We had gutters installed from a different company and they were not working right. We had Ruff Roofers come out and they looked at the system and gave us their honest evaluation which we could use to go back and get the other company to admit they did it wrong. They came out to take measurements. It was quick and easy, I didn't have to do anything. Couple days after measuring the crew came out and installed the gutters. Everyone was very professional and nice. I got the new gutters because mine were leaking at the seams and I didn't like the slant along the front porch. They took notes during the measurements and when they installed the gutters it was a noticeable improvement. I would definitely recommend Ruff Roofers.

Requested quote. Sent them my plans for metal roof project. Said they would get quote in a week or so. Never received it. Their "QA" person emailed me asking if I received the quote and how it went. Told them I never got it. They did not respond either. Been 6 weeks at this point. Would not hire them at this point even if they did send the quote due to poor communication. If they were not interested in the job or too busy, should have the decency to say so.

We love the design and construction of our total home renovation of a 1979 ranch done 10 years ago, except for the roof. Despite its being only 10 years old, the roof leaked and gutters overflowed from improper installation. We obtained several estimates from Baltimore area well-regarded roofers, and chose Ruff for a total replacement. Their communication and customer-centric values were immediately apparent.

This was one of the best customer service experiences that I've ever had. They were thorough, comprehensive and responsive. I'm really big on responsiveness. They responded to all of my emails, and within 24 hours. Derek Black was excellent! The quality of my shingles is very good. This is the company who put on the new roofs for my small townhouse development in the city. Every time it rains there is a swimming pool on my rooftop deck because they didn't build it correctly. It doesn't have enough pitch. When I registered it to be fixed (structural issue) "Vern, " one of the managers in the company lied to my face, standing on my deck, and told me that standing water on your flat roof for 4 to 5 days is "normal" and meets code." Do I look like an idiot?

Finally they agreed to fix it and only did a third of what was agreed to and left. The builder is going with an entirely different company now because these guys are so bad. Beware!

My roof was leaking during heavy rain and needed a repair. They were able to come out for a site visit 2 days later. The estimator, Nick, was very friendly and stated he would have a quote in 2-3 days. 11 days, and 3 follow up phone calls to the office later, still nothing. I figure they lost interest since it is a small project but I would have liked to know one way or another that they would not quote the project.

Didn't expect much. wasn't disappointed. I wanted to get an estimate for replacing the roof on my house. Someone calling themselve " Mike " set up an appointment. Morning of the appt, he leaves a message on my answering machine. " can't make the appt. sorry '. Calls a little later and promises to be out in an hour or so. Calls again and says ' somethings are more important than you. I'll swing by later.

Later never comes. haven't heard from him since. A few days later, I get a quality assurance call from Ruff Roofers saying they know I asked for an estimate. Well, when I told them it was a no go, that their employee wasted a day of me hanging around the house waiting for him not to show up. the people on the other end of the line said. ' thanks' and hung up. Not impressed at all with this business. Signed a contract with Rebuild in Columbia. much better service.and good prices too!

I've called today to request a estimate and the young lady who received my call was professional and courteous. She said an estimator would be calling in 1 hour!

I used Ruff Roofers for our roofing job two years ago. They also replaced our skylights. I was so please with the work I hired them again. Recently the fascia on the front of our house was damaged in a wind storm. Called them and within a week the job was done! Great company and great people. Thank you Ruff Roofers!

I hope there work is better then there customer service. They were scheduled to do chimney repairs at our condo. I called and told Amy I wanted a cost for them to do additional work while they were here. She said she would get a cost and call me back on Thursday. I never heard back from her on Thursday and on Friday I called and left 3 messages for her to call me.

Again I never heard back from her. On Monday I called 2 times and left messages and again I never heard back from her. Here it is Tuesday and they are here doing the repairs and I still have not received a call back. As I said I hope there work is better then there customer service.

I'm sure that they do excellent work, but their estimate was significantly higher than the other estimates that we received. Very expensive. Edit: Apparently there was a mis-communication. We ended up going with Ruff Roofers. They did a great job and our roof doesn't leak anymore.

Haven't had work done yet but Emily was kind and knowledgable and said they would set up a consult right away. She assured me if it wasn't something they could help with they would connect me with a company they work closely with that would be able to do the work! Professional friendly can't wait for my estimate!

Ruff Roofers just finished my new roof today and it looks amazing!.the crew cleaned up all the debris and nails from the old roof. They finished the job in less than 12 hours. I will recommend Ruff Roofers to anyone.
