Dennis was awesome and knowledgeable with helping me choose the right refrigerator. Upon pick-up Liana was really helpful and flexible with my schedule. The people helping me load my purchase stayed late which I am really grateful for. Item was as described and perfect for my rental unit! Thank you!

You won't find their level of commitment at a box store I ordered a scratch and dent Viking range and range hood. The range had shipped with some missing parts, they had the parts to me in 2 days and paid for the service man to install them. They answer the phone, they answer your email, they stand by what they say and what they sell. That. is hard to find today. Oh and I forgot to mention Courtney, who makes you feel valued at every turn. Love working with these guys.

This website increases their prices in time for weekends and special 'sales'. I'd observe for a few days and see what they're doing as it's not worth paying full price since many items are damaged. I have purchased new in box items in the past but it seems like the quality or merchandise is going down while their pricing has been going up. Who buys a microwave with a shattered glass front? Or a fridge with missing compressor?

I need to replace my kitchen after purchasing cabinets here about 2 years ago. I had complained about the smell of the cabinets, had one of their experts come to the house and confirm this smell on the cabinets This expert recommends I use murphy's oil soap. The smell of varnish and chemicals is still there and making my family sick. I would not recommend buying anything here. I tried to be "sustainable, " but do yourself a favor and buy new or not from here at least!

I recently purchased a used Sub-Zero fridge here. Through a personal oversight of my own, I failed to notice a minor damaged front panel and also thought that it wasn't working correctly when delivered. They were also unaware of the damage and happily took it back. Fast forward a week or so and they not only showed me that it was in fact working perfectly, they agreed to replace the damaged panel for free!
Talk about an organization that stands behind what they sell. Through all this (and bear in mind that I was 99.9% the one who was wrong) they were all truthful, pleasant, professional, thorough and overall great to work with. Kudos to Diana in sales and the operation's manager. I recommend them highly.

Thanks Dennis! I needed a sink but needed a good deal, Dennis went and made sure I found a good one. He helped me clean it out. Most of their clientele are repeat customers but they were really helpful to me. IF you see something on their website go there quickly because flippers are your competition!

This place is incredible! Like the biggest yard sale you'll ever go to. I have to respond about some of the comments. First, about GD not setting up the kitchen showrooms any more. You realized that every time you assemble and disassemble a kitchen there will be damage to cabinets and possibly countertops, etc. By not assembling in the showroom, they're bypassing another opportunity for damage and ensuring the product will come to your home in as great shape as possible. Second, buying a second-hand kitchen isn't for the faint of heart.
You have to have some design or DIY experience to be able to look at kitchen layouts and "before" photographs and understand if you can reconfigure the materials to your needs. These are deeply reduced kitchens - often the price for the appliances alone justifies the purchase. It's not a full-service show room for new kitchens. That would come at a considerably larger dollar figure.

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE! Bad policies! Spent $620 on two items. One was an unused ('new') dishwasher that leaked the very first time we ran it. I called the manufacturer to submit a claim to get a repair done. Not only was it two years out of warranty but it has also been discontinued. Claim denied. Okay, I bought this as overstock. I get it. I'll call Green Demolitions and ask if there's anything they can do.
They tell me that I had three days after purchase to test it and that after that, there's nothing they can do. Think about that. Dishwasher. Three days. Not exactly something you can just plug in and run. Usually plumbers are involved and they are not always available to install a dishwasher in a 48 hour window. I was told that I'm basically out of luck and that I should call and pay for a repair person to fix the broken thing that they sold me.
I was also told that I should do better research on the product next time! Bottom line: When you buy an appliance from Green Demolitions their policy is that they can sell you a broken appliance and assume absolutely no responsibility after three days (or so they say, good luck with that. I guess you would have to plug in the washer at their store and run it so they can personally witness the cascade of water that comes out if it.) Most importantly, once you've completed your purchase they will not tell you about their three day policy.
No warning at all. I was told that I should have read my receipt- you know, after they already had my money and I had my broken dishwasher. And by the way, I'm looking at my invoice- absolutely no mention of this policy. Buyer beware, indeed.

There are some pretty good values here on architectural salvage from kitchens, baths and other home furnishings. I managed to score a vintage Victorian vanity and some fixtures for a fraction of what they cost at other salvage operations. The kitchen selection looked good but the only issue is trying to fit the salvaged pieces into your existing floor plan. I would be more apt to look for gently used appliances instead.

To say that I was pleasantly surprised upon stumbling across the Green Demolitions Super-Store would be a huge understatement. This place is AMAZING! What you will find in this unassuming warehouse/showroom will bring joyous tears to anyone who's ever been confronted with the jaw-dropping price tags that accompany luxury home decor/supplies. Here, they purvey "reclaimed luxury" at a fraction of the original list price.
Being that much of this stuff comes from very well-appointed homes, the quality of inventory is top notch. I could spend hours looking through all of the items from granite kitchen counters, to bathroom fixtures, to chandeliers and everything in between. Think of it like a contractor's version of HomeGoods on steroids. That is the best compliment I can think to write.
Staff was super attentive & friendly, but not pushy. The place is clean, orderly (as much as possible) and offers a fun, exploratory experience. I can't wait to return with some of my home's measurements!

I have to change my rating to a full 5 star. The Green Demolition in Honesdale has separated somehow from the one in CT and NJ. Honesdale now carries things too numerous to list. I went yesterday and purchased a garden pot and a serving bowl. I came home to find my refrigerator had committed suicide while I was away. This morning I got on the phone and called them, and they are actually going to email me with results!
They are also looking for chairs to match a table that I purchased from their NJ store and had shipped to Honesdale. Although I had to pay for the transfer, they discounted the table so much, it paid for the transfer. They now carry dishes, china, glassware GORGEOUS antique and new chairs, pillows, hearth sets and the list goes on and on. My suggestion.drop in some day, you never know what you need until you see it there! Thanks Again Green Demolition!
