They were recommended by my pool guy. Had them come and do an estimate. The guy was here for a couple of hours, looked the whole project over, left some brochures and then I never heard from them again. If that's an example of their professionalism I'm thankful I didn't hire them. I can't stand disappearing contractors. I guess their business is so good they don't need my money.

PEARL POOL PLASTERING refinished our pool a few weeks ago. Their crews lied about the work performed, left trash in our yard, and stole hose parts. Even worse, this is only the start of problems with PEARL POOL PLASTERING. The refinishing included a full bond kote followed by Wet edge plaster. The first crew refused to remove the pool ladder and never applied bond kote behind it.
Neither crew repaired the crack in our pool. Now over a week after they left, we found all the pool demolition debris including tiles, concrete and wood scraps on the forest beside our house. They even tried to cover it in leaves to hide it! As many pool contractors use subcontractors, you may otherwise know who is actually doing the work. We wish we would have asked. No one should consider using PEARL unless they want an incomplete low quality job with unprofessional crews AND TRASH.

Worse contractor I have ever worked with. After they installed the plastering the start up on the pool never happened. I was out of town and returned several days later to find the equipment was never turned back on. This should have happened immediately after the pool refinish. Anyway I have a nice reminder everyday when I look at my pool as it is streaky from not starting up the equipment. Buyer BEWARE!

Class act company with top notch professionals! A few years ago my wife and I pulled the trigger on a home with a pool. The pool was originally installed in the late 80s and as I've come to find out, was painted black in true 80s style. Over the years, the prior homeowners repainted time and time again. With peeling, chalking and bubbling in full effect, it was time for a change.
I looked around town for various solutions and came back to the only company that made sense. Pearl. My sales rep, Mark Bailey, offered up suggestions to not only improve the interior of the pool but other ideas on a full blown renovation as the backyard was overgrown and in need of some love. My wife and I hired another contractor last summer to remove an outdated water feature, redo the pool deck, coping, etc.
Mark was a pleasure to work with. This year Pearl put forward another rockstar, Mitch Larriva, to get the project moving and knocked out in time for swim season. We had some things to work through with the way the coping was installed by the other contractor (not Pearl's doing) but Mitch explained our options, presented pricing and upon sign off, led the team to execute the job to completion.
The day before the plaster was scheduled to be applied (on a Thursday), I unexpectedly had to be out of town for 3 days. Knowing there is a 28 day curing process for the plaster which requires daily chem checks/adjustments & brushing, I contacted Mitch to see if he knew anyone to help over the weekend. He personally stepped up and offered to help.
He came daily, adjusted chem levels, brushed and sent me texts with the updates. While I didn't catch the names of all the guys on site throughout the process, another Pearl all-star, Chris Bigley, stopped by to prep the site the day before the plaster install. He has been working in the field for 20+ years and was a pleasure to get to know.another example of Pearl's superior lineup. Strong start, excellent planning and execution, strong finish. Well done Pearl!

Pearl Pool Plastering, LLC is awesome! Our condiminium pool required replastering and Chris Bigley responded to my request for quote promptly and provided a very thorough proposal at a reasonable price. After signing of the contract, Chris remained on as the project manager and kept me fully informed regarding performance and schedule. There were no cost overruns and the quality of the work is excellent. Many thanks to Chris and the team at Pearl for a job well done.

Evan and Mitch were an absolute pleasure to work with. We were on a tight deadline and when I contacted Mitch he quickly got me in contact with the PM- Evan who was calling me to schedule an appointment within 24 hours and was at my house within 3 days. When he said he would come, he came. When I called or texted with a question- he quickly put our mind at ease with a quick response.
We are so happy and pleased with this top notch customer attention. We appreciate everything you did, and how fast you all work! Highly recommend Evan! You will not be disappointed.

I have used Scott and Pearl on many jobs in the past and I refer Pearl to my freinds and family. Most recently Pearl completed a job for me in Havre de Grace, a little bit outside of their normal service area. They communicated very well through the entire process, were timely and kept to their schedule, kept my backyard clean during the remodel work, (replaced my tile, coping, wet edge plaster and light replacement) and the finished product was delivered on time and exceeded my expectations. True professionals throughout the project and could not be happier.

We used Pearl for our pool remodeling at our second home just outside of Raleigh and was very pleased. The team was great to work with and we are very pleased with the final project. I absolutely love our Wet Edge tile and new coping they put in. We can't wait to show off our beautiful pool in the spring--too cold to swim now. : Service: Remodeling

I used Pearl to re-plaster my pool using the Wet Edge Technologies product. I selected the Primera Stone in Sapphire Treasure. I'm at day 16 after filling and there's still a lot of care being taken to make sure the plaster cures properly and the finish is as intended. SO far so good. The Pearl people know a lot about the approach and what to watch out for.
This is no trivial project. Be sure you understand what you're getting in to. Pearl seems to be among the more qualified. They also did a very nice job replacing all of the trim tile, added new travertine around the perimeter which turned out very nice. They fixed 4 cracks in the pool which is why I started this project. I can tell it's not leaking any more. I'm looking forward to seeing the pool this summer.
