worked with me over email to determine if my house was even able to be mouse proofed. It was determined that my deck might cause some problems, so he sent Mike to check it out the next morning to see.
After a 15min inspection Mike was nice enough to give it to me straight, it doesn't look like I have a serious mouse problem. Yay! He was even nice enough to recommend a few suggestions that would help prevent rodents from getting in and he left me with a few pieces of wire mesh to get started. All at no cost! There is nothing like an honest, hard-working small business owner. I would recommend these guys to my mother. Thanks for being honest and not trying to sell me something I didn't need. Dave.

I had the pleasure to deal with this company recently. I found I had a mother raccoon and three pups deep inside my chimney. I made a call to BatGuys and Matt responded the very next day. He took care of removing the animals (humanely) and put a top quality cap on the chimney so I wouldn't have this problem again. I thought the price was reasonable for the work he performed.
He had to remove a couple of bricks from the chimney but did so with as little disruption as possible. I would highly recommend BatGuys for any animal control/removal issues that you may have.
