James was our salesman did a wonderful job & Edward I talk to most of the time who helped me when I needed help to learn different things on the panel always called me back if he couldn't answer the phone. I purchased a 40x16 pool and a 7x9 spillover spa in May of 2021 for a self install. Having never installed a pool before, I was in uncharted waters. The owner of the company gave me his cellphone number and took my calls with any questions I had through the process. The final product was amazing. The fiberglass construction is the best in the industry. This family run company has the the integrity and customer service that sets them apart from other pool manufacturers. I highly recommend Tallman Pools.

Walked in the door and his attitude was a total turn off. He made us feel like we were not welcome. Immediately told us the cost of the pool as if to deter us. That's fine. There are other pool contractors. Their loss, unfortunately for them we were serious buyers. What's interesting is they've received such high reviews. I wonder if it had anything to do with the color of our skin.

I typically only write reviews if the service was either exceptional or if I received horrible service / thought my money was wasted. This is a review of exceptional service - definitely delivered above and beyond our expectations! We ordered our pool in August, 2020. Given the pandemic we had not been able to take nor did we know when we would be able to take our yearly family vacations (fear of traveling to international destinations).
As well, my son was unable to swim with his swim team or at any pool for that matter. We decided to bring the 'resort' to our home by purchasing a pool and creating a 'staycation' environment in our backyard, because we didn't know when we would be able to get back to our normal routines. The pool would be the centerpiece so we had to get that right. However, neither my wife nor myself had grown up with or owned a pool.
We had no clue where to start, and happened upon Tallman Pools. The conversation with Ryan, our sales person, laid the foundation for the rest of our experience. We were shocked to see 'their backyard operations' where they build the pools. They sit on 16 acres, which you have no idea sits behind their storefront. Pools were everywhere! We chose our design and features, and then had to wait almost a year given their backlog.
At first, we were a little cautious about the purchase given the time we had to wait, but understood the situation given the pandemic and the unknown as to when we would get back to normal. Fast forward to our first interaction with Zane, Project Director extraordinaire, a few months before the pool was to be installed. He painted a great picture of what to expect on our journey.
We really had no clue prior to the conversation, and were put at ease once we started engaging with him! From the team who dug the hole and installed the pool (Jason, John, Jose, Migel) to the stone guys who built the spa (JD, Marcos), to the team who closed-out and cleaned-up afterwards (Jeff and team) - this was nothing less than amazing! They were all very professional and were very patient answering our questions. and we had a ton of questions.
I hope I didn't forget to mention anyone. If I did, it was certainly unintentional. and I thank you too! We still have a lot of work left to do to build a pavilion and landscape the surrounding areas. However, they have partnered with us to transform our yard into our own little oasis! Kudos to the team for a job well done!

Went to the office to inquire about having someone come look at my property to see if a pool is possible in my backyard. Spoke with James. He said he needed a copy of my property plans. I got those the next day and emaild them to the office. After no response, I called. The person who answered said that James was at lunch and he would have him call back. I have yet to receive any correspondence. Called another pool company, they came out the next day and a week later I had a 3d rendering and a contract.

Tallman has BY FAR exceeded my expectations. They were very straight forward from day one telling me what they would do, and what I needed to handle (electrical, plumbing for heater gas line, site plan). They explained the process, the pricing, and what options I could add. They even gave me a tour of the manufacturing process! Zane was my project manager, and was always in contact making sure I knew what step was next, answering questions, and updating me when the crew was coming.
The work crews were very skilled, knowledgeable, and FAST. They had the pool excavated, leveled, and pool dropped into the ground starting to fill it with water, all on the first day! By day 3 the pool was full and circulating. Talk about instant gratification. If you need a pool, go with Tallman. You won't be disappointed.

I am so happy with my pool! I talked to 5 or 6 different pool companies before ultimately deciding to have Tallman build my pool. I loved being able to deal with one company for every step of the process and every single person that I dealt with was helpful and pleasant. I am really surprised at how little maintenance my pool requires and am so glad I decided to go with fiberglass. If you are looking for a pool, Tallman should be your first stop!

These guys are truly professionals, and they do what it takes to make all their customers satisfied. I will recommend them to family and friends in a heartbeat. You get what you pay for, and Tallman Pools delivered. They are great on scheduling work, and will be punctual unless mother nature thinks otherwise. The Tallman Pool company was a great experience to work with, and Zane project manager deserves a raise. Even after project was completed, i still call to ask questions, and they are more then willing to give me the help i need.

When we were shopping for pools, we tried look at all the alternatives. Value is a key factor for us, we want the best we can get for our money. I have truly enjoyed my experience with Tallman Pools. Mr. Tallman SR gave me everything I needed and more, he is the best at making things happen. I am truly grateful for everything he did! Working with Ann and Michele was a pleasure. Whenever I had a question or needed something completed or changed, Edward Tallman JR. always came to my rescue. This was my first pool purchases and its been a big learning experience, but I am glad to say that I made Tallman Pools my first choice.
No regrets. All of my friends and family rave about how they love the smooth surface, but not slippery finish and how beautiful the water always looks. Its very easy to keep clean and is truly maintenance free. Nothing in this world is perfect, but my pool has become my backyard place of paradise. Thank you Edward Jr for providing excellent customer service and going over and beyond the call of duty when needed.
Do yourself a favor and do not be cheap and buy a vinyl pool, get something that will last forever like a fiberglass or gunite pool, but if you want something low maintenance and can last forever with the hassle and expensive gunite, this is the way to go! PS: Get a pool heater and blower for your hot tub, you will thank me later!

My project was to find a negative edge fiberglass pool that I could install on a tile deck elevated 18' at a new beach house in North Carolina. Code required the bottom of the structure that houses the pool to be 10' above the mean hide tide line. After talking to several manufacturers who weren't interested in the business I ran across Ed Tallman, owner of Tallman Pools in Georgia.
He was intrigued with the project and after many calls and drawings, he manufactured a custom pool with a dropped edge on one side that I could finish perfectly with tile to create the infinity edge. Their company was outstanding to work with and performed exceptionally well. Tallman Pools has provided my family and friends with a affordable resort pool and lifestyle. As first time pools owners my wife and I were concerned about what it would take to be pool owners. From the discussions about which pool to buy through location on our property to installation and ultimately maintenance, these folks are outstanding. We had a recent electrical problem and they talked me through the solution in simple understandable terms.
Total repair cost was $9.00 for a new circuit breaker. Also, it is great to place a call to a company and actually get to talk to one of the owner/family members. You cannot go wrong buying from these folks. Thanks Tallman pools for our backyard resort!
