After meeting with Tim both virtually and in person, he and his firm ghosted us. After two months and multiple outreaches, he said he was too busy. That's it. Would not recommend-find someone else. **To your response: Leaving us hanging was your conscience decision not some coincidence of events. Two weeks to respond to the review but nearly three months ghosting us on a job bid says something.

Sweeney did a fantastic job with our basement remodel. They were responsive, thorough, and our basement turned out great. Ryan in particular was pleasant to work with and had a remarkable attention to detail. They were particularly attentive to safety during covid as well. This remodel went as well as a home remodeling project can go.

Tim Sweeney helped us determine alternatives and helped guide us in exploring the viability of options and solutions to the goals we wished to accomplish in a renovation/addition to our home with the City of Madison. Its been through Tim's years of experience, client forward approach, relationship with city officials that we were able to make the hard decision that our lot would be to difficult to reasonably accomplish some priority goals we had set while doing the early planning work with Tim. Straight, Honest, Customer Focused and working for our best interest are the take away from Tim Sweeney and Sweeney Design Remodel Contractors.

Received initial evaluation from Tim. He's approachable and trustworthy, and really helps you understand how he's thinking about a project. We live in Dubai and are considering remodeling a rental property from abroad - after meeting Tim he's definitely someone I would trust with the job!

Sweeney Design did a wonderful job on our home. We were nervous about remodeling because of a previous bad experience with a different builder. Sweeney listened to all of our concerns and communicated timely and accurately to us the project expectations. Our project was roughly 2800 SF which included a master bedroom suite addition and finishing our basement. Patrick, the lead carpenter, and the rest of the field team were a pleasure to have in our house and respectful of keeping the work area tidy.

The quality and detail of their work is very good. Our project manager, Lane, was always attentive to our questions or needs. We were regularly briefed on the project schedule and anything that arose during the construction process. We cannot recommend Tim, Linda, and the whole Sweeney team enough!

Best damn remodeling company around. They did a spectacular job on my kitchen. I can't say enough about their professionalism. Mr Sweeney knows his stuff and their construction crew is 2nd to none.

We have used Sweeney for 3 different remodeling projects over the last ten years, and have have nothing but positive experiences. The quality of the work has been excellent and budgets have been maintained. Unlike the typical contractor, Sweeney doesn't try to lowball an initial bid and then get it back by submitting numerous change orders. Plus they are a pleasure to work with!

Since my arrival at the Fluno Center, Sweeney Construction has worked on several projects for us. The quality of the service they have provided as well as their professionalism has always remained high. Additionally, their pricing is more than competitive in the market. I highly recommend them for any project - big or small that you may have.

Very professional and easy to work with from estimate to completion. In fact the work (a shower renovation) was done entirely while we were on vacation. The work was for a new shower surround. They removed old glass frame/panels and door, measured for and installed contemporary surround, coordinated a plumber visit and billing, drywall repair, new base board and painting. Everything was left clean and in perfect shape upon our return home.

Sweeney recently did a full basement remodel for us. When we bought our house in 2001, we knew we would need to do major remodeling. We first worked with Sweeney in 2004 to gut and remodel our kitchen as well as do a refresh (new windows, siding, wood floor refinish, etc). We were so pleased with the quality and professionalism provided by Sweeney that we have since hired them to gut and remodel two bathrooms, replace all the doors, and now gut and remodel our basement. Tim Sweeney and all the Sweeney staff are great to work with, and they stand behind their work. In our experience, they do a good job of budgeting (can't blame them for our change requests!) and stick to their schedule.

We have used Sweeney for two large home projects (sunroom remodel and large exterior deck) then a great room remodel (stairs, refinishing of hardwood floors, crown molding, built in bookcases and mantle, architectural accents). We have the highest expectations for contact, professionalism, craftsmanship and work quality- Sweeney never disappoints!

We are a subcontractor and have had the pleasure of working with Sweeney Construction for many years. One thing that is particularly important in our industry is communication (from scope of work to expectations to scheduling) - and Sweeney does an excellent job. They are one of the most professional and personable contractors we partner with. Some customers you really enjoy working with and Tim and his entire crew are definitely at the top of that list!
