The installation crew was on time and professional. They did an excellent job. I had many questions and they took time to answer them all. I did a lot of research on HVAC systems and the most important part of the system is the installation. If it is not done right you will have problems. These guys did it right. I watched them work through out the day and I was impressed. I highly recommend them.

Came to do an initial inspection, we signed up for the service agreement. Changed a few things then said all was good. Paid 800 or so dollars. AC unit upstairs quit working 3 weeks later and came back. Told us the unit they had just inspected had a bad part, 300 dollars, then came back and said another part needed replaced, another 175. After he does the fix, tells us it's an old unit and needs replaced.
Owner refused to credit previous visits to cost of new AC, even though they had literally told us 3 weeks prior it was good. Total paid to this company is close to 7k after new AC unit install. Will choose another vendor when my agreement is over. Not sure if this is a normal way of business but good for others to know. If it's a pattern, need to make sure others are aware.

Heater went out this morning tech arrived by noon with a little finesse he got my 20 year old unit running. He was punctual, honest, and quality of work was through the roof. This is the third time I've had the pleasure of working with them and I will be using Butler to install a new unit this spring.

They were AMAZING. Had them come out for a second opinion and discovered that I was being duped by another HVAC company. My furnace was fine and if it actually DID need the repairs that the other company said I needed they would've been 1/3 the cost through Butler than what I was quoted by the other guys. I will refer everyone I know to Butler! Honest, prompt, and they explain things so you understand what they are talking about.

After purchasing my house in 2013, I called Butler 2 or 3 times for basic routine maintenance. (Being new to the area, I knew nothing about Butler - I just called the number on the sticker on my furnace, which was 17+ years old!) The bottom line is I could not be happier with a service provider! They are AMAZING! Everyone I've come in contact with are committed to their company and their customers, are caring, responsive and professional. Shawna in the Office has always been prompt, friendly, efficient and professional-just a DELIGHT! (Answers the phone late in the evening!) Scott has been to my house several times and always provides wonderful service.
He remembers me, my house and is incredibly thorough, polite, friendly and makes things easy! Fast forward to January, 2019. I called on a Monday because my furnace was acting up. Scott was there Tuesday morning and let me know what would be needed to get it up to speed. After talking through things, I came to the decision it was time to replace the entire furnace. Scott didn't try to "sell" me on anything.
He did, however, talk me through options and let me make my decision. By Thursday, I had a brand new furnace installed-the house was left immaculately clean-you couldn't tell anyone had been there! They completed the warranty paperwork for me-again, making it EASY! Go with Butler-you will not be disappointed!

Unfortunately, our furnace and water heater both broke down a couple of weeks ago. It was not surprising as both are over 22 years old. After doing some investigating we contacted Butler for a furnace repair and estimate on replacing the water heater. They arrived within two hours and were able to repair our furnace and provided a reasonable estimate for the water heater replacement. They returned first thing the next day to replace our water heater. Service was very professional and no high pressure sales, which I was very thankful for.

Butler Heating & Air came to my rescue in Jan. of 2006 when the furnace in my house died 36 hours after I moved in. The service is terrific & all the techs who have come to service my HVAC system have taken time to explain everything to me. I have the service agreement for a twice a year inspection of the equipment. I'm selling the house & found it sad to say goodbye to Scott who has always treated me with respect & great kindness. As a matter of fact, everyone working for Butler has been a joy to do business with.

I called this morning around 9:30 when I learned that our A/C quit working overnight. Our regular HVAC guy was swamped and couldn’t make it out to help. In the last several years, I retired and closed my architectural practice here in Boise, and proceeded to design our retirement dream home. About six months after completion of construction, we moved into our home, only to discover that the heating / air conditioning system installed was totally undersized by about one half. With the air conditioning running 24 hours a day, temperatures would still climb to 86 degrees.
