Instead of a big box store people should take advantage of a small business like this for its better expertise.

Talk about above and beyond. My wife and I went there months ago looking for a bath tub and toilets for our new home. Their selection is awesome (check out Bain if you're looking for a tub!). What's unique is that you get to work with the owners who have been doing this for decades and actually care, as opposed to someone doing it part time for a couple of years as a hobby (not saying that's the case everywhere, but you can get stuck with that).

They've been doing it so long that they know the little things to look out for that you just won't get at other places. They're also up to date on the latest. Yes, these guys are old school and do everything on paper so you won't get a fancy printout with your selections and you may have to be a bit more patient, but you will be satisfied with your purchase for years. IMO, that's worth much more than the fancy printout. Furthermore, we ordered a bidet for our new build and with the infamous 2020 TP shortage, we ran into the bidet shortage.

These guys stayed in touch with the supplier for months and we finally got it (actually came at the same time as the big store which we used for backup, so you're getting the same treatment from the suppliers as the big stores). John (one of the owners) went the extra mile and delivered it out to our new house on a Friday night (didn't ring the doorbell because he knew we have a baby). We live an hour away! Talk about service and selection! Would highly recommend. Thanks guys!

We have been going to Star supply for years (3 houses in 20 years). No where else will you find such a selection of high end and hard to find products. I would never go to a big box store for plumbing fixtures while Star Supply offers the good stuff at a fair price.

Called to order a American Standard bath vanity. Gave them the model number and was told it's the incorrect number. Explained that I was reading the number directly off the company website but apparently I was still wrong. When I attempted to make myself clear they hung up on me- lol Called Ferguson Plumbing in Oakdale and they took care of me in minutes. Ordered the vanity with model number I was giving Star. Done some business with Star in the past due to convenience and specialty products. Always amazed at the high prices and the level of conceitedness. After being hung up on I'll shop elsewhere.

I bought a true luxury when I purchased a Whirlpool, large tub with jets at Star Supply. It has been a high point for relaxing and escaping from a tough day. I also did research on typical costs at most shops only to recognize that I got a reasonable price for such a luxury item. Now I am at Star for kitchen sinks, faucets and and love the options.

The owner is personable, and has many ideas as he kindly assists in the planning. I recently found that they can get the correct shower converter kit for my clawfoot tub. They specialize in quality. Star Supply has lots of excellent options, especially if you have unusual sizes, or need a specialty item. They are there to help.

Went in with my wife to check out kitchen sinks and faucets. Were completely ignored by two salesmen, one who was with a customer but refused to acknowledge our presence and the other who was going in and out of his office looking busy with some paperwork and also completely refused to acknowledge our presence. Saying you are with another customer doesn't cut it. You need to make people feel you want them to be there. We finally left.

Came in to check out a craigslist ad on toto clearance expecting an outlet. surprisingly this is a full fledge showroom of high end brands. very nice displays. John Sorbo shared his comprehensive knowledge of toilets, shower faucet trim/valves, vanity cabinets, medicine cabinets. they had a working display of the panasonic whisper exhaust fans i was looking for. i received far more information and attention than i have at ferguson in GV where i live.

Went to this business to look into getting a new kitchen sink and faucet. My wife and I sat there for 25 minutes being totally ignored by one salesman who was alone but 'busy' doing paperwork while the other one refused to acknowledge our presence while he droned on with a customer about a bathroom remodel. No greeting, nothing. Finally left. What a ridiculous experience.

We loved the huge variety of bathroom fixtures -- everything but Kohler, which was A-OK. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Went in for a repair part. Waited 35+ minutes to be acknowledged only to find out they don't stock replacement parts, or even the items that are on the show floor. Won't be going back.
