Gaston Fence

I have called them 3 times. No return calls, finally stopped by. A few weeks later a guy came by to quote fencing in 10 acres. That was weeks ago. Never heard back. Poor customer service!.

Asked for a quote and got one. Then I wanted to add a gate to it, so I asked for another with the gate included. The new quote was almost $1000.00 more than the first. I called and questioned it and they said that they had made a mistake and would send a revised quote. The original quote had included $500 to remove old fence, the new had an "option" to remove the old fence add $850 to quote.

That was on Oct 7th, today is Oct 27th and I have got nothing, no call no email. Not very good customer service and the attitude when talking to office people needs adjusting. Very matter of fact. Do not seem to care if you like what they have to say or not. So needless to say I don't know what kind of work they do. I never got that far with them. If you are needing a fence you might want to consider other options. My experience turned me off.

Everything was wonderful! Travis and the entire team gave us an over the top truly stellar performance last night and we can't wait to go back again!

Rude lady answering the phone. Never showed up for appointment. Heard from others that they are expensive but I wanted to give them an opportunity. Based on the missed appointment and rudeness, I will not be calling them again

I contacted Gaston fence to have them continue a fence that they had built in the beginning of the year for the previous homeowner. I asked for same exact fence and nothing different. I was provided the cost and specs from Gaston fence already. They came out and quoted me a significantly higher per foot cost. I asked if there was a reason and if they could honor the price that they gave previous owner only 6 mo the prior.

They called one time to try and explain why and once the lady realized her reasoning made no since she said she would talk to the GM and get back to me. Needless to say they never called back. It appears the price you pay depends on who you are. Not the actual material and labor cost.

Gaston fence came out the same I called to give me an estimate. Justin was professional and was very helpful in advising whom I needed to call get get clarification of the right of way. Melissa in the office was very nice and helpful in getting the contract setup. I was on the schedule to have my fence installed and then we had a major plumbing break in our water lines.

I was upset, to say the least. I called the office to let them know that I had to cancel the job, they were very understanding and had it cancelled immediate. Thank you Justin and Melissa, I will definitely call Gaston Fence back once I can move forward with my fencing plans.

I called, spoke with someone who seemed to know what she was doing. She said she would have a few estimates with different materials but she never called back. I called two days later and no one knew what I was talking about, but was told they would get back to me. I gave her my number, and almost two weeks later nothing! Your customer service is terrible!

Everyone I came in contact with at this company was very professional and helpful in making sure that I was fully informed on what I was getting and how much it was going to cost. Jason and the installation crew were great! I had a few places that the grade was causing an issue with spacing under the fence that could result in our dog getting out, not to mention that it just didn't look right either, and they were quick to come up with a solution that fixed the problem and didn't even charge me for the extra time and labor it took to fix it.

I also made a last minute change in the way one area was to be enclosed and they were quick to make the changes and even offered other options to get the best look. We have received a lot of attention and compliments on our new fence and couldn't be happier.

This company did an awesome job installing our new fence. Jason and the installation crew were very professional. Our yard was a little tricky due to hilly area, but they got to it and did want needed to be done. They were recommended by a company in South Carolina, and we are so glad we went with them. We will be sure to highly recommend them to all that are looking for a fence. Thanks again for a job well done.

Called this company to come out and repair my fence. I was told they would "be out next week." Stupid me thought that meant they would actually come out and repair my fence. 2.5 weeks later I called back and the lady told me I was still on their board and just waiting on a sales person to contact me. Why do I need a sales person to contact me? I'm sure if it was a new fence install I would have been called but since it was just a repair it wasn't worth their time.

Wish they would have been honest with me during the initial call instead of wasting my time. I since found another fence company that came out within a week and they will continue to have my business.

My wife saw a Gaston Fence truck in our neighbors yard and went over and snagged Jason and told him we needed an estimate as soon as he was done with our neighbor. We told Jason we had tried to get estimates to have our fence repaired but 3 other fence companies never called us back or came out for an estimate and the one that did I knew the estimate was really high. Jason came over and took measurements and faxed us a quote that evening.

I signed off on it and a week later we had a new gate and a corner post and section of fence repaired that a deer had torn up trying to get out of our fence. One of the workers checked with us to make sure we were happy with the work before they left and we were! Plus Gaston Fence saved us almost $400 over the one estimate we did get. If you need an estimate for new fencing or fence repair I can highly recommend Gaston fence.
