I'm blown away at Dericks knowledge with an insurance claim. I was scared and worried at first but he truly made everything seamless and made it an amazing experience. It's hard to put into words my experience working with Derek Hihn and the rest of the crew from KP roofing. My first conversation with Derek and explaining to him what was going on with my house. He immediately asked me if I trusted him that KP roofing could get the job done. He said above and beyond my expectations. Not knowing absolutely anything about Derek or KP roofing, but thank God I went with my instinct and stepped out on FAITH.
When Derek said he would handle everything and I didn't have to do anything he was good at the words. He spoke on my behalf with the insurance company, with others that involved my home and I didn't have to do anything. KP roofing went way above and beyond my expectations. All the staff were very friendly, more than willing to assist me, very professional, and their work to my house is amazing.
They gave me way more than what was expected. This is one company definitely TRUE to they're word. I will continue telling people if you need a great roofing company KP roofing is by far the BEST.

I worked with Derick Hihn to replace some Aluminum Fascia Trim which had blown off during the tornado in April. I called to set up the appointment for the estimation and Derick was here within 2 days to provide me with an estimation (which I was very impressed with, given there were so many other homes with damage as well). He was very prompt - arrived exactly when he said he would and called ahead of time to let me know he was headed my way & his anticipated arrival time.
I showed him where the damage was, and he went above and beyond to check around the entire home to make sure there was no other additional damage that I had overlooked. When discussing the repair, he was very detailed in explaining what all needed to be done and I didn't feel like he was ever talking over my head or being dishonest about the work that was needed.
He was very friendly, and I really appreciated his honesty and transparency. He exceeded my expectations. I recommended him to my neighbors who were also dealing with damage from the storm. In the future, if I need any other repair work done - he will be the one that I call. 10/10.

Reached out to Derick Hihn about my mother's roof damage from a storm, and ridge cap shingle off of mine. Not only did he fix my Ridge cap, he sealed some shingles, and coated some nails. I cannot say enough good things about Derick Hihn and K & P Roofing. Derick was a professional right from the start and a pleasure to work with. He helped make the process of working with our insurance company painless and seamless. Once everything was picked out and ordered his crew worked hard and had everything done in less than 2 days. His crew was professional and did an excellent job of not only the project but cleaning up afterwards and making sure all of the debris was cleared. Highly recommend

WOW! Derick and his company worked over time for over 2 years helping my condo board with a roof claim against an insurance company that was not on our side. He used videos, made numerous visits, edited reports, help us prep our attorneys, kept our board appraised of the claim, and assisted our property manager fight the insurance company. He didn't give up on us. As a realtor, who has replaced many roofs and helped clients get their roofs replaced, I can highly recommend this company.

Derick and his crew that were used were all excellent. They cleaned up the area each day they worked, were respectful when asked questions or given instructions, and finished the job on time (or even ahead of schedule). Very much would recommend this company for repairing or replacing your roof. They even took care of replacing the skylight with no issues.

He worked with the insurance to schedule the visit and made the entire process very fast and painless. When everything was scheduled, roof was replaced quickly and looks great.
