Advance Remodeling

We wanted to use Advanced Remodeling because we wanted professional quality work done. That was not the case. The contractor and his crew was very polite and did the design we asked for HOWEVER, they were late getting to the house every day, they were messy while working, they left marker visible under the paint, they only covered up furniture with plastic after we requested it and once the work was completed, it looked as though we used workers outside The Home Depot. Update: Contractor came back and completed work to our satisfaction!

Excellent service! The crew was very professional and neat. I had been concerned about having a crew in my home. Thankfully Advance Remodeling has put me at ease. Initially, I assigned them only kitchen remodeling work but after observing their working style I got so impressed that I assigned my entire home remodeling work to them and it worked out fantastically.!

The best crew I have ever come across. I called them for my bathroom remodeling and I must tell you they have an extensively experienced team. The best part is that they charged a very reasonable price for my awning.

They have an extensively experienced team who know their job very well. Their observation and measures are so well that they ordered quantity of material that there was no wastage of money and the quality of the material is also very good. I am very happy and satisfied with their work.

I hired Advance Remodeling to repair an old, deteriorating bay window. They replaced the windows, repaired and fortified the wooden framing, removed the exterior shingles, and prepared the surface for new shingles to be installed at a later date. Advance was very easy to deal with, and their pricing was very reasonable. The two-person crew did an excellent job, were very careful and attentive to what I was trying to achieve.

In particular, the crew flashed the entire lower half of the bay window to provide extra protection and give a better base for the new shingle. Overall, Advance was an excellent value for this project and I would hire them again.

I found Advance Remodelling 'way back in 2013, when they replaced the siding, insulation, gutters, downspouts and windows of my home. Recently, they built a new set of stairs to my backyard, and repaired my siding, gutters and downspouts damaged by a fallen tree. Their work through the years has been outstanding, their team amazing to work with, and their prices are reasonable. They are my go-to people forever!

Highly recommended from my side. I am so impressed with the work of Advance Remodeling that if anybody asks me about them, I would say they are the best in their field. They will always be my first preference for such work.

I was searching for a good concrete contractor for a very long time. Fortunately, one of my friends suggestedAdvance Remodelingand I contacted them and they had an estimator out within two days. Myles was great at going over options and gave me a great price.

Loved working with advance remodeling on our living room built ins. We had to give them a strict timeline, and they stuck right to it. We are so happy with the end result. They were great to work with when we had to figure out a design, as well as all the steps afterward. They were up front and honest, great with advice, etc. Would definitely recommend!

We first called to replace some windows in our living room that were leaking. Once Advance Remodeling came out and started work, we discovered that the job was far more than just replacing windows. We had extensive rot and termite damage all around the area of the windows. Due to improper construction when the house was built in 2008, water had been flowing under the siding from the roof over the porch since the house was built.

What was going to be a 4-day job stretched to about 4 weeks total, spread over a 3-month period. They had to pull virtually all the siding off one side of the house and replace much of the framing and sheathing. In addition, they had to take off some of the shingles from the roof over the porch to fix the design problem that was sending water under the siding in the first place.

Their crew was always punctual, professional, cleaned up after themselves, explained the work to us all along the way, and did not hesitate to flex their schedule when we realized we had a greater problem than anticipated.

Being the owner of a painting company, I have learned how important it is to find a reliable and honest General Contractor. I have had experiences with the worst there is, and then I discovered Advance Remodeling. If you are looking for someone that you can trust, won't steel your money and will give you perfection, then hire the crew from Advance Remodeling.

Requested estimate on website. they called back and said that they do not work with Insurance companies. Ok that was fine not a big deal. They did offer financing. Tried setting up an appointment for 5 days away. They first said they should be able to do something on that day. Then was put on a brief hold. Lady comes back to phone and says that they will not be able to do the work until my insurance pays out to me first and they offer financing.

Ok not a big deal. Then she said that the estimator will not leave a break down of the estimate with me it would just be the flat fee. I told them that they sounded like they were to difficult with. At that point told them don't worry about it I will find someone else to work with because they are being to difficult to work with. If they don't do break downs how am I to compare their estimate to other companies estimate. So working with Advanced Remodeling NO THANK YOU.

0 zero stars! This company is horrible! My husband and I have had at least 8 appointments with advanced remodeling. The first 2 appointments were canceled by them. The third appointment someone came out but refused to even look at the basement because my husband was not home after he pushed the time up and was still late. Every appointment after that they rescheduled either the day before or the same day. It got to the point we agreed to the next appointment just because and even forgot they were coming until they called to reschedule yet again. Very Unprofessional!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Advance Remodeling Inc. pulled my credit report without my authorization. Which has placed a hard inquiry on my credit report decreasing my score I requested a quote for services by Advance Remodeling 10/14/19 to have work done in the basement of my home. An employee by the name of Tom Turner came to my home, analyzed what I wanted to have done, and gave me a price of $1900.00.

I advised him that I would be paying cash for the service. He advised that I would have to put one third down, which was $633.33, the other $633.33 at the time of the service, and the remainder after the service was completed and i was completely satisfied. I agreed and gave him a check for $633.33. At no point did I reference I would like to apply for credit for this service.

I was notified by email on October 16th that there was a new inquiry on my credit report. I quickly called the company to advise them this was correct and I did not apply for financing nor did I give them authorization to pull my credit report. The person I spoke with Deglel Wesley advised that I supplied my social security number in which I did not.

I never signed any information that required to have a social security number listed. He also explained that Thomas Turner was supposed to disclose this information, in which he did not. After speaking with Deglel, I then called Thomas Turner and told him the information that Deglel explained and advised him that he knew I would be paying cash for the service. Thomas Turner did not even know the owner (Deglel) name and said all he does is turn in the paperwork.

I also informed Thomas that he gave false information about the wall I wanted service on to be load bearing, which it was not. Thomas Turner did not supply me with copies of any papers that I signed, he did not give me correct information regarding the process, he also recommended someone on the side to do the job at a much cheaper rate. I visited the office October 17th to cancel any doings with this company and still reiterated the fact that they did not have authorization to inquire my credit report.

I was given a carbon paper with the cancellation terms and a check for the amount of $633.33. I asked for copies of all of my paperwork, including the paper I supposedly put my social security number on and Deglel advised that there was none and that it was a mistake. I have left a complaint with the BBB, that probably will not solve the problem. I have to take away a lesson learned from this experience.

I hope you all can sleep great at night knowing you all are not truthful.***UPDATE REVIEW 11/24/19*** The BBB closed my complaint on this matter because they claimed I received a refund for my downpayment, HOWEVER because I canceled all doings with them INCLUDING a STOP PYMT on that check, they ACTUALLY STILL TRIED TO CASH IT! I was just not fast enough to cash theirs. please see BBB complaint history attached.

I shouldn't be surprised bc this is how our democracy works. The law is on the company's side. Very bothersome to see that the company is doing the same thing to others and nothing can be done about it. But I will do everything in my power to persuade consumers by exercising my voice. With enough support this company will not be in business much longer.

Totally unprofessional company. A week ago we called them to schedule an appointment to get a quote on remodeling our basement. They scheduled us for Tuesday at 9AM. Exactly at 9AM they called us to confirm both of the owners of the house, me and my husband, would be present for the appointment. My husband and I are two professionals with full time jobs.

I asked Advanced Remodeling why exactly had they not mentioned that when we schedule the meeting. So we had to reschedule for the following day, on Wednesday between 5-7PM, so both of us could leave work early and be at the home for the appointment. At 5PM they called me to confirm the appointment, and I mentioned we were ready at home waiting for them. 1.5 hours later, they call me again apologizing, and cancelling the appointment because they did not have anyone available to come inspect our home. They could have confirmed that at 5PM! Made us waste our time with their irresponsible character! Do not recommend at all!

I understand their policy now, my wife and I wasn't that cool with it at first but a policy is a policy. The young lady had to explain it to us why it was important for me and my wife to be at the estimate. She had explained she had been there over 20 years and the policy has never changed. It does make a lot of sense to explain everything to both parties one at the same. We had our work done, and we are very satisfied with the outcome. Keep up with the work, Advanced Remodeling.

We used Advance Remodeling, after doing plenty of research, and are glad we did. They did an excellent job The whole crew was amazing! They were incredibly responsive, easy to deal with, and their costs were totally reasonable. All of them were hardworking and so quick. You don't have to worry about any of your stuff. Very satisfied with the services!
