W.D. Construction has now been in business over 40 years. As a family owned business, Jim Peirce began the company in 1977. After 30 years of hard work, Jim is now retired from construction. He is still active in several things including a growing sharpening service titled The Sharpening Shop located in Chesapeake City MD. Jim began his career in commercial work doing multi-million dollar school and government projects and the business evolved over the years to transition to mostly residential projects anywhere from small to large scale.
Services
We are willing to meet our customers at their home or onsite to discuss their needs and to determine exactly what they are looking for us to do for them. Back in the office we can design complete CAD drawings and blueprints to further define the project. With drawings in hand, we are then able to finalize a bid which allows the customer to see precisely what we intend to build for them.

I have used WD Construction numerous times over the last year. First, they renovated 4 rooms in my home. Removing carpet and installing LVP. Removing/replace bathroom vanity and fixtures. Painting and drywall. Then Walter sent his crew down to renovate my beach house in NC. Lots of interior and exterior work needed. His crew is knowledgeable, trustworthy and good to work with. Walter has high standards and a wonderful work ethic. I appreciate having him do work in my homes. I highly recommend WD Construction!
