Carolina Pest Management has been handling the pest control needs of residents in Charlotte and its surrounding areas since 1939. We are one of the oldest and most experienced pest control companies in Charlotte. For four generations, our family-owned business has seen many changes in pest control, and we have been part of the effort to make pest control methods safer, greener, and more effective. Our company was founded in 1939 by David Dodd, Sr., a retired Methodist Minister. Rev. Dodd became involved in the pest control business by helping his fellow man. Times had been hard in the 1930's and a man from up north was passing through looking for work to feed his family. He called upon Rev. Dodd for help and since he had been trained in pest control, Rev. Dodd suggested they open a pest control business- thus, Carolina Chemical and Pest Control was born.In 1951, David Dodd, Jr. assumed full time management responsibilities of the company, moving the company headquarters to Monroe, NC, where the company is still located today and remains Union County's leading pest control service.

I've been using this company for pest control for 2 years. My technician is Jeff, and he is very thorough in treating my home for pest prevention. I haven't had any pest issues at all. I highly recommend both Jeff and Carolina Pest Management. Services: Cockroach extermination, Ant extermination, Spider extermination

Great company and great technicians. We moved 2 years ago and saw their trucks in our new neighborhood. So we gave them a call and we've been happy with them ever since. The house we bought was over 25 years old and have some bug issues. DJ from Carolina Pest Management took real good care of our home bug issues, recommended some future treatments and has taken care of any problems that needed a follow up visit. This company is worth it! Reasonable prices too!

Carolina Pest Management: Their Technician Shane H., is a very personable fellow. He was proactive in reaching out to me before he arrived over the phone. Once he arrived he very efficiently was ready to go into action, yet when I asked questions he took the time needed to walk with me and even adjusted his plan to accommodate my concerns. I liked him.
The company has a long standing history in the area, good communication, responsible workmen. The office staff has repeatedly shown respect for my interactions with them. Over the past 18 years my impression has only deepened to respect and appreciation for them as a company and partner in maintaining my home.

I am SO impressed with this company and it's refreshing to give my business to a company that is honest, responsive, professional and solution oriented. I had the scary luck to encounter a big copperhead snake. Carolina Pest responded to my late night email in the most thoughtful and thorough manner. The next morning, the gentleman on the phone was so nice, reassuring (I was scared) and helped to calm my nerves. The gentleman who to came to my home was a true professional, friendly, smiling, helpful and hard working. Highly recommend Carolina Pest!

We have been using a competing sevice for a long time, but still had a bugs and thought we were going to take more drastic action. We decided to give Carolina Pest Management a shot first and we haven't seen a single bug since. Our technician, Troy, was great - very helpful and thorough in taking care of our problems. Also love that they have a "green" option. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Michelle came out to take care of a problem at my house and was so knowledgeable and caring and thorough that I ended up going to Carolina Pest Management for our business account too. She was a blessing and spent so much time and effort and even came out on a weekend. Some other we had worked with in the past did not have the resources to do what she did. I really respect and am grateful to her for her effort and skill and genuine caring.

I am sure this vendor is competent. What was unfortunate is they would not come out to inspect my new home to give me a quote for ongoing services without charging me. As such they gave up potential long term work order. How do I know what all I need not being a bug/pest expert myself in order to maintain my home and grounds? A phone quote going off what I think I need isn't effective. I will look into other vendors who want to build the relationship to obtain the work.

Pleasant, no-pressure, thorough inspector checked out my home for free and offered an estimate for various types of preventative services. If I don't want an annual package, I can pay for an inspection in upcoming years if desired. While I haven't decided what to do for next year, this company seems reputable to me.

Called them on a Thursday after hours, left a voice-mail, they called me back first thing Friday morning. I knew it was going to be a stretch, but I asked if there was any way they could come out that day as I was working from home. 10 mins later the guy was there and 1 hour later my house was sprayed for bugs and he was heading out. This company was very courteous, fast, and professional. I would highly suggest them if you're looking for a pest control company!

I have been very impressed by the customer service offered by Carolina Pest. After entering my information on their website, I was promptly contacted and given detailed information on their services and prices. My service technician, Jeff, called to schedule the appointment. He arrived exactly on time and was friendly. He completed the job in less than an hour. Then, 2 weeks later I started seeing spiders again. Ironically, at that same time, Carolina Pest called me to check on the service. Impressive!
I told them the problem and they immediately scheduled me for another (free) treatment. Jeff came out again and was friendly as usual. I like that they guarantee their service. I just hope it works this time!
