Excellent customer service, products and install. I've worked with them on three projects so far for carpets, vinyl flooring and tile. Stephanie provided excellent recommendations on vinyl flooring and tile. Sabit provided expertise for our carpet install and worked within our budget and timeframe when we were dealing with a flood. The staff are authentic, honest and work with integrity.

They have a fantastic range of products, and we found the team very easy to work with. The consolation in their show room was very helpful to ensure that we chose the right product.

If you are a home owner and not a big developer, do not use Island Flooring. They are horrendously expensive compared to smaller operations and if you are having a small job done, you are treated as low priority. Our kitchen and bathroom floors were replaced separately. The kitchen done before the pandemic and the bathroom put on hold. I asked them to order the flooring for the bathroom and charge me for them and the installation up front.

I had the tiles here in a small condo for over a year and when they installed them, they then sent me a bill for $600 for 3 hours work. Because I had asked them initially to bill me for the whole job up front and they agreed to that, I was stunned that they had charged me for the flooring but not the installation. They went ahead and installed the tiles finally and then billed me for the labour. I could have had a person install the tiles for less than half of what they charged. Their workmen were great but overall I was disappointed in how they did business.

My employer exclusively uses Island Floors for all our flooring needs, so I was excited to be able to use them on my latest home renovation. Stefanie is incredibly helpful and detail oriented, made sure to note how our vinyl sheet floor should be installed for the best layout with the pattern and was flexible on scheduling around our timeline. Dennis installed our floor quickly and efficiently, and he was very friendly and professional. Very satisfied with our beautiful new floor and would highly recommend Island Floors for anyone's flooring needs.

This is our second time using Island Flooring. They provided really good service and the final product looks fabulous. Although they were really busy we did get fairly fast service and they were responsive to our timing needs. I recommend this business.

I've been putting off getting new flooring done for years - so many choices and the logistics of actually getting them done. Our salesman, Greg, was so incredibly helpful! So much to choose from. The gentleman who actually laid the floors - John - was nothing short of a wizard! Such craftsmanship! All this - and socially distant! Can't recommend them enough!

In preparation for an extensive renovation, I collected quotes on my flooring needs. My experience at Island floor centre began with a 10 minute wait, followed by a condescending sales rep who presumed I could not afford any flooring I selected. I was made to wait for incomplete inadequate quotes, and the result being Island Floor Centre has lost my business. Conversely, Hourigans and Edgar & Miner both provided prompt, courteous service, with complete quotes for my project. Don't waste your time at Island Floor Centre.

Highly recommend Island Floor Centre for hardwood and marmoleum flooring and tile work. Contractors they arranged were excellent tradesmen and lovely people. Stefanie steered us through the process and went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied.

We recently completed a kitchen renovation, which involved a search for just the right wood flooring. I purchased a home that had engineered hardwood sold and installed by the Island Floor Centre. The night I moved in I was shocked to see it was lifting in various places. The home was under 2 years old. The developer promised to repair it in 3 weeks and then said because I was the second owner the 25 year warrantee was null and void. I bought the home from a couple who were rarely living in the home.

I checked with other home owners and all said that boards on their floors had to be replaced because the top layer lifted off the base. I called a floor expert to come in and he advised me that it had faulty glues. He said before selling a product like this he would test the glues. I contacted Island Floor Centre and 3 weeks later they sent out a salesman.

I had marked all areas where the thin layer on top was lifting so he could easily check it. When I asked him what he thought he said he wasn't going to comment. Island Floor would not stand behind a defective floor that they sold and installed that was supposed to be under warrantee for 25 years. I would never purchase flooring from this company as they don't stand behind the products they sell. No customer service. rude when I asked them to respond to my issue.
