It seems like a simple question with a simple answer, but deciding which type of access controls best suits your system's needs takes some thought and planning. Many factors have to be considered. We've successfully used Gate Options for over 20 years now! Our original referral came from our contractor. A 2 door electronic gate across the driveway allowed us to maximize the backyard, provide more privacy & offer a measure of security. A deep team of service operators - Chris, Adrian, Jeff, Lucas & Trish in the office- has translated into quick, courteous & reliable service when a problem arises.
However the quarterly service program has insured that most glitches are proactively identified, which has lead to years of solid operation for the original unit installed. Oftentimes a quick phone call for instructions leads to a resolution of minor glitches.such as "did you remember to change your batteries?!" I have never hesitated to recommend this team to friends considering the same gate options.

We went through Home Depot & requested an estimate. Kurt Crouse project manager of Peerless/Gate Options came out & was very pleasant. He gave us an estimate on 9/1/15. We got back to him 9/9/15 & had a few texts back in forth regarding price & decisions on what particular fence we wanted to use. He then said he'd get back to us but we never heard from him.
On 9/14 we contacted him via text & got no response. We again tried him on 9/16 & we got a response saying he was on his way to the doctor & would get back to us that evening. As of 11:20am 9/18 We have yet to hear back from Kurt. What a shame as we were ready to make a deal. Based on Kurt's lack of professionalism (even if there were a personal issue I would think he would pass this job onto a co-worker) we are VERY disappointed in this company.
I called Home Depot & asked if they do business with any other company & they told me they do not. Basically it was a "Sorry to hear you're having trouble, you may want to contact another company" response. REALLY? Time to look elsewhere.
