I do not write many reviews but Attic Air really deserves one! Robert came out and quoted us. This was our third quote and the most professional experience. They were not the lowest price but right in there. It also comes down to feel, comfort level, plus REVIEWS. We hired them and like clockwork they showed up at 830am on the designated day 3 or 4 weeks later with 3 big trucks.

We had a squirrel issue and they had a party up there sadly ruining the insulation and leaving us presents. They removed all our old insulation in the attic, sprayed to sanitize, replaced it with much better and thicker stuff (Better R Value), and cleaned it all up. As a crazy nice bonus they even replaced a bulb at the top of a stairwell that I would need scaffolding to get to.

How nice of them! Next up was Alex who I believe was the foreman. He explained what was being done at each step and had me check the work at each point. Alex also deserves Kudos for being so on the ball and professional. Last thing and a very important one! They left our house as clean as when they entered! When does that ever happen with a contactor!?! ALMOST NEVER! Well it just did! Thank you Robert, Alex and all at Attic Air for the stellar work!

The owner, Robert Carroll, came to my house last week. He inspected my attic on a hot day free of charge. I noticed some yellow staining on my bathroom celling and wasnt sure what caused it. Robert moved some insulation around to cover a large section of bare dry wall above the bathroom ceiling. He suspects that's what the problem was. He could have been dishonest and given me a huge estimate of things that had to be done. I'm grateful for this man of integrity.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Attic Air. Robert (the owner) is prompt to respond. His guys are quick! We had them install attic fans and a whole house fan over the last year. Each install took under 2 hours and they cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend their professional service! They guys forgot one piece of our whole house fan (not critical) and the owner, Robert, came out the next day to drop it off. He is very friendly and was so kind to our pup. When the need comes, I'm using Attic Air again without hesitation.

My entire interaction with this company has been fantastic. I originally reached out to Rob in late February 2020 for a quote for Attic insulation. After the pandemic in March, things went hectic and we decided not to get any work done until late summer 2021. On the day of the job, the crew came out and completed the entire job in around 3-4 hours.

They installed the attic insulation, soffits, and an attic fan, and also fixed a kitchen exhaust vent. They handled themselves with professionalism and cleaned up after themselves, and made sure to get my final approval before leaving. The attic insulation reduced our winter energy usage by ~15-20%, which was huge especially considering the natural gas price spike in winter 2021-2022.

The quality of work was excellent, but what stood out the most to me was the Professionalism and Integrity shown by Rob. Anytime I needed to email Rob with follow-up questions, he promptly responded and gave me the information I needed. If he committed to a date/time, he would show up on that date/time. He would give honest feedback instead of trying to upsell me on things I wouldn't need. I strongly recommend this company.

Had insulation done with this company and they did not notify us that our ceiling was unstable when they were putting in the new insulation. Fast Forward a few weeks, our ceiling collapses in one of our rooms. We called them back and asked if they noticed any damages, to which they responded with "We saw it, but it's not our problem". Then processes to hang up the phone mid conversation. Robert is very rude and I would not recommend their service to anyone.

Rude, nasty owner- made an appt in Dec for Jan- they never showed up or called. He showed up on my door 3 months later arguing with me he CANNOT be mistaken. I tried to reschedule for a day I was avail- he marched off in a huff, yelling "nevermind" Who does business like this?

Attic Air came highly recommended by a Facebook group for my town. I called them, prepared to spend thousands to insulate my attic after another company told me it all had to be removed and redone. Robert was great, such a nice guy. He took a look and said, the insulation was fine. No problems at all. He noted a couple issues that could be fixed but it wasn't much, and could easily be done myself.

He even guessed the exact company that gave me the shady quote. He said flat out, his business is to sell me insulation, and I just didn't need it. I am grateful for his honesty and will always recommend this company to anyone who needs work done!

Had to schedule 2 months in advance but the team stuck to the proposed date even during a weather advisory. The crew was on time, efficient, respectful, clean and did a great job. I was impressed. Thank you Attic Air.my wife can now store her stuff in the attic and it already feels warmer in the house. Would recommend!

Robert from Attic Air came out to my house. Answered all my questions, very professional. I was happy with my quote and booked an appointment. Crew showed up on time, how often does that happen now a days. Crew leader Alex walked me through the game plan. Outside crew was extremely efficient. Inside crew did a great job. Job site was left very clean, I was not expecting that!

I had 11 soffits cut out, an attic that needed insulation badly, brought level up to R60. Had a room adjacent to garage done as well. One of the crew even fixed my access door! Thank you! We are super satisfied and already notice a big difference. I can honestly say from first phone call until completion of project, Attic Air made it so easy, no headaches!

I was extremely happy that I ended up choosing them for our insulation update in our house. The initial quote was thorough and offered a lot of flexibility for our options to pursue, and once we agreed to the work, the team arrived on time and got the work done efficiently! They were very careful in the house and attic and had me inspect each attic before moving on -- would absolutely recommend for any insulation or attic fan needs you have!

Basically reported to me that "they do not go to Joliet" Very unprofessional in getting back to me to either recommend or offer any suggestions. I can understand not going to a particular area, but then get back in touch with the customer and just do not leave a sketchy voicemail

Robert came to our house to see if insulation would help our ice dams. He was completely honest and said that based on the design of the house it would not eliminate them completely. We got a bid for upgrading our insulation anyway because we really want to give such honest and caring professionals our business.

Excellent/efficient service and very responsive. Showed up on time and did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves. I had attic insulation and an attic fan installed. It has already helped keep my home warmer during the start of this winter. To be continued on the impact in the summer.

I just had to write a quick note about how great my interaction was with Attic Air. I had left a message about getting some insulation work done, and within 30 minutes I got a call back from Rob. Unfortunately for me they were all booked up but he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me helping me understand how I could mitigate the issue I was discussing with him myself. I very much appreciated his professionalism, expertise, and generosity. Great customer service!

Robert from Attic Air was very prompt and inspected attic for possible moisture, exhaust fan ventilation and insulation quality. The problem was ceiling cracking next to return air vents. I highly recommend this company for their honesty and thoroughness both of which are hard to find. Thank You again

Our 100+ year old house did not have insulation in the attic nor did it have bathroom vents. Had an appointment with Robert who came in July to review the work needed to be done in July. They're so booked that we couldn't get availability until early October. On the day of the work, 2 guys came for the insulation and 2 came for installing the vents. Took a little over 2.5 hours.

We had pro pink insulation blown into attic. The guys knew what they were doing. They also wore masks the entire time inside which I respect because not every contractor wears a mask indoors. That following night we noticed both our bathroom fans were making a lot of noise so hubby emailed Robert (owner) about it. He was very responsive and sent Alex over the next day.

He was able to diagnose the problem (the damper was stuck on both fans after the bathroom vents were installed). Alex was done in 15 minutes or so and explained to me what happened. He brought his own booties and ladder so kept our area clean as he made his way inside. Overall, we are satisfied with the service and the fast responses we've gotten.

Robert came out today to check out our attic because our electric bills are high. He found that the attic fan was never reconnected after our roof had been replaced several years before. He reconnected it and made a couple of suggestions to help with the electric cost. There was no charge for him to reconnect. You don't hear that very often. Thank you Robert for being an honest and fair professional.

Alex and his crew of courteous and knowledgeable technicians replaced our old attic fan in less than 30 minutes. They fixed the install problems that the previous company caused and properly mounted and adjusted the thermostat. Their solutions prevented what would inevitably been a leak based on the previous company's shoddy work. Robert and his team were exemplary from start to finish. We bought a mid century home that had vents in the soffit but they went nowhere, and we knew it was a priority to fix when we moved in. As hard as it is to put thousands of dollars into something no one will see until you sell, we understood the importance for a healthy and energy efficient home, so our priority was finding the best contractor -- and our experience with Attic Air proved we found it.

They added soffit vents, air channels, added blown insulation to address deficiencies and updated our attic fans. They got the job done efficiently, with great attention to detail, explanations of what they did, and showed us the results as they went. The house is cleaner than when they came (they cleaned everything they touched) and were so considerate through the day. I can't recommend them more strongly!

Rob with Attic Air came to my home in November to give me a quote to properly insulate my attic. Rob's encounter was informative and very professional. His prices were also very reasonable compared to a competitor I had spoke with just the day before. Fast forward to today, Attic Air arrived ON TIME (a bit earlier) in two trucks. One crew worked on the outside of my home to remove soffit panels while the other crew worked in the attic to properly vent a bathroom exhaust fan, connect electricity to the attic fan, and insulate the attic.

The crew was efficient and very professional. In all it took a little over two hours. They answered all of my questions and recommended installation of a door tent (which I bought) as well. I am satisfied and happy with Attic Air and will definitely be using them moving forward.

Had Robert come out to inspect my attic for increasing my insulation and installing new bathroom exhaust fans and venting them properly. Robert is one of the nicest guys and answered all my questions. He is very honest with what needs to be done and fair in his pricing. Alex and his team did a great job installing everything. They were very professional.

Everyone wore masks. They also tarped the floors, cleaned up after they were done, and even lysoled any surfaces they touched. I am beyond impressed with the quality of work provided by Attic Air and highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Great attention to detail, excellent communication. I personally appreciate any opportunity to learn new things about our hundred-year-old house which, now thanks to these guys, has proper ventilation installed in both attic and basement bathrooms - upgrade! - these guys raise the benchmark impossibly high for any other contractors - breath of fresh air (pun intended), superb attitude and diligence in every aspect of the job!

When trying to find a reliable contractor it's always a crapshoot. unless you take a few minutes and look at Yelp. Found a couple options and tried the request a quote - got a response very quickly and set an appointment. Attic Air was responsive, fair & did an amazing job. I'd you are looking for a good company - give them a call.

In need of an exhaust fan/light installation in bathroom and contacted Attic-Air. Was able to get an appointment on the books relatively fast. They arrived promptly at 8 am and were done within an hour inside the house/attic. A shirt 30 minutes later and ventilation through the roof was completed. The fan replaced an existing can light in the shower, and was located in a very difficult corner. Attic-Air was able to complete the job and clean up all dust and insulation that fell through the attic, and vent the fan through the roof in a short amount of time. EXTREMELY satisfied with the professionalism, speed, and craftsmanship that Robert and his team at Attic-Air provided! Highly recommend them for your Attic and Air related jobs.

The owner is like your next door neighbor. If you like them. Very friendly and professional. He has a great vibe to him. His workers just left my house. My back attic was insulated, plus turtle vents put On the roof. Also had my dryer and two bathroom duct work was redone. I can't say enough the professionalism, their friendly attitude and showed me exactly what they were doing and how they did it.

His estimate was under two others I had received. I like the professional attitude but not when it's all business when they come into my home. Robert actually reminded me of my uncle. You won't go wrong with him or his workers. Lil Alex, and Jerry were the best. Their attitude was to come in Do a professional job but also held conversation and a few laughs.

They did my insulation and cut the holes for the vents. Alex yes another Alex did the roof vent insulation. He was very professional and towards the end he cracked a smile. I can't say enough about Attic Air. You won't go wrong with them.

All of my soffit vents on the second story (colonial home) were completely covered with insulation. The bathroom exhausts were vented into the attic. After using another company for mold remediation, Attic-Air then correctly vented the bathroom exhaust fans through the attic to the outside. Next, they added additional soffit vents, cut the existing wood soffit vents to make them larger and installed baffles in the attic to prevent the insulation from covering the vents again.

We also had an attic fan added to help remove the heat in the attic during the hot summer months. Last, they added new insulation and it was brought up 24″ from the original 8″ of insulation. The team did an excellent job. They were winder time, all the bedrooms are now warmer as a result of the added insulation. I don’t remember the exact date we hired them of the amount we paid. I think it has been 2 years.

From the start of the process to the completion, I couldn’t be happier with service I received from Robert Carroll and his Attic-Air crew. It impressed me that not only did Robert bid the project, he also showed up with the crew and worked right along with them until completion of the job. As a not very handy senior citizen, I appreciated that Robert at no extra cost to me, took the time to wrap my water heater pipes and repair some foil wrap on my HVAC unit located in the attic.

He is honest, straightforward, no hard sell, no frills guy. The crew arrived on time and completed the job efficiently in 3 1/2 hours. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend this company for any attic needs. They do outstanding work.

Installed a new bathroom fan, and vented the fan and another existing fan outside. Very quick, very professional, and a job well done.

They spent a couple of hours on a day where they ended up not doing the work and rescheduling after traveling all the way out to the house and setting up, just to make sure it was done correctly (we had another contractor that needed to fix some previous work, to avoid negatively impacting the quality of the insulation job). Robert would take pictures of things that weren’t correct, take the time to carefully explain why – and whether or not they could correct it themselves. I have no negatives to report at all, I wish all experiences with home contractors were like this.
