We had cabinet refacing done by Creative. Wanted to say how pleased we are with the job Scott Nottingham and his wife Mandy did. Scotts attention to detail is second to none. Anything you asked Scott for he delivered. I'm extremely picky when it comes to jobs like this and I cant say enough great things about the job they did. They were very courteous and respectful.

I'm also pleased how clean they kept the area as they went along. Mandy was constantly vacuuming and sweeping every time I came out to look at their progress. Cabinets look brand new in white Shaker style that we went with vs the old golden oak we had from the 90's. Looks like a totally different kitchen. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Great Job Nottingham's!

I would without hesitation recommend Creative for all your remodeling projects. From start to finish very professional. The contractor Eric was phenomenal, he is truly a Jack of all trades. I just can't say enough good things about him. From the tiling to the plumbing he did it all. Thank you Eric and Creative for my beautiful new bathroom, I love it.

Eric did the rebuild of our bathrooms. He was a responsible hard worker who paid attention to detail. Very knowledgeable. Showed up when he said he would be here. Did a beautiful job on our bathrooms. Would use him again in a minute. Would request him if we have more work to be done. Sara& Bev

We contracted Creative to reface our 1980's Kitchen cabinets back in September 2021. The job entailed laminate material for a new modern look, new crown molding, new doors, and hardware (hinges and handles). Jake Meister was our Sales Associate. He was very easy to work with, professional, and responsive. He even met with us after hours since we work during the day. Admittedly, we were skeptical of doing a refacing as opposed to installing all new cabinets but also wanted to reduce the total cost of the job and not damage newly installed granite counter tops. Jake was very patient and thorough in describing the process, its benefits, and ultimate quality.

Due to COVID, labor was not available to begin the work until March of 2022 which was frustrating but understandable. Josh Eckerle was the tradesman that did the entire remodeling / refacing job single handedly. He was professional, efficient, clean, and skilled beyond our expectations. The cabinets look like they are all new as opposed to only having the exterior refaced and doors replaced. I would recommend Josh to anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen or bathroom cabinets in the future.

Scott did an excellent job of refacing our cabinets. The quality of the replacement materials, doors and drawers was better then we expected. The entire group at Creative have been professional and courteous to work with. I would recommend them and use them again. Service: Remodeling

To be fair my overall rating is 4.5. Creative did a complete tear out and renovation to two of my bathrooms. Overall I must say I am a very satisfied customer and would definitely use Creative again. My contactors were Norm and Matt and these guys were the absolute best. I honestly can't say enough about these two. They really make Creative shine and stand out from the rest. Matt and Norm alone completed my entire job in 11 days.

They showed up everyday and put in a full days work. I was very impressed by their work ethic, hands down the best contractors I have ever worked with! If I was just rating them and the work they did, I'd definitely give them 5 stars. They gave me daily statuses and let me know the game plan for the next day. They were very accomdating since I work from home, letting me know the times when the noise would be louder and even working on quieter projects when I had meetings.

I appreciated the consideration immensely. Of course chosing to have work done during COVID pushed everything out. There was a long delay with everything material related. That understandably was no fault of Creative. My one and only issue with Creative is I felt there was Iack of communication. I was the one who called Creative for statuses on materials (at the 16th week mark and again at the 24th week mark).

I did feel like Creative should have reached out to me, at minimum, at the 16th week mark and let me know where we stood with materials/manufacturers. There was an issue with what was quoted in my contract by the Salesperson and what really needed to be done for one of the jobs but that issue was resolved between my Contactors and Creative. Overall my experience was very positive and as I stated I will definitely use Creative again for future renovations. I have already referred them to several associates looking for a reputable company for their renovations. I highly recommend Creative.

My cabinet refacing work was done well and as ordered. Scott Nottingham did the cabinet refacing and did a very good job. He and his wife Mandy were professional and careful with my appliances. Bad place to work for. Not one did i get paid what i was offered. All work was completed and still not once did i get what i was promised.

Had creative tear out and completely remodel our 1930's bathroom. Norman and Matt were practically family by the time the job was done, and they literally turned a bad experience with this company into a good one. As for communication and timeliness, get everything in writing. There were issues to the moon and back with what the salesperson told us and the actual job.

The takeaway is that this company has fantastic contractors, and they really do great work. Just document everything and anticipate for an up to 6 month wait for work to begin.

I set up 2 separate appointments for someone to come to my home for an estimate. No show both times and did not have the courtesy to call me to let me know that either they were running late or unable to make the appointment. If that's their business model, better off finding another company to do the work.

Get everything in writing. Especially timing and Anything the salesperson says. Misrepresented timing by months ( not Covid related). Just bad business. Owner would not budge or compromise even though issues were clearly Creative building & Remodelings fault. This is the Warren based company. Dont let owner tells you the bad reviews are for another company with Creative in the title. I would never recommend using the company

I'm so disappointed in this company. I heard really great things about them and was looking forward to using them. However, they have been completely unprofessional. I had someone (Jake I believe) come out to do an estimate. He was nice and friendly and said he would have the estimate to us by Wednesday evening. That came and went so I followed up on Monday and they said he would be giving me call.

No call. So I waited a few more days and reached out again on Friday. They again said he would reach out. Nothing. Can't speak to their work, but if this is how they handle potential business I don't want to know. I will be looking for alternative companies to do my kitchen and bath remodel.

Although it took some time after signing contract.it was worth the wait. Scott Nottingham and his wife refaced my kitchen cabinets and did a FABULOUS job.very thorough and neat. I cannot say enough about the personal attention our job was given by the team at Creative! Everyone that came out to the house was personable, patient, and extremely helpful. Scott and Mandy did an incredible job with the actual reface and went above and beyond to ensure all the tiny details were addressed. I appreciated how meticulous their workmanship was as well as how they kept things clean and in order each day.

They were both very friendly and more than willing to go out of their way to ensure all of our questions were answered. Thank you for a great experience and a beautiful kitchen!

I saw their add in a local paper and decided to call and inquire about a full bathroom and partial kitchen remodel. A woman answered the phone and said that I needed to speak with someone by the name of Mitch and that he wouldn't be in until that following Thursday. She took down my info and said he would give me a call to schedule an estimate. Well, Thursday came and went and I never heard from Mitch.

I called again and left a voicemail. you guessed it, no one returned my call. I guess they're not interested in any new business. After reading some of these reviews, seems like they did me a favor.

Creative Building was recommended to me by a colleague so I stopped in to their showroom around 11:30 am on August 20 to speak to someone about remodeling one of my bathrooms. A woman came out of the back room to greet me and I said I would like to speak to someone about a bathroom remodel. She said the bathroom display was upstairs and I should go up there to look around and someone would be up to assist me in a minute.

I wandered around alone in the display area for 25 minutes and nobody came to assist me. I then went back downstairs and wandered around for another minute or two. I could hear the employees talking and laughing in the back room. I then left this business thinking that if this is the caliber of service extended to customers when attempting to get the job what would it be like if I gave them the contract? They must have enough business that they can afford to ignore new customers. I have since signed a contract with another firm for $16,800 to remodel the bathroom.

I was going to call for a full bathroom and kitchen remodel but owner seems like a headache to deal with. I'll keep looking. Remodeling is stressful enough already.

These guys were great. Todd, Mitch, Mike. Lorrie (probably forgetting a couple more names) and the team were fantastic to work with. Off the bat their prices were very competitive compared to other companies. Probably would've costed us another 5-10K going with a bigger name company. They completed the kitchen in a good amount of time, were clean, always kept me in the loop. The final product looks amazing. Highly recommend working with these guys.

We worked with Creative Building and Remodeling to update and remodel our kitchen. We had new cabinets added, existing cabinets refaced, new quartz counters, new sink and faucet, dishwasher installed and the fridge enclosed. The sales process was quick and easy and they were able to accurately predict when our installation would take place. Scott and his wife did a GREAT job with the installation, keeping everything cleaned up each and every evening before leaving. We were 100% completely satisfied with all aspects and would highly recommend Creating and Scott for refacing cabinets!

After reading positive reviews on this company, I hired them for a kitchen remodel. The contractors Mike & Dave were always on time, worked extremely hard and cleaned up every day. They were pleasant, asked the right questions and suggested changes to the original plan. After a couple of days, I was comfortable leaving them alone in my home. Once it was time for the backsplash, I was not happy with the contractor they sent in.

One phone call to the owner, Jerry, remedied my concerns. 2 days later a different tile man, Tony, came and finished the job perfectly. My beautiful kitchen has exceeded my expectations and the continued communication and expertise of this company is second to none. Do not hesitate to hire this company. I will be bringing them back to remodel my bathrooms.

Call to get a quote on a full remodel of our kitchen and was told that they do not service Detroit or Wayne County residents. If you look at the company's web site they do work in Gross Point which is located in Wayne County. My our home is in Detroit (East English Village) one block over from Gross Point. If you don't want to deal with Detroit residents just say that don't lie.

We just finished a kitchen remodel with this company. We had our cabinets refaced and new counter top installed with sink and a new Island built. The entire job was complete in 3 weeks. Scott did an excellent job with the cabinet refacing and worked hard and fast. He even came on the weekends when we could swing it. He did a great job cleaning up after each day! Tony did a good job with the back splash and the rest of the work done was satisfactory. Overall, we are happy and would recommend this company.

Very happy with my new bathroom! Jay and Tony did a great job. The tile work is perfect. Everything was done professionally and with little impact to my days. I would work with them again and recommend them to anyone, small or big jobs. I would read through the google page reviews or Angie's List to get a more accurate depiction of their work. This yelp rating doesn't do them justice.

Company is horrible. Poor service, out to get you attitude as soon as they took our money. Be careful and READ & EDIT their contract. After 3 days there is no way to get your money back no matter how Awful their service or how big their delays and excuses. Everything favored Creative and nothing protected the customer. Don't want to believe there are companies out there that operate like Creative, but unfortunately there are! Stay Away!

I had the worst customer service experience with Creative Remodeling. 2 month ago, I made an initial appointment at 3:30 pm, but the sales & design person never showed up and had to call the office back. The female reprehensive didn't know where he was, and finally she called me back, saying the sales person couldn't make it. I made the appointment 3:30 pm a week later, but he didn't show up again.

He never called me why he didn't come to the appointment, either. I had to call the office again! The sales & design person called me this time that he can come to 5:00 pm on the same day. When I came bake home at 5:00 pm, he parked his car in front of the garage where I cannot access to. I waited for 5 minutes, but he was still doing something in the car and never moved.

He was so rude and impolite. He never apologized not to show 2 appointments. After measuring the kitchen, he asked me when I can come to his showroom. Next Saturday appointments were all booked, so he promised me to email me the estimates and information. Guess what? NEVER HAPPENED! Unfortunately, I threw his business card, and don't remember his name. But he is the one who goes to each house as a designer. I am glad that I don't use this company. It will be miserable.

We are extremely happy with the work Creative Building did on our master bathroom remodeling project. We were assigned two highly talented craftsman, Eric and Rich, who turned a 1970's bathroom into a real feature of our home. High quality and attention to detail reflected in their work and their desire to exceed our expectations are why we will be calling on them in the future. Thanks to Eric, Rich, Todd, and Mitch for a great job!

Super happy with my bathroom remodel. The guy this company contracted was amazing. He was very helpful and professional. He did more work than what was expected of him as he put one coat of paint on the walls and painted the ceiling for me, this was supposed to be my responsibility. He was also able to communicate with me whenever a problem arose and was solution focused to make it all work. Won't lie, it took awhile and was expensive but worth it. My bathroom is beautiful!

I hired Creative Building & Remolding to completely redo my master bathroom. During the installation their contractor assured my husband and me on separate occasions that the floor would be level. He never said we had foundation issues. When the bathroom was completed the floor and toilet were NOT level. We reported it to the owner and sent him pictures.

The owner said it would require extra work and expense; the installer NEVER said this. The owner did not offer any remedy until I filed a complaint with the BBB; even then he would not guarantee it would be level. At binding arbitration the owner admitted the work was not within industry standard. I promised to UPDATE my online reviews, but he rescinded his offer when I refused to REMOVE my online reviews.

He lost binding arbitration, at which time the owner said his work with the below industry standards and he refuses to abide by the contract HE signed which changed his BBB review to NR. Luckily the Judge agreed with the Arbitrator, the business had to refund me a large percent of the contract price.

It's difficult to rate a company that cannot remember to show up for a design appointment. Initial appointment in our home went well. Second appointment in the store was somewhat surprising as the quote was quite low. Third appointment to finalize design and discuss materials, oh, our salesman forgot to show up! We waited in the shop for 20 minutes before leaving.

No one else seemed aware of his schedule, nor did they appear to care. Gave up an hour of our precious Saturday and skipped one of our kid's sporting events. He called from the golf course later in the day to apologize. Unprofessional.

Creative Remodeling is a GREAT company. I'm really shocked by the 1 review as that was not our experience at all. I hired the company to remodel my main bathroom. They did a great job and had quite a few good suggestions during the planning process. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a good contractor that will not rip you off or try to add a bunch of extras on the estimate or bill. Even had a spot that needed touch up and it was done without delay.
