VanVleet is the BEST! Chris managed our stamped concrete patio, deck, and gutter project perfectly from design to final inspection. The finished product he gave us enhanced our lifestyle and outdoor enjoyment more than we imagined. Chris helped us create the perfect design, select the best products and colors, gave us options we didn't know we had, created a concept sketch, and handled all the permits and inspections. Chris' team moved our outdoor faucet to give us a bigger deck and when he heard there was a leak he was right back out and fixed it. Chris creatively worked with us to run our gutters through a culvert underneath our stamped patio to a drain tube to avoid running an exposed gutter spout over the top of our patio.

Just look at all that wood they used on our subframe to our deck! If they wanted to cut corners they would have surely done it where it couldn't be seen, but that's where they doubled down! And check out how they plumbed the garage downspout precisely to the rain barrel my wife wanted near our garden. Once I knew who Chris was I actually ran into him at our local grocery store.

So Chris isn't the guy who's going to skip town as soon as he gets your money, he's more like your nextdoor neighbor. These guys did an amazing job on our teardown/rebuild of our old deck earlier this year. Any issue that came up, Chris took care of it. They worked hard, were very professional, and the entire experience was great from start to finish. We went from an old 8'x10' deck to 10'x22' and he got the job done just under our budget. Chris was delightful to work with. He really listened to how we use our deck and accommodated our wishes. He and his crew were terrific! I've never seen a more diligent team of workers. They do it right and they get it done fast. Chris was the only person who looked at it who was able to figure out how the water damage was actually happening in my bathroom. Even the insurance adjuster missed it! I also appreciate that Chris and his team worked to save me money, e.g. keeping the original bathroom vanity when we determined it was still usable. This was an unplanned expense, so the ability to work with GreenSky was a big plus, too.

Working with Chris VanVleet was AMAZING! We had a 25 or 30 year old rotting, 3 tier deck that needed to be demolished and replaced. Chris spent almost 2 hours with us, going over the new deck plan I had drawn up, and suggested some changes that would allow us to have a larger deck, and still stay within our budget. Our new deck is almost 10 feet above ground.

The stairs go down to a 4x4 landing, and then make a 90 degree turn, and end up directly in front of our gate. The deck is beautiful, and rock solid. Chris and Darian were polite and professional throughout the entire project. He made sure that all of our needs were met, and gladly accomodated us on some last minute changes. Chris is a man of great integrity, and a hard worker, and we will be hiring him for future remodeling projects.

They were great at getting rid of our ice dams. They were able to come out the next morning and did a great job.

We converted our wood deck to composite. We have told many people about our deck and will continue to do so.! Chris did a fantastic job, listened to what we wanted and gave us ideas on things we didn't think about! He has a great eye for detail! We have been enjoying our deck every day! These guys did an awesome job! Did necessary repairs needed to fix a leak in our roof, and put down new shingles. Very professional and competitively priced too. And best of all no more leaks!

The first thing that comes to mind when talking about VanVleet Construction is integrity. Chris pointed out a situation that occurred when they were placing the footings to my awesome new deck. Honestly, I would not have noticed had he not said anything. Chris worked with me and made sure I was happy with the correction. Integrity is such a hard thing to find but I value it.

The second thing that comes to mind is craftsmanship. The deck Chris built was 12 by 20 and is about 10-12 feet high with a single staircase down to our patio. It is not a cookie cutter deck and they take their time to do it right. They do not fib when they say their decks are built like a tank. With how high the deck is their is minimal movement and feels solid as Chris makes sure the support structure is solid.

I could go on about all the compliments and other items I like about the deck but VanVleet's customer service is excellent and I will be a life long customer. If your looking for someone who is trust worthy and is going to do the job right call VanVleet Construction.

Chris had some great ideas for my kitchen remodel. They did a great job and didn't leave a mess for me to clean up when they left. He kept me informed the whole way through.

VanVleet Construction added gutters and heat tape to roof and gutters. This was on a townhome and had to match color and look "right" because of the other units. Also had to be careful with ladders and materials on main part of balcony/work area with "soft" roof. They also replaced a rotted windowsill and matched it perfectly. The quality of work was excellent while being careful about the things I mentioned above. Very pleased.

VanVleet Construction raised a gas fireplace and built a hearth for us and we couldn't have asked for better, quicker work to be done. We were very pleased.

Chris and team did an awesome job putting a new deck on the back of our house. The craftsmanship is top notch and we've already had a few neighbors ask for his contact information so they can get an estimate.

Chris also made sure that the deck would be finished by the agreed upon date, despite losing a few days to bad weather.

I want to thank VanVleet for the excellent job they did on the ice dam on my roof in Derby, NY (heart of the snow belt with a 7' snowfall last winter). The ice dam was more than a foot thick and was starting to trickle water in the house over 9' of rubber on the roof. The workers came in and did a fast job that immediately eliminated the water problems.

The entire dam was gone within 2 hours using their steam. The guys were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The cost was very reasonable. I give them 5 "thumbs up" in addition to 5 stars!

We’re first time home buyers, and one morning woke up with ice dams leaking in every corner of our house. Not only did chris talk me off a ledge, but in hours he had a crew out to remove our ice dams. The leaks have stopped and if that wasn’t enough, he went to bat our insurance company and we’re now on the road to recovery. Can’t say enough about our experience. Thank you Chris!!
