I wanted to add a half bath and some fencing for my house, so I put the project on Angie's list. Raymond Key called me to setup an estimate for the work I wanted. They said they had appointment available the next day. I gladly agreed to it and took time off work to meet them. An hour before the appointment time the person who was supposed to do the estimate called me.
He then asked questions about my project and said my project wasn't big enough for them. If they had the decency to come in person and do the estimate they called me to schedule I would have been fine. The dismissive attitude I experienced was the worst part. The company reached out to me not the other way around. It was a waste of my time and money as I took off work to meet them. If that is how unprofessional they are from the start I can't imagine how it would go down hill from there.

Raymond Key built a beautiful sunroom addition to my house. I showed him drawings of what I wanted and listed specific things I wanted included. The only changes he made, after discussing them with me, were excellent improvements to my design. He dealt with an issue with a subcontractor and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I am very happy with the job he did and recommend him.

Yes I agree with the first review. I also was a subcontractor and Raymond will pay you on your first draw or second but after that good luck collecting your money. A job we did for him the steel people who put the frame of the building up came and retrieved all the excess pieces of steel because of not being paid. His superintendent lock the gate so they could not get out.
My company had stone for the parking lot coming in and the trucks could not get in or out. This guy is a piece of work. If offered work from his business run away as fast as you can. With multiple projects with him he wound up owing 500k in unpaid pay applications. All quality work no issues. He just will not pay his subcontractors.

Raymond's company constructed a high-quality sunroom addition for our house, which we are very pleased with. The final product exceeded our expectations in terms of workmanship and appearance. However, the entire process stretched to 8 months due to unforeseen zoning delays and winter weather.
Initially, Raymond provided a reasonable estimate, but it did not include costs for obtaining a variance, despite my repeated inquiries before signing the contract. Eventually, Raymond successfully navigated a challenging zoning case for us, but the fees I ultimately paid, compounded by inflation charges, were unexpected and frustrating.
Raymond did not adjust his initial estimate to account for the zoning issues that arose, which influenced my decision to rate the experience four stars. Despite these setbacks, Raymond was accommodating with changes we requested during construction, demonstrating flexibility.
In summary, while we are delighted with the final sunroom addition and appreciate Raymond's craftsmanship and flexibility, the prolonged timeline and unexpected costs left us somewhat dissatisfied.
