I heard about Jabs Construction through their sponsorship of my local little league so I decided to call them for an estimate on repairing my deck. It needed lifted and reattached to my home. They had the best priced estimate so I hired them. The workers arrived on time and finished the job a lot quicker than originally estimated which was perfect. Also when I Quality and honest work. If needed I'll definitely hire them again.received my invoice that was alo under the estimate.

Jabs Construction has finished two additions for our house. Both of them were done in a very timely and professional manner. They were extremely easy to work with, the communication was great. They really work with you on what would suit your family and lifestyle. They gave us advice on windows, floor coverings, and different approaches to our space.
We received several estimates, and theirs was uniformly less expensive. They were also very detailed in what they were responsible for, and what we needed to purchase. Their subcontractors for flooring, painting, electrical, siding, and foundation work were all very professional and did good work. If there was an issue, like we had one with the painting of our trim, they made sure that we were satisfied with the result.
We could phone them months after the work and they would fix the problem. We highly recommend them for any project you might consider. Both Tim and Chris were great to work with. They also have excellent support staff that get back to you right away.

Jabs construction was beyond fairly priced, incredibly responsive, and extremely professional through out the entire process of making repairs and updates to my home. As a military family: I can assure anyone looking to hire their services that this company is extremely veteran friendly. I strongly recommend them- your only regret will be going with another company!

Used Jabs for a pretty significant drywall repair, after we had water damage and plumbing repairs, including a pretty big hole in our ceiling. Tim was professional and courteous, talked through options, and wrote out a proposal that was flexible enough for us to decide how much work we wanted them to do. They executed the work according to schedule, and their office staff was always prompt and courteous when we had questions. Completed the job according to the final proposal - and even did a little extra touch-ups on the drywall that they didn't have to do. Very happy with the results and the customer service.

Jabs Construction did a roof conversion (flat roof to pitched roof), and so far everything seems to be good. No obvious leaks, and it looks nicer than I was expecting. They also did some siding work for me (after I was screwed over my another company), and that looks great at well. I think the best thing about Jabs is that they don't seem like they have much patience for messing around.
They are straightforward, honest, and just want to get the job right the first time. They pulled permits (I have had issues with permits not being actually pulled before) and kept me in the loop if there were any issues along the way. They even answered my really stupid, paranoid questions. I would definitely use them again.

This is a review based on electrical work Jabs did for me. The main problem is that the finished work came in over 50% higher than the initial estimate, and I was never notified about this prior to receiving the final bill! The work itself was done well, by all accounts. And the initial contract had a clause that mentioned if certain specified extra work needed to be done, that cost would be added on. HOWEVER, I was specifically told by the electrician that he didn't anticipate much of that extra work needing to be done, and this was after he had inspected things on-site.
I understand unforeseen problems come up, but that should have been discussed with me prior to so much additional work being done. We're talking an increase of $1,700 on an estimate that was less than $3,000. That's an unprofessional and questionably ethical way to conduct a business. Also, while Darren the main electrician was personable and easy to deal with (outside of the contradiction in what I was initially told vs what wound up being done), a helper that came with him one day was not. The helper was rude and put a wet, dripping cup on an obviously freshly painted surface, and begrudgingly moved it when I pointed this out to him.

We contacted this unprofessional business for a remodel quote and when the representative showed up, his exact words were, "If I would have known it was you, I wouldn't have come. You're wasting my time." Apparently being a Veteran, serving your country in combat, being disabled, and trying to have work done on a VA grant is a waste of their time.
He was VERY rude, arrogant, disrespectful and highly unprofessional. If you're a Veteran or disabled Veteran, do not waste YOUR time being insulted by this company. It's a disgrace and disgusting to be humiliated in your own home. We would not recommend this company to ANYONE, Veteran or civilian, for ANY project.

Called the folks at Jabs after a friend recommended them to help with some siding repair at my folks place in Manassas. Their staff was very friendly and had a representative come on out to the house to take a look. We had been having some issues after a thunderstorm last season with the siding near the attic. They took a look, and decided to come back with some materials they had the next day.
Spot was fixed perfectly and looks original to the house. Glad I called. Hopefully nothing else will need fixing for a while, but if it does I will happily reach out to them again.

Rude, obnoxious and uncaring. Think they know better than the customer. Did a measure for a bath remodel. Finally wrote a proposal over three weeks after the measure, and only because I called to find out what is the delay. Proposal contained NONE of my design specifications. Fired them on the spot for their attitude.
