Our garage door was repaired expertly by the professional. He was efficient and professional. In less than 2 hours, we replaced the motor, all of the rails, the broken spring, and other sections of the door. We estimated that it would take half a day.

Great way to get new torsion springs for my garage door. They have great videos on Youtube to help you know what size springs you need and a great video that shows you how to change your spring and adjust your door. They also send you winding bars to windup the torsions springs. They shipped the springs fast and it only took me an hour to change both springs and adjust the door. I saved $200 over my best bid wich means I paid myself $200 and hour to do the job myself. Highly recommend

I got what I ordered and installation was a snap after watching the video a few times I found initially on youtube. They saved me at least $150-200 on having someone else install new springs. Getting the winding bars, cables and shipping for free was a real bonus too! I will highly recommend DIY Garage Door Parts to anyone that needs to rework their garage door springs. I recently had the misfortune of a garage door spring breaking and the door dropped. I had called to the local door companies (crooks) and they would not sell me a spring because they said "our insurance carriers will not allow it because you may get hurt and they would be liable because you have to be a professional to install" if you have common sense and are careful it's a breeze and they don't get the house call or upsell why they are there.

The Crew at DIY were so very helpful and quickly answered any question I had, they included new cables, a new center bearing and the tools to wind the spring. They also have awesome video's to insure you measure properly and install properly. The door took about 45 minutes to repair and is running smoothly again. Thanks to the fast professional service from this company. They are bookmarked in my PC for future needs. Also the Price was EXCELLENT as well as Shipping. Thank you.

I wanted to take a moment and share my experience purchasing online from DIY Garage Door Parts. I will recommend this company to any of my friends who find themselves in the same situation I was in - a spring on my garage door broke Monday. I ordered replacement parts 1st thing Tuesday morning from DIY GDP and I am now sitting here in my garage on Wednesday, two days after the spring broke, with a repaired garage door, drinking a victory beer, and writing this review.

The ordering process was super easy - I was able to purchase through my Amazon account - and the communication via emails is exactly what I would expect - I received order acknowledgment from both Amazon and DIY GDP shortly after placing the order. Later that same morning, after the shipping label had been created, I received an email with the tracking number. Parts arrived today, one day after shipment, packaged well, with all items ordered accounted for. BTW - if you order springs and don't find the shipping papers in the box, that is because they tucked into one of the springs for safe keeping.

After reviewing their online tutorial video a couple of times, I was able to conquer this project with confidence. Thank you all at DIY GDP for making this a smooth process: from research, to order, to install, you supplied me with the information and tools required to be successful and I appreciate that.

Stopped in at their shop today to pick up some springs and other parts for my garage door at the house. They had exactly what we needed. Great customer service. Even though we drove 1 1/2 hours to get there, it was well worth it. I do much prefer to support the local business, rather that the big box corporate places. Thank you for your assistance. I strongly advise you to go to DIY. I had a great time working with them. They took care of the scheduling and sent someone out as soon as possible. They identified the problem and provided recommendations for the next steps. They are extremely knowledgeable and quick to react.

I needed the parts but he ripped me off shipping used springs. Does t answer his phone for refund. Scam.

As others have shared online: I watched the videos. Ordered the parts. Installed. My garage door sounds like new. The service was great. I accidentally ordered the wrong spring but they caught the mistake and shipped correct spring. They were out of stock on something but called and got me an equivalent alternative. Can't ask for more.

Excellent quality parts at a very reasonable price. Videos were extremely helpful. With my order I received a free set of winding bars and a steel center bearing which is so much better than the original nylon one that I removed. DIY Garage Door Parts are the Best !!

Despite Hurricane Florence which affected their operations, my order was shipped out and received on time. The video on installing the springs was perfect and the over-the-phone assistance in ordering the parts gave me confidence I was getting the correctly sized springs. I like that my order automatically included the winding bars which are essential, at no extra cost.
