I just had Newtown Heating and Air Conditioning perform a complete replacement of my 22 year old, 2 zone HVAC systems (2 furnaces and 2 AC units). They offered the lowest price, were incredibly responsive, and offered an install window within a few weeks which worked really well for us. They spent 2 days in my home, made sure I understood how to operate everything, left the work area cleaner than when they found it, and were courteous and professional. The owner gave me his cell # and told me to call him with any questions or concerns. I couldn't be happier with the experience and would gladly use them again.

We first discovered Newtown Heating and Air several years ago after a closer-by contractor told us our boiler could not be repaired. I called Newtown Heating for a second opinion. At that time, Newtown Heating owner Don restored the unit to full working order by replacing a small section of damaged pipe near the air eliminator. So this season, when our upstairs heat wouldn't come on, we called Newtown again.
This time, Don bled the system and restored our upstairs zone in about an hour without replacing expensive parts or spending an inordinate amount of time doing the maintenance. Once again, Newtown Heating came through for us by providing fair, honest service and pricing. I highly recommend Newtown Heating to any homeowner in the Greater Philadelphia region who appreciates the value of a skilled contractor who plays it straight.

Don and his crew installed a whole-house Generac generator for us. They did a great job, very clean and neat installation. The generator has been flawless, through many power outages, with several lasting more than 24 hours. Don also came out and replaced a bad capacitor on one of our AC compressor units. It was a brutally hot day - AC was back up and running in less than 24 hours after the first phone call.

EPA Section 608 Certification is required for all professionals working on systems containing refrigerants. They did our install for our AC and our tank-less water heater 12 years ago. We always used them for any issues we had, and we had quite a few the first few years, which should not have been the case with a brand new Trane AC/Heater. I had an apt for maintenance on our water heater, they called and rescheduled it due to emergency calls. Understandable.
The new day they scheduled it for, no one showed up. After the two hour window had almost passed, I called the company twice and left messages asking where the technician is. No one bothered to call us back that day or next day, or any other day to explain why they didn't show up. Unacceptable! After this incident we decided to move on and called a new company. So far we are happy with the new company.
