In 1971, Chuck Lower founded a domestic heating and air conditioning firm. In 1978 plumbing and Commercial HVAC construction where added and then in 1997 a temperature control department took shape. Now more than thirty five years later, Lower, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has expanded to a complete service mechanical contractor with over 40 full time plumbing, HVAC and office specialists working hard to serve their clients, yet, is still able to provide individual service.

Recently had a problem with my Lower central heating system. or so I thought. I called Lower and they had someone out to my house in less than an hour. Repairman found out very quickly through diagnostics it wasn't the heating system -- I had no propane and even went out to my tank to confirm. Fast forward a couple of days after propane was delivered and now the hot water heater is not working. Called propane company and they tell me call plumber.
So I call Lower again. Again, someone at my door quickly, less than 30 minutes. Determined nothing wrong with water heater and that the propane company didn't re-light the water heater after doing leak test! So very appreciative to Jennifer, Craig, and Kennedy for quick service & patience with me. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

I have used this company for many years, and have been satisfied. I have no issue with their work. I had an experience Tuesday that was profoundly upsetting. I had scheduled my winter check up for my heating system, and the technician was due to arrive at 3 pm that afternoon. I phoned the main office and was connected to the scheduling person to request that the technician wear a mask when inside my home.
She immediately responded curtly that she would not assure me that this would happen. She said that the technician scheduled for my appointment was vehemently against mask wearing. The company does not require masks (which I have no problem with), and she indicated that she could not ask the technician to wear a mask inside my home since there was no county mask mandate.
She also would not guarantee that he would do so if I asked him. I argued with her that I should have the right to ask people whom I do not know to wear a mask inside my home, and that it is usually a short period of 10-15 min. She became more and more argumentative and stated she was not going to discuss it further. She then HUNG UP on me. I did not swear or yell at her, but was trying to make my point.
The telephone receptionist did apologize, but I decided to end my relationship with this company. I checked with Blue Dot who has their protocol for community health safety posted on their website. The lady at Blue Dot was so cordial and said that they encourage mask wearing in people's homes, and even though they do not require this, they certainly honor a customer request to wear a mask inside the customer's home. People I have discussed this with cannot believe how I was treated over a simple request to protect myself and my home.

We just bought a house that didn't have a water shut off valve and a leaky washer hook up. Jennifer was very nice and friendly on the phone and got someone over that day to make sure we weren't missing the valve (we weren't) She even called to remind me of the appointment. Kennedy showed up during the scheduled time and got right to work. Will definitely use them again.

Had several reasons to continue calling Lower Plumbing and Heating over the years. Always able to fix the problem fast with reasonable charges. Great customer service from tech and office staff. When we call for plumbing and heating/air conditioning services, we receive a quick response from everyone. Last visit, fixed problem in 15 minutes! Thanks for all you do, your work is appreciated!

Absolutely exceptional! Plumbing professionals Brett and Travis are knowledgeable, efficient, professional, craftsmen. Their attentiveness to customer concerns and attention to the details addressing those concerns is impressive. Jennifer (Office Personnel) is courteous, and professional as well. Also, the final cost for my large scale job was truly an added bonus. I will continue to contract with Lower and I highly recommend this company without reservation.

Wow! These guys are awesome. Had main sewer line replaced and they showed up as scheduled, gave a prompt and competitive bid, completed work above expectations. Such a great experience. Brett and Travis were simply outstanding. I could go on and on. It's so hard to find a good plumber in this town and these guys rocked the house. Thank you for restoring my faith in quality craftsmen.

Very experienced professionals! I always appreciate when they bring an apprentice along to pass along their expertise! We have had our water heater, AC and furnace worked on by Lower and they always get the job done right! I always recommend Lower to any friends or family members that are needing the same as my appliances are in great working order because of their great work!

Just had the best experience with Lower plumbing! We tried to do a simple job ourselves, which ultimately turned into a MUCH bigger job due to our outdated kitchen sink plumbing. We were without our sink and dishwasher with everyone stuck at home. I called and Jennifer and Rory were able to get someone out right away. They rebuilt the plumbing under our sink and replaced our garbage disposal. Lower is a great local business that goes above and beyond to do the job right and at a great price! Thank you!

Being an HVAC engineer I knew I had an issue when my outdoor heat pump wasn't running. From the very first call, Lower was responsive, knowledgeable and professional! They had the unit ordered in and replaced within 48 hours. They went above and beyond to improve my setup and pay attention to every detail. I'd highly recommend Lower and will use them again in the future!
