The exterior of our house was painted. The painting was done with careful attention to detail. But in house painting, the prep is more important than the actual painting. If you don't scrape properly, then the new paint will just adhere to the old flaking paint and you'll be repainting lots sooner than you planned. The team did a great prep job.
We opted for a somewhat more expensive paint (Sherwin Williams Duration) which we've used previously and is an excellent paint. It should make the paint job less costly in the long run as it should last longer. I recommend this team highly.

I could not be happier with the professionalism and quality of the entire Third Gen Team and the deck they built for me. I had a deck that was rotting and the ledger board was pulling away from the house. I was concerned about the structural safety of the house. Alex, the sales rep, was entirely up front and honest. I initially gave him a budget for my deck.
He then provided the choices for that budget. He did not try and "upsell" me to try and get me to buy more expensive materials. I finally had to talk him into letting me upgrade some options I wanted and assure him that I really wanted to buy a few more options than the initial number I provided! The build team was outstanding. It was clear that they took a lot of price in the high quality work they wanted to provide for the customer and also to ensure that the Third Gen company final deck product ensured that the final product was top quality. Thanks to the Third Gen Team for the outstanding service and final deck product! You could not do better than this company for building a deck.

They did a full basement remodel and We could not be happier. I was given a an amazing quote and a time line for the project. With any job there was stuff that needed to be fixed but was still barely over budget. Matt worked with me to keep us in budget which was amazing customer service as well. He kept me informed of issues and addressed issues I had immediately.
The whole crew was amazing, we love Terry from Wolfe plumbing, he is an awesome person and outstanding in is craft. Thank you to the whole 3rd Gen crew, we highly recommend and we will be using them for our bathroom remodel.

I highly recommend 3rd Gen Painting and Remodeling. We hired 3rd Gen to rebuild our deck and pergola. Matt (owner) was terrific to work with: great communication, very responsive, open and honest. Jesse (foreman) was equally great to work with. The deck and pergola exceeded our expectations! The crew was fantastic too! Everyone was very respectful of our property, they always took care to clean the work area and at the end of the project our property was left very clean. Great experience with this company, I give them my highest recommendation!

We hired 3rd Gen Painting and Remodeling to paint our upper and lower hallway, the master bedroom, and the family room, as well as ceilings. They arrived on time and ready to roll...covering wood, furniture, and flooring. The friendly crew was communicative and responded very well to my concerns about wall repair, nail pops, and edging. They worked quickly and efficiently and had the job completed inside of two days! I would definitely hire them again! Well done!

I contacted a couple of painting companies for a free estimate for painting my kitchen and living room with a high ceiling and Matt responded promptly while I didn't hear from the other company for a couple of weeks. 3rd Gen Painting and Remodeling just finished a large exterior trim painting and repair job on our home and we couldn't be happier. I can't believe how great our original door, exterior trim and very old windows came out, the before and after is amazing. From start to finish, Andre was great to work with and kept us updated as to their progress daily.
As soon as anything unforeseen arose he notified us right away and was very honest and upfront about options and pricing. The job came in on time and on budget and my home and yard were treated with tremendous care and respect throughout the job. In fact, they left it in better shape than they found it. For example, they removed deck stain that had been spilled by a different contractor on our pathway stones and painted/refurbished a very old urn as a favor to us! We are already planning to have them back to do more work for us next year and will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

When looking for a reputable contractor, at times it is difficult to determine which ones will have integrity and which ones will just feed you a bunch of empty promises. With 3rd Gen it was the former. From day one they were on time, communicated expectations clearly, and went above and beyond to live up to every promise they made. Absolutely great customer service! The biggest thing that stood out for me was how much they focused on what I wanted and made sure I understood exactly how they were going to do it. Matt was very attentive to detail and let us know every step of the way how the process was coming along. We couldn’t be happier with the results of our project. Despite many challenges created by the past deck being built poorly, they got work done in a timely and quality manner. The decks are now safe for his family and look incredible.
