They came out charged us $150 and determined that they had to cable the home from the roof. Advised that it would be a cost an additional $300 for two people to perform the roof cabling. $450 for a maintenance cabling is outrageous. We had another company come out, one person, who did it in 1.25 hours. We saved a significant amount of money.

I called tope plumbing a month ago because we needed a broken sewer line repaired and another line cleared. I was told 3-4 business days to receive a quote and given an email to send the images from the building inspector to. I made follow up calls after one week.and then 2 weeks. and finally today. Each time I was told that I could expect a bid, soon.
Today I received an email stating simply "I recommend Finch Plumbing. Thanks." I am in the service industry and if we aren't interested in a job or are booked out several weeks, we typically let the customer know rather than stringing them along for a month and then sending them to a competitor. This has also caused us to push back our closing date on the building purchase.

We have been dealing with clogging for months & misdiagnoses. Tope came out & finally properly diagnosed a 100% blockage at the trap, scoped from source to house and to main. Dan was incredibly respectful, calm, communicative throughout, gently knocking on door to give updates & being respectful of distancing from me & my 1 year old during this pandemic. His co-worker Kyle deftly dug, & they made a good team. They both a kind attitude--honestly, not what I've experienced with other companies. Highly recommend!

A lateral sewer line blockage was detected at my house, so my municipality brought in Tope to do the repair work after verifying the issue and that it was covered by municipal property insurance. Tope was beyond prompt at contacting me and getting in to do the work, which was multi-staged. All of their employees were both competent and helpful, willing to take time to explain each step of the process and ensure that it was done fully and well, with minimal mess along the way.
After having to deal with other plumbing / drain companies while trying to identify the problem, I'm even more appreciative of Tope's knowledge and commitment to great work, all the way to using their own employees to come over a period of weeks to settle the soil over my new sewer cleanout access (in my yard) and install sod when it's done. Have already recommended them to others and told the city about their great work.

We first called Roto Rooter who told us that we had a collapsed or broken lateral line under the house and it would be at least $7,000 to fix it. I called Tope for a second opinion and Allen came out and did a hydroflush that solved the problem for $300. I am so impressed with Tope and thankful for their professionalism and expertise. They saved us a ton of money and unnecessarily tearing up our yard. I will continue to use Tope for all plumbing needs: everyone we've worked with from Tope has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

We asked for a bid to repair our sewer line, and they sent an initial estimate that did not cover the requested scope of work. I told them this and that were not in contention, and they offered to come out and re-camera our line, which they performed and it went well. However, they never followed up with a bid after 3.5 weeks. I called and emailed several times to request the estimate, and there was no response.
This is highly unprofessional and tells me Tope does not actually care about helping its customers resolve their concerns. Top is non-responsive and fails to respond professionally to a complaint or unsatisfied customers, and that's how they'll treat you too.

The technician was prompt, but not very customer service oriented. He found the problem and told me what not to do again. (Just like that. ) He then left what he pulled out of the sewer drain in my front yard. 15 feet from the trash can. I called the office to ask if this was normal practice. I received a call back apologizing, but stating I would need to clean up the mess myself because the technician was too busy to return. WOW! Not only was this unsanitary, but also very unprofessional.

Technician knocked a drain pipe out of place during an inspection. Left the drain leaking, didn't put it in his report. Luckily this was in the report of the general home inspector. The office put me through to the tech, who said he did it but anyone would have. Refused to fix the damage. At the end of the day this company left my plumbing in worse condition than they found it and will not make it right.

I contacted Tope Sewer to scope the sewer line in a house I was planning to buy. The technician arrived early and was very professional. He spent a couple hours looking everything over and making sure I knew what everything meant. He left me with a complete write up as well as a DVD with the entire footage of the camera. In addition, he marked everything off in the yard. I rarely write reviews, but this service was above and beyond. I highly recommend them!

Technician arrived on time and explained the procedures to identify the the problem with the lateral sewer line and went to work. After identifying the problem, he explained how he would open the drain. Everything was recorded on video and he played it to show how the drain was opened and made sure he answered all of my questions. Everything was upfront and they never tried to up-sell services A company with two R's in the name came out twice and charged $393. and the pipe wasn't opened / repaired.

We have used Tope twice in the past three years to clean out tree roots in our drain. Both times the technicians were great. They were very thorough and explained everything to us and even gave us tips on how to prevent the growth of the roots. I've used other companies in the past for this work and Tope is by far the least expensive with the by far the best quality of work.
