Had wood rot and front window replaced. Work was started in November of 2021 but window took till May 2022 to be completed. Estimate was confused and disorganized (had to be done 3 times to eliminate errors), then asked for $7k+ for work to be partially done (window order took a while). Then when job was completed in late May, invoice was presented on May 25 for payment due on June 1st.
Put payment in mail on May 29th but got 3 emails, two texts, and two phone calls asking for payment. When I called the office- no answer and no working mailbox. When I called PM, he free admitted they are screwed up and when I asked to talk to owner "Joe", told there was a good chance that isnt likely. This company has lots of administrative oversight (that add no value and appear clueless) with good work quality from subcontractors.
It's not a real construction company. They are more anxious to get paid more than anything. I got more personal contact in 4 days after being invoiced than in the 6 months it took to do a window replacement.

Update: Wren still refuses to honor their work, claiming it's not their workmanship that has caused the leaking shower. I have had several tile contractors and general contractors to my home and all have stated that the work preformed by Wren wasn't done properly and a direct cause of the issues and leaking shower in our home. It's been repeatedly and clearly stated that the workmanship was sloppy and not due to any settlement in our home.
This is also clear in the engineer report that I paid for at Wren's request. Wren said that if I secured a structural engineer report stating that there were no issues structurally, that they would do the repair work and correct their work. After receiving the report, which I will gladly share with anyone, Wren is still refusing the honor the repair and stop the leaking that is further damaging our home.
I have reached out again and again and am now left with an over 5k repair to fix the problem that Wren's workmanship has caused. I will be taking legal action as I haven't been left with any other option. I have tried to work with Wren to resolve this issue outside of legal action, sadly they refuse. I really hope that this review will help save other homeowners from a horrible experience by poor work and business practices.
As a small business owner myself, I had hoped to work things out directly with Wren. It's a sad and shameful way of doing business. Original Post: 2 months ago: I have reached out to wren and the Horrible Experience. Installed a shower for us in our downstairs for our ailing father. Shower is leaking into our crawl space and causing damage. Wren stated it was a structural issue, we provided a structural engineer report that stated there was nothing wrong with the structure.
The pan is leaking. We have tried for several months to get this resolved and have now paid $500 more for said Structural engineer report at Wren's request. They are not returning calls or doing anything to repair the problem that they caused when putting in the shower. We paid 8k plus for the work and they refuse to honor it. Homeowner be aware, not a company that stands by their work.

I needed to have my porch railings and columns replaced. They did a terrific job. My original call for an estimate was returned within 48 hours. The time between estimate and scheduling once I agreed to the estimate was very reasonable; about 2 weeks to get on their schedule. The workers were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and experienced. It was just a half day job. I would definitely use them again.

Wrenn Home Improvements helped us remodel our bathrooms and make them ADA-compliant for me after a sudden change in my mobility. They do beautiful, professional work and even built a custom linen closet where a stand-up shower used to be. Their advice during planning was awesome and everyone we worked with was professional, flexible and very kind. I will hire them again for everything from another bathroom remodel to small handyman jobs.

I'm currently in the early stages of pricing out a deck replacement for my home. With so many contractors to choose from on the internet, it can become a burdensome process just selecting a company for an estimate. Responsiveness was going to be key in my search. I came across Wrenn Home Improvements and gave them a call. Within 24 hours of leaving a late afternoon message, Jesse was at my house and suggested 3 different options that I should consider, he then emailed me detailed estimates 1 day later. That is what I call responsiveness.

I had been searching for a reliable handyman service for months. On my way home one day, I followed. a Wrenn Home Improvements truck until it stopped at its destination. Two very nice young men assured me that Wrenn could take care of all my needs and gave me the number to call and the name of the office manager. A visit from their evaluator was scheduled, and I was delighted with his knowledge and recommendations regarding my rather lengthy list.
As a former contractor, his expertise and experience was clearly evident. Shortly afterward, I received a very reasonable estimate and information regarding next steps. Communication from WHI personnel has been excellent, and I am delighted that I found such a well managed business.

Wrenn Home Improvement went above and beyond my expectations at each step of my repair/renovation project. They provided accurate time and cost estimates, kept me in the loop on schedules and gave me ample notice for those times when I needed to make decisions. All in all, they took something that could have been very painful and stressful and made it very enjoyable. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the work they did.

We want to thank Wrenn Home Improvements for taking care of some railings we needed. We needed one in front of our house and one going up to the second story. The worker who came out was courteous and did a great job. He cares about his work and works hard without complaint, even in the hot sun. We're so excited about the work we've just had done by Wrenn Home Improvements. These are honest, hard-working people. We highly recommend Wrenn Home Improvements.

I wanted to state what a delight it has been to work with the whole staff at Wrenn Home Improvements. My project started out as a shower remodel for my master bath. I have wanted a tile shower for 40 years. From the demo, to the plumbing, and down to the tiling of the shower I have been very pleased with the whole experience. The shower is almost finished.
Just waiting for the final touch which is my glass door. I have been so pleased that I'm also going to do my quest bathroom. Wrenn thank you for a fantastic job and I would recommend you to anyone.
