I shopped several of the granite countertop dealers in the area advertising "discount" granite at $29-32 sqft. Good quality at an excellent price was my primary concern. After the dealers added on the hidden charges for sink install, hole cutting, edge profiles etc...the prices became $50-$60. Plus they exaggerated a few extra feet in their measurements.
Their discount price became outrageously high. Then like a car salesman, they would trim a little off the price in effort to sell you. Out of desperation, the last place I went was Granite Depot on Minus Ave in Garden City. Not only where they the best price but they're the easiest and straightforward to deal with. Vitaly gave me the best price right from the start. Victor came the next day and made a precise template with amazing detail.
Then that was followed by Roger and his crew who were true craftsman during the install process. They protected everything and thoroughly cleaned up when done. Everything was well communicated and done as promised and on schedule. Save yourself some time and try Granite Depot first.

Granite depot did an exceptional job providing countertops for my kitchen remodel. Total turnaround time from the day I contacted them until installed was only four days. Love our new countertops! We got Quartz countertops for our two bathrooms and kitchen. It was less than half the price compared to the other three estimates we got. Kathy was great to work with and she communicated well. She worked with us when we had to reschedule due to changes in closing on our house with no issues.
