Chimneys and vents for gas appliances must be cleared following a major snow or ice storm to enable proper venting and prevent any carbon monoxide accumulation. Ensure you check your indoor and outdoor dryer vents to ensure they are clear of obstruction. Make sure that snow does not block exhaust from a sidewall vent. Please don't hesitate to give us a call if you would like information, prices, or to set up an appointment. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 3:00pm. We sweep Monday through Friday and provide 24-hour emergency service.

Our chimney leaked. Water dripped into the attic whenever there was a big rainstorm. Two (2) highly rated and recommended companies attempted repairs without success. Then a large company on the South Shore insisted we needed to rebuild the chimney. We called Eurosweep. Charles Koubek came to our home and did a full inspection of the chimney, inside and out.
Then he followed up with a logical recommendation and estimate for repair at a reasonable cost. He completed the work on time with no additional charges. Now, 7 months later, with hurricanes Henri and Ida behind us, and a near record setting summer of rain, I am pleased to report that there has not been 1 drop of water leaking into our attic. Thank you, Charles.

I have been working with Eurosweep since purchasing my home 20 years ago (2001). As always, i found the company and their staff (often i work with Charles Koubek) to be professional, on time, thorough and offering superb service. They have not only inspected and swept my chimneys as needed, they lined one chimney and waterproofed another. I strongly recommend this company.

Paid for initial assessment of my gas fireplace - $160. Was told that I would need to have a plumber come and check the lines as they thought that no gas was getting through. Plumber came, lines turned out to be fine. Had Eurosweep return for the second time, tech was on the phone the majority of the time with a customer service rep as they figured out what was wrong. Was then told that the entire gas valve would need to be replaced.
Part was ordered, Eurosweep returned, spent 4 hours attempting to install the gas valve while also on the phone receiving instructions/troubleshooting from outside tech (You would think they would know what they are doing!) Tech unsure what to do and would like to talk with the fireplace manufacturer directly. Left part barely installed. Was then told that they would call me back the next day. Nothing, called tech who said he would follow up with me in 1 week. heard nothing. Attempted to call Eurosweep x 2 and known answers. It has been now 6 weeks and I am in the process of finding someone new for assistance.

For those who have to have their fireplaces inspected before they can use them you might benefit from my experience with Eurosweep, a Braintree chimney sweet company. They inspected my chimney on November 11. They took a picture of the inside of the flue and found it in order and declared it was safe to use. They wrote a report and left. Later in the day, I received a memo from the condominium management office where the fireplace is located.
It stated that the town building inspector required a picture or a videotape of the condition of the flue had to be submitted with the report. Either would do. After reading the memo I called Eurosweep to get a copy of the picture. Long story short, Eurosweep told me they did not take a picture of the flue. Really? I was in my living room standing in front of my fireplace when the chimney sweep showed me the picture of the clean chimney flue.
The office manager at Eurosweep would only offer to come back and do a "video scan" of my clean flue. That would cost an additional $350.00 over the $160.00 I had already paid for initial inspection with the photograph. In my opinion, that is nothing but a blatant example of bait and switch. When I insisted that I get a copy of the picture the Eurosweep manager just continued to talk over me and told me to take my business elsewhere.
They did offer to refund my money for the inspection but that was only after I told them I would go on Yelp or Angie's List and give them a very negative report. In my opinion, I would recommend that anyone who has to have their fireplace inspected that they select any chimney sweep except Eurosweep. They are not an honorable company with which to deal. Don't fall for their bait and switch.

I found the team at EuroSweep to be extremely professional and thorough. At the time of scheduling they provided me a window of when they would be here around my schedule. Confirmed the night before and called that morning to say that they were finishing at 1 job and would be at my house within the hour - and they were! They not only inspected the 1 fireplace we used all winter long.but looked at the one we didn't, our gas system and even went on the roof to inspect our chimney and cap!
They provided suggestions and recommendations but did not oversell -- saying that nothing was urgent just "something to think about in the future". They are extremely focused on safety and yet the process was efficient and my home was left in better condition than when they came in. I have used other Chimney Sweeps in the past and not one has ever been on my roof or cleaned my screen! I would highly recommend this service.

This was the most exceptional work I have ever had performed on my home in years. I had spend thousand of dollars with other companies to perform the same work and none compared to this. The work was completed in the time promised and the materials were superb. The workers were very tidy. I would highly recommend EUROSWEEP CHIMNEY SERVICE.

I needed a chimney sweep evaluation in Boston, so I called several chimney sweeps I found listed on the web. This one, Eurosweep, called me back first. The person on the phone negatively commented on all the competitors "out there" in Boston, said the marketplace for chimney sweeps is unregulated in Massachusetts, and then spoke a long sales pitch on how "credible" her company Eurosweeps is.
I think she lied about her firm having serviced 175 and 176 Commonwealth Ave (my neighbors) because the property manager of 176 Commonwealth Ave told me they use a different chimney sweep than Eurosweep. She finally told me that an evaluation is $180 to just come by and look at my chimney. I asked her "wait, you are going to charge me $180 for an evaluation when I have not even hired you yet?" I thought an evaluation was normally done in order to tell me what work would be needed, but not be a sunk cost, especially since I am a new customer and do not know her firm.
She then aggressively interrupted me about 10 times as she ran an aggressive sales pitch on me about how in Massachusetts only credible firms charge up front. She kept tell me that she was "educating" me on Massachusetts chimney sweeps and how I had to pay upfront to get her firm. This was nuts. I finally told her "good luck" -- I'll find a reputable firm that doesn't aggressively demand $180 upfront for just visiting me. Nuts. Stay away from these guys!
