First time renovating a home so a complete newbie and boy am I glad I went to Emser to get my tiles. Samantha and Leo are both amazing and super helpful throughout the entire selection, purchase, delivery process. I sent so many emails with questions, more follow up questions, bla bla, and they always got back to me in a timely manner and answered all my questions.

Came here on a Friday to get tiles for my 3 bathrooms. I asked them to show me only what's available. Spent hours and finally picked out everything. They said they'll have a quote for me Monday or Tuesday. Great. After a month of chasing them for a damn quote they tell me the tiles aren't in stock. Whaaa! Are you kidding me! A complete waste of time. These guys suck and are total joke.

Called yesterday asked for Sam. Someone took my number, told me she'd call back. She didn't. So I called today. Sam didn't know how deep the coils are for the heated floor she sells- isn't this something she would know? Then she said she'd email a quote after not knowing when RedGuard should be put on, then she didn't email the quote.
I don't even think she wrote down my email honestly. Didn't want to answer my questions on the phone (said she normally only talks to general contractors not the client.) I wonder how she can answer questions from a GC if she doesn't even know how much deeper a heated coil will make your floor & seems to have little knowledge of the product (only sells it).
But anyway she was avoiding my questions on the phone, then told me to email them (but then she never emailed me the quote she promised so I couldn't email her back- I think she did this on purpose bc she didn't want to answer my questions). So I contacted the tile installer that recommended her to me- he called her- then she called me back. Again promised to email me a quote & didn't. Horrible customer service, won't be spending my $ here! Unless there's a better salesperson than Sammy.

This is a 5-star review on Samantha Laure and Samantha Laure only - ask for her if you are a Normal millennial with cute Instagram taste, SHE. GETS. IT. Every time I walked into the store, the other buyers would be generations older than me and most of the other staff would ask me in a condescending way if I had made an appointment (as if I was walking into some exclusive country club).
But Samantha would always see me (no appointment), and took so much time and care to walk me through the different options, combinations, what material would be best for my vision and why. Outside of the showroom, she was super fast and efficient on email communication (a millennial's dream). You can pay for your tiles through their electronic payments portal = so easy. Because Emser is a retail brand you'll actually find their items at wholesale prices here compared to other bigger tile stores. Samantha must be protected at all costs!

Leo Holtz was incredibly helpful and nice. I needed 15 sq ft of tile to finish up a project and he walked me through all the options to get it to me in a timely manner over the phone and even matched the other retailers price (I had Emser Tile but hadn't purchased it directly from Emser). Will stop here first next time and buy direct!

The selection is nice. But the service was really bad. I would do everything you can to avoid this place.they don't seem interested in helping. I have visited 3 times now and found each time that everyone who works there seems to find customers to be a pain. They are way more interested in their lunch which they were eating in the middle of the store each time I was there. This place needs a manager who cares about customer service.

Very nasty attitude with the gal with long brown hair. She seemed quite annoyed to be helping us. She was very unpleasant and rude beyond words. Not sure why she works there, must really hate her job and life. We took our business to Biagio. They were very helpful and had a pleasant disposition. We had a big job to do on our commercial buildings and they gave a lot of time to us in helping with our choices.

The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful (especially the older bald gentleman sitting at the middle desk I believe his name is Leo). The gal at the front desk and Jessica were pleasant and tried to be helpful.m. I'm a professional interior designer, so i can MAYBE understand not wanting to be as helpful with the general public who has no idea what they're doing, but I'm no longer specifying Emser for my projects. There are many more vendors which much more beautiful products out there.

I had the good fortune to pop into Emser when searching to design my new bathroom. I am not an interior designer nor even a creative type. Leo was knowledgeable, flexible and exceptionally professional in assisting me. In addition Emser (through Leo) worked with my contractor directly to insure the right products were delivered. The stone is exquisite and I am thrilled with the look. I highly recommend Emser for anyone seeking to enhance or crrate a beutiful, quality environment

Beautiful showroom, great products, and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. In two recent visits to the showroom, I have been virtually ignored by the showroom staff, who seem to be too busy on the phone, filling out orders, or chit-chatting amongst themselves to even bother to greet you. Just attempting to make eye contact, I got the vibe that I was bothering them and not worth their time- they seem to be uninterested in small residential projects and too busy dealing with much bigger and better things to care.
When I did finally ask for help, I was met with a condescending attitude, and felt rushed so they could get back to their order forms. Seriously, get over yourselves, it's TILE. You should be working in a cubicle upstairs or in the back of a stockroom if all you are interested in is order forms and not the "real-time" people walking into the showroom.
What is the point of even having a walk-in showroom? Another issue is that most of the tiles on display do not have labels with names and SKU's, which forces you to have to have to "bother" the precious staff - heaven forbid they have to "deal" with such nuisances as live customers in the showroom! I would highly recommend finding what you like on their website and using the "Find a Retailer" tool to locate a local retailer/distributor for samples, rather than subjecting yourself to feelings of "Tile Customer Inadequacy" these people will give you. I am just dealing with my local retailer instead of going back to this place.

Horrible customer service and extremely rude staff. At one point the employees were yelling at one another because they couldn't figure out pricing for their product. (I believe it was their boss yelling at the people in the front) We were planning on using their product for apartment development (40+ unit) but due to this awful experience we are debating if we still want to use their product.
We worked previously with the anaheim branch, which seems to be much better than this location. For a project like this, we expect a certain type of business professionalism.
