David Rohman Home Inspection

Very honest and keeps you up to date with what is going on in repairs. Just today 11-27-18 my wife was stranded with a flat tire and his two workers dropped what they were doing on our house and fixed the tire for her. Did not want anything in return and simply said we can't leave someone stranded. Dave and his staff are very helpful his two guys went way above and beyond to help my wife out and that too me means alot. I wouldn't look any further for future projects than Dave Roman and his hard working staff

David Rohman is an elite inspector with so much wisdom to share with his clients. Contrary to the review before this, he helped my buyers through a successful inspection and gave them all the tools to make their own decision on the house. I would 100% recommend David and his company for any of your home improvement/inspection needs.

Do not let this man on your property, he is an over zealous over opinionated inspector who will run your house into the dirt laughing and than redirect your buyer to one of his houses!he is unethical and after 41 years experience still can't operate a ladder and will crush your gutters.he's a deal breaker who takes advantage of inexperienced people and works them to his advantage.

David did our home remodeling after inspecting the home we purcased and I would never do business with Rohman Builders again. Please be very aware that David underbids "just to get the job and be competitive" as he stated in his own words. A handful of aspects in this project were under-bid so low, the project could not be completed per the pre-appraised bank specifications without my having to bring several thousand extra to the table. Also, you need to know that he will not keep his deadlines.

We started in April with an agreed August finish date. It's November, we're not done! He threw several extra "overages" into a billing statement in October for work that was done in May without ever consulting us for the work. The overages exceeded $7,000. I have since fired David Rohman, but I'm left with a huge burden of re-hiring new contractors to finish the work, correct work he did incorrectly and with very little money since the project was bid out wrong.

By the way, all of this work has to be done to satisfy the loan taken out from the bank. I will state that David's men were always very kind and a joy to have in the home (Ryan & Ryan); they worked hard and laughed. On more than one occasion I felt they were stressed because of lack of communication between David and what actually needed to be done. David takes on multiple jobs and inspects houses regularly, so if you can actually communicate with him consider yourself fortunate; this also complicates his ability to dedicate time to your home or project.

I found this off because he was never difficult to reach until the project actually started? Our home even flooded while he was working on the basement and despite three calls and multiple texts, he never responded until the next day; we never did get a "I'm sorry" about that. I'm certain that someone has had a good experience with David, he's been in the area for a long time.

That was not our experience and I would never choose him or recommend him to anyone. In closing, David has his own ideas about how your home should be remodeled, despite whatever your tastes may be. We took pictures at Home Depot of exactly what type of stair railing we wanted and sent to him in a text (that I still have today). We came in one week to find a completely different type of stair railing installed.

David was great! He took time to explain what he's looking for while going through the house. He helped us learn about the house along the way. Very friendly and willing to answer questions we had. David came recommended by a friend and now recommended by me.
