Rebuilding Together Montgomery County is a volunteer organization that works in partnership with the community to address the requirements of low-income homeowners, primarily the elderly, disabled, and families with kids. RTMC is dedicated to helping Montgomery County residents who have worked hard to own their own homes but whose failing health or fixed income doesn't enable them to serve the extraordinary costs of home repair.

Rebuilding Together Montgomery County relies on volunteers of all skill levels to complete critical repairs for our neighbors in need. We will teach you the skills you need and give you the tools to complete projects that allow our neighbors to remain safely at home. At this time, we do not have any opportunities available for individual volunteers.
What began as a simple act of 'neighbors helping neighbors' has expanded to holistic community revitalization. Through our Community Revitalization Partnership (CRP) model, Rebuilding Together Montgomery County works to maximize our investment in the community by partnering with other local non-profits to repair community spaces such as shelters, permanent housing structures, and donation centers.
Safe and Healthy Homes is RTMC's ongoing program dedicated to providing free critical home repairs and accessibility modifications to homeowners in need. By providing repairs and modifications in underserved communities, we address the connection between health and housing and help to preserve the existing affordable housing stock across Montgomery County.
