You rely on them every day when you make your daily commute to work and back - but what do you do when your opener stops working? The answer is simple: you turn to us.

James "Jimmy" Gans started Rowe Door Sales Co. in 1968 in the Greenridge section of Scranton, PA. His son, Alex, joined him in 1978. And then, in the mid 1990's, upon Jimmy's untimely passing, Alex took over the reins of Rowe Door Co. From the start, Jimmy sought out the finest products and materials in the garage door industry.

Response for a repair was very quick. George found a less expensive and easier way to fix the problem than originally thought. He also pointed out another issue that I had no idea about, which he also fixed, saving me additional money by not having to put in for another repair call later. I was extremely pleased with George and the service he gave me. Rowe will be my go to for any future repairs or replacements in the future.

Thanks for great service. The two garage door technicians were excellent at installing my new garage door. They willfully offered advice to me especially regarding options for locking the door via slide lock versus keyed lock. They even installed an additional slide lock on other side of door, and added an extra handle inside in center mid-way up (after seeing me struggle with lower handle). I believe their names were Eric and Jeffrey Young. Absolutely fantastic! Awesome Tom Bierman 50 Rock Road, Lakeville, PA

I am very pleased with my exiperence with Rowe Door. When I called, I talked with Paul. He took my info and responded back to be promptly. I accepted their offer and they sent a technician, Eric, to install a new door. Eric was a pleasure to have as my installer. He is professional and polite. He explained things to me and answered any questions I had.
I called Paul on Monday and the door was installed on Thursday. Plus I am 75 miles away from their location. I would not hesitate to recommend them! If I need help with my garage door in the future they will be my first call! Thank you!

Absolutely NO! Had an opener installed on a commercial garage door, THEIR bolt broke off the Friday before Labor Day. I called them at 4pm, was told they are closing until next Thursday. I said I have my personal vehicle in the garage. They told me to try and open the garage myself, 14' door, I can't!, it's way too heavy. I called them back, they put me in their voicemail, even though they don't close for another 15 mins. They refused to assist me when THEIR equipment was faulty after just a few months. I'm stuck without my vehicle until a week from now?

Rowe replaced our Garage door, the tracks, and installed a new opener. They managed to get us in the schedule several days earlier than originally planned which was fantastic since our old door was literally falling off the track. The work was done in a little over 3 hours. The installers were polite and professional which is greatly appreciated. No complaints or issues at all, hire these guys with confidence.

My reason for contacting Rowe Door was because my garage door was reversing due to a bind. Rowe installed my door in approximately 1995 and it had never had any service. The service man knew the problem in about two minutes and without hesitation proceeded to resolve the problem. I decided the system needed a full service call. The serviceman was very professional and knew his business, the door was running like new in about an hour.
From my initial phone call I was given accurate information on when and what to expect in a polite professional manner. I felt the price for the job was fair and competitive. I highly recommend Rowe Door. I am in no way connected with Rowe Door or any of its employees

Rowe came to my rescue. In a matter of hours, they were at my house, with a smile on their face and did a perfect job repairing my garage door/boat house door for a very reasonable price. I am of the opinion it would have been easy to say get a new door but they've worked diligently to fix the one I had. They are my go to garage door company and should be yours.

I had an old garage door with an automatic opener. The entire thing was so shot it would not go up and down without stopping many times. So annoying. I saw a billboard advertising."do you need a new garage door?".It was the Rowe company which I had heard of before and I know they have been installing garage doors for at least 40 years. So I called the number.
They accommodated my work schedule and sent a representative to my home to establish the estimate. In about 2 weeks, I had my new door installed. I now watch this door go up and down like a kid in a toy store! It is perfect.so quiet and smooth. Why did I wait so long to do this?

Rowe Door is our go to one stop garage door sales and service company. You take your garage doors for granted until something goes wrong. Rowe's staff is kind courteous and knowledgeable. Recently had the install two new operators. Excellent work and a fair price. I recommend Rowe Door to anyone in the market for garage doors, accessories and repairs.

We used Rowe Door for an "odd" garage door installation. Their response for a measure up was quick, friendly and very professional. They got us a price quote the next day and explained the quote and the turn around time for installation. They installed the door in the time frame they had stated and the installation was neat and professional. Great company to deal with!

Rowe Doors has been super easy to deal with, friendly, knowledgeable, and has communicated well. We have had nothing but a good experience from the beginning when we went to browse in the studio. Alex was great during the purchase process and has followed up nicely. As we are still awaiting the door to be trimmed by the contractor, Rowe will then return to install the keypad and put on the weather stripping, decorative hinges and door handle. I highly recommend Rowe Door Sales!

Rowe Garage Door Sales were very courteous and professional. The garage door looks very nice and so far (about a month) seems to be working fine. We did not give a 5 star rating because the only issues are that we did not receive an itemized receipt nor do we know what the warranty terms are example how long the warranty is on the door or the details of the warranty.
At one point I looked out in the garage to see how the project was coming along and the worker was looking around my garage behind things, he was actually looking for a broom and dustpan to clean the scraps from the project. Rather than snooping he could have knocked on the door and ask me for the broom and dustpan. there were leaves in the dustpan that fell out of the dustpan and were left where they spilled out. petty complaint maybe but it is respect for someone else's property! Thank you.

I am not normally the person to leave a one star review but really felt compelled to leave this after my recent experience with this company. About two weeks ago I filled out a form on Home Advisor looking for garage doors. It was either Friday evening or Saturday but nonetheless Rowe Door did call me back Monday. Unfortunately I had already heard from another company and scheduled an appointment with them.
So problem #1: they take leads on the weekends with no one to follow up. I explained to the sales person that several companies did call me right back. As far as I am concerned the first company that gets back to you usually will get the work. Maybe Rowe Door Sales has enough business. Not really that big a deal. Turns out that wasn't the case.guy who set the appointment (NOT ROWE DOOR SALES) ended up not showing.
So two weeks have gone by and I am no closer to having my doors replaced. So because of this I decide to call Rowe Door Sales this morning around 8:20am. Guy on the phone seems a bit smug. I explain the entire situation and he pretended to not even understand what I was saying. You know that passive aggressive dick that listens to a 5 minute explanation sizing up the deal and says sir could you repeat that. Anyways his smugness over the phone turned me off right away (problem #2).
After my explanation and being rudely disregarded I end up saying "I need two garage doors installed tomorrow are you interested in giving me a price?" Problem #3 He actually takes the statement literally and says "I am sorry sir but we would not be able to install doors for you tomorrow" and almost hangs up. My statement implies that I need them quickly and this guy takes it literally and pretty much hangs up.
So now I am starting to think that he's ultimately pissed that I didn't choose them first (he heard my explanation) and now that I was calling back he was pulling some passive aggressive shit to punish me. He couldn't wait to tell me no! So anyways he smugly responds that they would interested in giving me a price but they weren't going to be able to come to the house for a "about" a week.
I literally live 1-2 miles from their business. But I don't run their business and understand them not being able to "get right over there". He senses my dissatisfaction with that and (problem 4) says "so you don't want to go through with it then?" in his smug "I can't wait to tell you no" tone before I even had a chance to confirm a time.
I politely accept his desire to hang up the phone and here I am now writing this review. It would have seemed appropriate if he would have said initially."you wouldn't want to buy a garage door would you?" It really must be nice to be able to pick and choose who to sell to. That would really suck for Rowe Door Sales if he wasn't even the owner.
