We have been thoroughly impressed with Balducci Builders from day one of our building experience, from Rick Balducci selling our previous house with ease, Dennis Balducci being so involved and taking the time himself meeting us onsite explaining every detail of construction of our home.
Ashley was a pleasure to work with and she is a real asset to Balducci and was extremely helpful with the planning and selection coordination process and assisting in every aspect of the construction stages. The quality of workmanship and materials used was second to none.

Needed to move to the area to help aging parents. Baldouche promised my husband and I a little house for rent, said our four-year-old son would be safe there, and then at the last minute refused letting us move in costing us not only all the fees they wanted us to pay, but also my job that I had given up to move to Hanover. as well as our 6 yo cat that wasn't allowed. Btw, we got a bigger house for less money that allowed me to get back and keep my cat in a safe neighborhood. Close to my new job, and the school my son now goes to. I would not recommend this guy to anyone. Most unprofessional.

I have not personally dealt with them. I just want to leave a review about one of their driver's my mom and I encountered today (6/7/2021) at Walmart in Mechanicsville. We were leaving Walmart parking lot and a guy driving a white Balducci truck with license plate "DUCCI 5" drove across the entire Walmart parking lot ILLEGALLY between cars and speeding.
My mom almost hit him twice. The second time my mom blared down on the horn and her brakes to stop from hitting him. I rolled down my window and told him I was reporting him to Balducci and he said "ooohh, ok good". I told him that I am 9 months pregnant and if we would have hit him and I would have lost my son that he would have had a lawsuit. He told me not to f***ing talk to him.
I told him that it was my constitutional right that I can speak to whoever I want to. He leaned in the Balducci truck and gave us an evil look and was searching like he was going to pull out a weapon. I called Balducci and spoke to someone (can't remember his name) and told him what happened. All he told me was that he wasn't there so he don't know what happened, that all he can do is say he was sorry and that he will find out what the guy's problem was. I told that guy that if I would have lost my son because of his employee that they would have a lawsuit.

Critical: Responsiveness Can't attest to the quality of work, as they disappeared before we began. After putting me through a paid design phase and multiple site walkthroughs to scope the 3 bathroom remodel project, i waited weeks for the long awaited estimate, only to be told that they weren't going to give me one! Just a bunch excuses. Garbage. Services: Project management, Remodeling

I just wanted to share a very positive experience I had with Balducci Builders. To clarify up front, I did not have a house built by them. I live on the corner of a busy road and a gravel road that accesses a few houses on our street. There are two new houses being built several acres behind mine - one by Balducci Builders, one by another company. Unfortunately, a trailer/dump truck/dually had to make a tight turn onto our road and produced some sizable ruts in our yard. (An accident, for sure!) I called Balducci on the weekend and left a message.
I received a call not more than 20 minutes after they opened on Monday. They connected me with the project manager and they backfilled the spots professionally ASAP. What's important to know is that they acknowledged that there was another builder back there that may have been responsible, but they didn't care. They were happy to address the issue. Kindness, professionalism, and courtesy are lost amongst companies these days. It was refreshing to interact with such a company!

The Balducci's just completed building our home and we're very pleased with every aspect of the build process and the end product. The workmanship is top notch and the customer service is outstanding. We've had a couple of other homes built in the past and it can be a stressful experience, but this time it was a pleasure. The Balducci's are a family that understands the value of doing things the right way - something that is hard to find these day's.

We love our new home. Rick was very informative at the initial meetings and discussing the plans. Matt and Dennis were with us through every step of the process and MADE sure we were satisfied with everything. Even after we moved in, Matt has always been a phone call away to answer any questions. It is truly a family run business and they care about their customers. Thank you for a beautiful, custom and quality home.

Horrible follow through.contacted twice with two different sales and both times they agreed to quote, seemed eager and offered to meet and both times strung me along for 3-4 weeks and ultimately blew me off without returning calls after, eveb after some initial quotes. left voicemails and emails and neither agent had the decency to just say "not interested" at this time. the worst a contractor can do.leave a potential client hanging after offering to quote, refine quote and meeting at site. why are contractors ignorant to this simple idea.complete disrespect for potential business. how about a simple return call after 4 weeks of back and forth to say "no thank you".idiots
