Decks are the bread and butter our our business here at TimberSeal providing service to nearly five hundred each year. While a deck is a valuable addition to every home it doesn't come without some necessary maintenance.
Fence restoration, sealing and preservation is a staple in the TimberSeal line of services. We can preserve and protect your newly installed wood fence from day one to insure a long life and retained beauty. On the flip side if you have a fence that has been up for several years and is no longer looking very nice TimberSeal can restore it back to it's natural appearance and stain and seal it too look like new again. Without protection sun and moisture damage can take a new fence and begin to grey it out within less than a year.

Contracted with Timberseal in Aug 2021 to clean and stain fence and clean and seal concrete driveway. Fence was completed last year after I complained first cleaning was not sufficient. Late last year, the driveway was cleaned twice, after another complaint it was not sufficient. Then I realized the equipment or operator caused damage, dimples, all over my 3 year old ($10,000) driveway. Greg explained it as spalling which he said was an installation flaw. Whatever. Timberseal has held our 30% deposit, $500. for 8 months and driveway is still not cleaned or sealed and damaged. Emails and voice messages go unanswered. I'm thrilled at all the ones that had great service from this company. I guess I wasn't one of the lucky ones.

Timber Seal did a really good job restoring my deck. Their workers are courteous, professional, and competent. The only issue we had was a slow start, and I'm not blaming anyone for that. Once they started the project, everything went great. The job was on the expensive side, but they did extra work to remove paint first. I'll hire them again.

Theses guys made my deck look like brand new EXTREMELY PLEASED. They literally sanded/buffed out the entire deck before staining. It's alot of labor but, completely worth it. I highly recommend them and I will be using them again in the future. Very Pleased for the price for value. My wood deck is at minimum 15 years old. I had to wait several months dot to the weather but, those things can't be helped.

I have used this company for a number of years from house washes to concrete cleaning and deck work the owner was extremely polite and professional. and the crews that came to my house where very knowledgeable on explaining what the six steps where as I did not completely understand at first you will definitely feel like you got more than you paid for

Don't believe the hype in their pretty brochures stating you will get a 6 step restoration. They say your deck will look great afterwards, but in reality it's a power wash and stain. Your deck will look the same (rough wood and loose boards), just with a pretty color on it, there is no "restoration". And when you complain, they will tell you that you got what you paid for and cannot help you.

I wanted to post an update on our experience since trying to contact the owner. I posted a complaint on the BBB website, and after that got a response from the owner. He came out and said there was bad communication and he just found out about our issue. He said fixing boards is not included, but offered to fix the boards and restain the deck at no charge.
We had two guys come out who could not have been nicer and did a great job. A few days later two more guys came out to restain, again they were great. I just wish everything could have gone this well from the beginning. Props to the owner for following up and fixing the situation.

The owner allows his employees to drive recklessly around and flipping the public off is ok with him. If you complain then he calls them and tells them to stop or next time they are in trouble. Everyone does it so it's really not that bad according to the owner. The Secretary apologized more than the owner. So I can only imagine how they care about their customers. What a joke of a company and their standards.

Update to the most recent review. I received a follow-up from Greg (I am assuming a Manager/Owner) who was very apologetic and also quick to rectify the situation. For the quick response and apology, they get 4 Stars. Customer Service is big in my book, so based on the latter, I am happy to update this review. We will definitely give them a try again in the future because frankly, everyone makes mistakes and this could have just slipped through the cracks. Thank you Greg for your time in replying to my original post :-)
