They came out within 30 minutes after I called to service and repair my fireplace. He cleaned it, assessed the problem, did an excellent job repairing. Very friendly and proficient. Thank you - I'm so happy to have a working fireplace!

I called McAllister Plumbing today @ 11:01 for my fireplace, I spoke with Shawn McAllister (Owner) who told me he could come out on 12/23, I told him I was selling my home and closing is tomorrow. Shawn, did not hesitate to tell he would come today after he finished the job he was on. Shawn, arrived at 2:35p, my fireplace fixed and working great. Awesome service, pleasant and GREAT PRICE. We had a problem with our fairly new Rinnai Water heater, it ended up being a bad part that was covered under warranty, but Shawn was fantastic in working with Rinnai to get it taken care of. He came out 4 times, ( No fault of his own, apparently it was an odd issue, and multiple parts were replaced). He was diligent in communication with us and rinnai.

His prices for the labor was extremely fair, and he really knew his stuff. I won't call anyone else but him from now on. Like my daughter said he wins person of the year for 2020.

Sean is a through professional, who knows what he is doing!(hard to find that these days!). He arrived on time and checked my Rinnai tankless water heater at first and mentioned it was in good shape. But had to revisit as the heater was acting weird again. He was cordial and fixed it without any concerns the second time as the issue happened again within 10 days. I would definitely use his service again!

Our gas fireplace was not working correctly, so for safety's sake, we needed to have it inspected and possibly repaired before we could use it. Despite short notice, Mr. McAllister fit us in so that we could have our fireplace working for Christmas. He came exactly when he promised and quickly completed his inspection and resolved our problem by properly placing the logs and cleaning out accumulated soot.

His fee exactly matched his estimate; and while he could easily have sold us a new log set, he told us that ours was fine. As I write this, we are enjoying a beautiful fire. We could not be more pleased and would highly recommend the company. We will be using McAllister for any plumbing services that we may need in the future.

I had been having issues with my 1-yr old gas fireplace after lightning and wind damage to my home. It was a frustrating time trying to get a professional to come out and inspect the fireplace. Finally, I was recommended to contact McAllister Plumbing. Shawn scheduled an appointment for me the same week! He was professional and extremely attentive to understanding what we had been experiencing. Shawn was very thorough and explained his analysis every step of the way.

He was on-point in diagnosing the underlying issue. He then coordinated with the fireplace vendor which got us the parts and final repair easier and quicker. I could not be happier or more grateful for his service!

I previously posted quite a negative review not on Mr. McAllister's professionalism and technical skills but on his company's customer service. Since then, I was contacted and given an acceptable explanation. Mr. McAlister did an excellent job (as I expected); he is outstanding at his trade. He even looked at a couple of my plumbing issues that were not scheduled for his visit. I recommend his services to anybody who wants a job well done, at a fair price.

Had a pool installed and the pool company suggested McAllister Plumbing to install the gas line for the heater. Called Sean and he quickly came out and gave me an estimate. He was very responsive so I went with him and he installed the line within a week or two. We ran into delays with the pool, so we didn't finish the construction in the fall; we waited until March to finish the pool.

From day one, the heater didn't work properly, most of the time it would not ignite. I was frustrated with how difficult it was to get a call returned by Sean. I had to call him multiple times over a couple of weeks to get a response. Spoke to McAllister who came out to see if they could fix the issue. They advised it is a heater issue, not a gas supply issue. Had the Jandy equipment rep come out, inspected and tested the heater and confirmed the heater is fine. Jandy determined it is a gas line issue. Called McAllister multiple times without a response.

It seemed as though since the money was collected, he was no longer willing to respond to my calls or come out to try and help fix the issue. After multiple voice mails without a response, I ended up going to another plumbing company to fix the issue. Based off the service and lack of responses I received from Sean, I would not suggest his services.

I called McAllister Plumbing when my gas fireplace stopped working. Shawn came highly recommended and I was told they specialize in fireplace inserts. Though it seemed to be their busy season we were able to schedule a time that worked conveniently for me and Shawn arrived when he said he would. His service was friendly and professional and I'd recommend Shawn to anyone.
