Contacted Sunshine Roofing about one, potentially two roof leaks. Rene sent his Technician out that afternoon to investigate the source of the leak. The location of the leak was discovered, and a crew arrived at 8:30AM the following morning to make the necessary repairs. I contacted at least half a dozen roofing companies before finding Sunshine Roofing.
Many of the companies I contacted never even bothered to return my call. Those that did, said it would be about a week before they could send someone out to diagnose the problem - even though I told them water was coming in from the ceiling. I'm very glad I contacted Sunshine Roofing, and grateful for their prompt response and subsequent repair of the leak. Thank you to Rene and his crew! Highly recommend!

I can't recommend Sunshine highly enough. Over the last 3 years they have done so much work for me. It started with roof leaks. They showed up on time and are extremely reliable & professional. Always a great job. When it came time for a complete roof replacement, I hired Sunshine. They did a great job and I couldn't be happier. The crew was clean, prompt and always showed up. I have referred them to all my clients and neighbors. Everyone I know who have used them has had the same great results.

Last February 2019 we received a quote from Rene Jaimes of Sunshine Roofing and General Contracting Inc. for a roof repair and a quote for roof replacement of our condominium in Century Village, WPB. They were able to come that same day and they fixed the roof at a lower price than the other quote we'd had, the other quote didn't even respond until the job was actually done, so responsiveness counts for us.
We were impressed that we were not waiting at all. Their roof replacement quote was also the least expensive with the same quality with better material. Architectural 30 year rated shingles in lieu of 3 tab shingles from another company. These will probably last between 15 and 20 years in our Florida climate, according to roof inspection experts. 3 tabs are said to last about 12 to 15 years, sometimes less.
Since we didn't have the money at the time, we waited until this December 2019 to have the entire roofing system replaced. They matched their originally quoted price but added another $6500 for installation of hurricane gusset brackets between roof and cement walls they said we needed to meet the current building code requirements that were not in place 16 years ago, when the roof was last replaced.
Even with this added amount, they were still less than the next best quote from last spring. We verified their license and insurance and Sunbiz and they all checked out. A research online showed more often than not, the roofs done by this company were passed on the first inspection by Palm Beach county permit office. They encountered horrible rain and wind during this job and we ended up with water damage from leaks. However, as per the contract I'd signed, Rene Jaimes finished the "punch list of damages" I'd made bringing everything back to the condition it was before the roof job started.
He even threw in a few fascia boards that needed replacement and 1 x 2 strips of wood that we didn't previously have under the drip edges, at no additional charge. The price quoted was the final price we paid. He provided us notarized Waiver and Release of Liens, as expected, after each payment. The only complaint I heard from our residents was that they didn't like that a ladder was up against our building for the entire duration of the job and that the debris was blown off the roof onto our walkways and not picked up until the end of the day.
Because it was so windy and rainy practically the whole time this project was underway, I think this might be extenuating conditions. However, when I asked the workers to pick up the debris, they did it right away. All the city inspections passed first try and our wind mitigation report was provided prior to the last payment. I recommend this company as the final result was very good. I liked the warranty too.

The guys at Sunshine Roofing really know their stuff. Roofing, tile setting, windows, electric/plumbing, and stucco experts (I’m sure they do more)!!! All work was quickly permitted and passed with flying colors. Entire team was great at sourcing material and got us exactly what we needed for our budget. It is very difficult to find honest guys like this who have this much integrity these days. I highly recommend.

I contracted Sunshine Roofing to replace the shingle roof on my new home in Plantation, FL. Rene is very knowledgeable of the building code and explained the new roof to wall connection code (namely strapping the roof properly with 4 fastners). Other roofing companies said this was not necessary BUT my wallet said otherwise. I shopped around and got home owners insurance quotes with and without the strapping.
After seeing the numbers and calculating the strapping would pay for itself in 3 years, I decided it's a no brainer to have the roof fastened per the new code. I had a pleasent experience with Sunshine Roofing. Rene is honest and stands behind his work and word. His employees are hard workers and perform good work. All work was permitted and completed in a timely manner. Great communication and service! I will be recommending this company.
