Customer Service is Key - Before reading this review, please be advised that I was never able to contract with this business to do the job as they didn't respond to my request for an itemized breakdown of the work. Via email, I requested a quote for the demolition and removal of a 16x20 shed and advised that the shed had electricity running to it.
I also asked for the availability of the company to be able to do the work. 0My first response from the company was that I needed to disconnect the electricity myself (no problem), but no quote. I said, "No worries, I will have the electricity disconnected, and can I get a quote for the work?" I received a quote that seemed moderately expensive, without itemization, but it did state that it was for equipment, labor, and that seeding and straw would be provided.
I asked for an itemized breakdown excluding seeding and straw as another structure would be replacing the existing structure. I never received a response. Our last correspondence was 3 days ago. I guess I was wrong in thinking that if you rattle off a price, the method of deriving that price would have been readily available.

I was at this company but looks that the administration do not take care responsible about who are theirs employees because some of those are not doing right they do not follow company rules, they do not treat fair those that mostly have lack of foreign language, and this action, not just put this company in a bad position inclusively it is in a low level of professionalism.

I dealt with Amber Sasser and she was amazing! She was kind, patient and very easy to communicate with. She handled herself in a professional manner and represented RJ Smith very well. If I could give less than one star I would. I have never seen a MORE dishonest, or rude person to do business with! Never returns phone calls, emails or text messages regarding work he said we would be first in the season for. Or if he does it is when the time is convenient for him. He had one year to complete the job and kept postponing his arrival, of course with no response to any attempts from us to contact him. We have had enough and hired a Real Company that will get the job done in 2 days! Be aware of this man's work ethic or lack there of!

This is a superior product ladies and gentlemen. Most of the other guys our there selling crushed concrete are selling cheap. Pieces that aren't uniform, tons of fines even in the larger grades like 57s and 3s and worst of all, chunks of metal and wood. I turned a truck away from another guy because of those issues. Rj Smith is different. The product is clean and almost indistinguishable from gravel and completely free of metal.
I just got 20 tons and it was perfect. The driver who delivered my load was able to perfectly tailgate dump my load, making my work extremely simple. I can't recommend these guys enough.
