Reputation for excellent communication, quality construction and outstanding customer service. I was very impressed by BDM Remodeling, and especially it's founder, Bret Mellen. Bret came to my home to provide an estimate on the repair of my leaky shower. To provide an accurate estimate, Bret provided what he called "exploratory surgery", which involved removing the shower door and the top of the shower curb. After he performed the "surgery", he explained why the leak was happening, and what he could do to repair it.

This company is not reputable at all they wanted me to subscribe monthly to their company, which I have no use for the next thing I know from A ratings of my company to F ratings after I told them my company has a business account with penske for all our truck needs we are insured and bonded that wasn't good enough for BBB. If you are not monthly subscriber they find everything to tarnish your image. Wale Ay moving company llc. Atlanta ga.

BBB was no help! I recently bought 3 -3000 gallon black water tanks from Home Depot. They were green & black one all marked different prices. After a hour the manager said they were all the same price. 2 hrs after our purchase we were told by voicemail a refund would be given due to the green were already sold & the blacks one were a different. Bottom line the tanks we purchased are still sitting there today @ the management quote & took our money for the price agreed upon.
We need the tanks that we payed for not a refund. I guess unethical business practices are OK for Home Depot & BBB. 6/22/2022 Have contacted your office several times & left numerous messages concerning my cases & as today no one has been in touch. So I stand by original comment "That unethical business practices are ok for HOME DEPOT & BBB " I really don't know how much more documentations you needed. June Edney

I went to Career Pro Dunwoody location. I'm happy to leave a favorable report. I received the best resume ever via Mr. Jody Gothard @ Career Pro. I liked the many options that I had to choose from. Gone are the days of the one page resume. My resume is a shining example of my vast experiences. I've never had a resume that is so well done. I will definitely stand out amongst the rest. Mr. Gothard is a former journalist, and it shows in his focus of getting it right.
I'm also getting assistance with my interviewing skills, and thank you notes. Career Pro Resumes is the complete resume service. I'm extremely satisfied with my resume. I'm sure I'm going to land my next position, with the help of Mr. Jody Gothard and Career Pro Resumes.

I have tried to work with a business through the BBB. The customer never answered the question and kept saying they didn't get my attachments I was adding to the complaint. I attached them every time. This BBB is of no help and they are more for businesses than people! They closed the issue when the business never saw the documents and never truly provided me what was needed! Just don't bother!

The Better Business Bureau is an antiquated concept. The Bureau is basically just a figure head that collects money from businesses and does not do much of anything to advocate or protect the businesses it reaps money from, nor does it really do anything at all to work on behalf of consumers. I don't know if it use to be more take action oriented. but, it's certainly out to pasture now.
I've been on both the consumer side and the business side and have been equally disappointed from both vantage points. Get better or get out. The BBB needs to reevaluate its role in the communities and stop just pushing papers.

I used to think the BBB was very credible; now not so much. They only accept you and accredit your company if you pay an astronomical percentage of your companies revenue. If you don't, you are not BBB accredited. Also if you don't pay, they only show negative reviews and also the complaints. It does not matter how many positive reviews we have received on there NONE are showing up and have not at all. Do not trust them, trust Google and Glassdoor reviews. This company has changed over the years and I am not impressed.

We had paid for a three year contract with Choice Home Warranty not paying for their vendors, which resulted in a vendor threatening to place a lien on our home even though we had paid our service fee. We didn't know this was possible. They got right on it, and provided all the information for the NJ BBB, Trust Bank and NJ Attorney General's office. We were able to get the vendor paid and receive reimbursement for work not completed.

I'm a business owner that's been an A+Accredited member of the BBB for my various businesses over the last 20 years. In the beginning, the organization was a great source for consumers to check out companies before doing business with them. They were known for being resourceful in resolving issues with companies (including my own) through arbitration rather than through litigation.
We always felt that the BBB was fair and balanced in their resolution methods for both the consumer and the business. But in the last few years it's become more about paying them to become and stay A+ Accredited. There is no process for a customer review (good or bad) to be responded to by the business publicly. There's also no process to verify if the person leaving their review is even a customer of our company in the first place.
Recently someone who was never a customer of our business left a completely false review of an experience that never happened. The BBB not only published it on our file but didn't allow us to reply. In addition, customers can't file a complaint and a negative review against a company. This makes no sense. We take our reputation seriously and we take seriously the level of care and service we provide to our customers.
Being an accredited member of the BBB has now become a liability to our reputation. We're leaving the BBB and explaining why on our site and social media. Speaking of social media, if you want to get a company's attention and a response, use social media. The days of the BBB being both a great consumer and business advocate are in the past. Ironically, the BBB will have an opportunity to reply to my honest feedback because Google knows what they're doing.
