When they show up, they do decent work, difficult to get them back for rework, I had them stain a deck last summer and it peeled off over the winter, they did return to restrain but neglected to sand down all the peeled stain, looks pretty bad, needed sanding and a second coat but they never got back to complete the job, not sure what we'll see next spring after the snow melts.

Our house, located on the east side of Madison, vicinity of Olbrich Park, was painted by Warden & Sons during the summer of 2015. They did a good job scraping and prepping the siding, and the final exterior paint was good quality work. They also did some minor repair work to our soffits, and fixed a damaged gutter. They were not able to install a new screen door correctly, so it had to be removed and done over. I would feel confident using this company for painting, but not for installing doors.

Warden & Sons did a very nice job plastering and painting our living room walls and ceiling. They did a good job repairing the many cracks in our plaster considering we have an older home with walls that are no longer perfectly square or flat. They also replaced an old tiled ceiling with drywall and then taped, plastered and painted. Also did excellent work. However, I'm only giving them 3 stars because they did a poor job installing the crown molding in the living room.

This was because the ceiling wasn't perfectly level. However, I paid quite a bit and they should of had the expertise to do this without leaving a big gap in a very visible location - above our fireplace.
