Basement Waterproofing Solutions

Spoke with David on the phone about the issue I was having with my basement. He was great on the phone and even had me send him photos. We agreed that an onsite estimate would be required for the problem I was having. The problem is that no one from the company ever showed up for scheduled estimate. I called and left a voice mail with David over a week ago but have not heard back. I would have been fine with rescheduling if he had conflicts but the that fact that I never head back seems very unprofessional.

Great team, great work and after two years, no water in our basement! Yesterday was a true testiment as we received over 6 inches of rain and we didn't get any water in the basement. Best investment we ever made! Thank you!

Coincidentally they did a job for me just before the floods hit from Ida. The basement, which has always been wet, held out great. Service, communication and quality work at a reasonable price. Highly recommend

After dealing with many minor and three major (2 just last year) rainwater issues in my basement, I decided that something needed to be done. Dave came out within a few days and within a few weeks I had their Sub-Floor Drainage System (interior French drain) installed (2 days to install). I never got to meet the crew, but they did a masterful job and kept things as clean as could be.considering the type of work.

I was very happy with the looks of the job, but it needed to be put to the test before I could post a review. That test came last night after a few inches of rain fell throughout the day/night. I heard the pump kick on a couple of times throughout the night which allowed me to sleep confidently. In the morning I headed downstairs to check things out - dry as a bone.

I didn't even need to glance at my wet/dry vac. Thanks to everyone involved! UPDATE - 8/8/2020 - Yesterday we had 3 inches of rain in an hour and a few weeks ago 3 inches in 45 minutes. Both times the system did its job beautifully and I couldn't be happier. Thanks again!

Dave at BWS has been a magician in our household! Moving into our home 2 years ago, we knew there was a few water drainage issues that needed addressed. His team worked 1 full day to install the perfect sump pit/pump for our needs. Aside from being professional and courteous, his team made sure there was little dust left in the basement from their construction efforts, ( ie-our pool table was left dust free). Dave has been back a few more times to address minor details given the heavy rains that we've encountered in the last few months.

Spoke with the office Friday, and made an appointment for the following Tuesday morning. Dave came out, discussed the problem, and recommended a carpenter. My husband did the work himself based on Dave's assessment of and suggested solution to the problem. The storms came through this evening (the next day!) and it poured. Success! Dave was friendly, prompt, and extremely helpful. Thank you Dave. Your assistance was key in correcting the problem that we spent 6 months diagnosing and failed to correct. Highly recommend!

BWS performed a crawl space encapsulation, including perforated drain tubes, sump pump, new insulation and a heavy duty vapor barrier. Great work from Dave's team and very happy with the results.

I had 2 sump pumps and french drains installed after months of a flooding basement. David and his crew were stellar! The work crew was friendly, respectful of my home, worked quickly, and left no dust or debris behind. The result looks great, and has so far done its job! (true test will be the spring/summer rains - but not too concerned as a warranty is provided!) I've had a few residual questions/concerns and David was very quick to respond, even come out to the house to address, and thoroughly explain and alleviate my concerns. I feel very confident in the work I had done, and would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family!

David is a really honest and available guy. He has come over on more than one occasion and consulted us, and provided the best price in the area to install two sump-pumps for us and our basement hasn't seen an ounce of moisture since. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In July 2018 York got all the rain ever and my basement flooded. I had only been in the house 8 months, and I was starting to panic. I contacted them on a Saturday and got a call back very quickly. Dave came out to my house, explained exactly what was happening, and why it was happening. We came up with a plan and I got a quote from him very quickly.

Even without doing any work Dave had already given me some peace of mind. I did get a quote from other companies and they were much higher than my quote from BWS. We got the work scheduled for October. Other companies were not only more ecpensive, but were telling me it would be Spring or Summer of 2019 before the work was done. Dave's crew came and got the work done in a few days.

They were professional and courteous and I enjoyed seeing how much they got done everyday. The real proof came last night. York has had a very wet couple weeks and we got VERY heavy rains yesterday. I came home from spending the day away to find the water management system BWS installed was working exactly as Dave said it would. My basement is dry, I can do laundry and use my bathrooms without worry. Thank you!

I hired Basement Waterproofing Solutions to get rid of standing ground water in my basement and do mold remediation. I can't say enough good things about this company. I had 2 other estimates done. The other companies gave me a high pressure sale pitch (I couldn't get the one to leave for 4 hours!). There was no high pressure pitch with Basement Waterproofing Solutions.

They were reasonably priced and they did an amazing job. My basement is completely water free and no trace of mold. The work was done quickly and the workers were friendly and professional.

We used Basement Waterproofing Solutions for a very wet basement in a 100+ year old home. The basement has probably NEVER been dry until we contracted with David several months ago. We had the work done in October 2017, but I waited to write the review because I wanted to be able to assure other readers that the basement has continued to stay dry.

It has! Every time I go to the basement and actually SEE the floor - it makes me smile. For YEARS the basement ALWAYS had standing water in it and I never saw an actual floor since it was always covered in water or filth/debris from water that had evaporated. David was always responsive to my questions/phone calls and his workers were very good about cleaning up after the days work was done. In addition to the waterproofing we also had the vapor barrier installed and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks, David!

Well, it's been 3+ years and we've not had any water problems in the basement! Both sump pumps with the battery backups have worked fine. When the rain pours outside, we can hear it running in the troughs but the floors remain dry! What great peace of mind that brings!

OK, so the tune has changed, unfortunately. The plumber came and fixed the leak, and despite several calls over several weeks Basement Waterproofing Solutions has not come to our home to complete the job they started. When we spoke with David two weeks ago to ask that he come out and finish the job, he indicated that he was really busy that week but that he would be out the following week.

The following week came and went. On the Friday of the week they were supposed to be out, we called, and have been calling daily since then (4 days), all to no avail. Whereas our calls to David used to be returned within the hour, it's now been four days and four phone calls, and we haven't heard a word back. I think the problem is that we paid them. Since we thought they were so wonderful, and because the job truly was 99% done, it seemed fair to pay them. So we did. But now they won't give us the time of day.
