Chimney Guy

I was pretty disappointed to learn that they charge a fee to come out and give an estimate. We want to have a wood stove and chimney installed. 2 companies have come out and gone through the home, taken measurements, and given estimates and recommendations, all free of charge. The Chimney Guy won't even come out without charging me for their time. No thanks. There are many other certified technicians in the area.

We hired them to clean our gas fireplace. They called to remind us of the appointment the day before, showed up on time and were very polite throughout the appointment. They took before and after pictures so that when I asked them to slightly adjust the bricks in the gas fireplace they were able to look back at the before picture to complete it. In addition, they were very thorough with their clean-up afterwards. We have been very happy with their services.

The best! Everyone has a "guy" for something, well the Chimney Guy needs to be your "guy" for all things fireplaces and chimneys. I have used them for service on my gas fireplace as well as new tuckpointing around the stack, and a new stack- they did the best job! Also, had my pilot go out, I couldn't get it lit, called my guy, and they came out, 10 minutes, they had it on and working great- they didnt even charge me for a service call. This is service and an experience no one delivers today- except for the Chimney Guy! Best service and best prices!

Have used The Chimney Guy for installation of a gas fireplace and flashing on chimney. Always prompt and responsive. Extremely mindful of keeping the house clean and take excellent pics to show everything being completed. Prices are reasonable considering the top notch work being done. Would highly recommend The Chimney Guy to everyone.

Highly recommend the Chimney Guy! I have an older home which was having severe water damage through the brick chimney and facade. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it. The are very knowledgeable about masonry maintenance and repair, responsive and follow through.

We needed to replace an old wood burning fireplace after a chimney fire. Luke and his crew did an incredible job! The project took over a week, including complete removal of the old and installation of the new. Every night, the team cleaned up all they could to allow us to use the room. On the last day, I watched them wipe down everything-walls, windows, pictures, furniture, and cleaning the carpet.

They even scrubbed the floor under the runners they brought to cover everything! If it wasn't for the beautiful new fireplace, we couldn't tell they had ever been here. I highly recommend them!

They came and did a chimney inspection. I was extremely impressed with the service. They showed up on time and ready to do the inspection. They were very thorough and explained everything very well. Before they left they gave us an explanation of everything they found and what needed to be done for repairs and gave us a quote. I would recommend them to anyone who needs chimney work.

The experience and service could not have been better. The experience applies not only to the technicians but the support staff as well. We recently retained the services of The Chimney Guy which included cleaning and repairing our chimney, plus had new fireplace doors and screens installed. We were very pleased working with Amy and her staff and the results of the work done. As indicated in many of the other reviews, there was no mess! We highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

They walked us through what happened and what steps to take to ensure we do not have a reoccurrence. Very professional, on time, no mess, and friendly. Hese guys were great. Office staff was efficient and easy to work with. The gentlemen that did the work were punctual, did not make a mess and were honest in their evaluation of our chimney. They even offered to let me know if they saw something on the roof like debris in the gutters while they were up there. The report they sent me included pictures of all their findings and in-depth details. I will recommend them to family and friends!

They honestly could not be more helpful, efficient, and easy to work with. I called in mid October to get my wood burning fireplace chimney inspected and cleaned. The woman was very helpful and apologized that it would take about three weeks to get my chimney cleaned because it is thebusy time of year. (If you are anxious about getting it cleaned, book early).

I live in De Pere and they said no problem coming up here for service. The process of setting up my appointment could not have been easier. I got a reminder call a few days before. When the two man team came to clean the chimney, they brought lots of protective gear for my home, like door mats, sheets to cover floors and furniture and dust covers for shoes.

They took lots of pictures of the job. It took them about an hour to clean out the chimney. They were quiet and efficient and very easy to talk to about the job. It cost about $269 for the job. They had to reseal the top of hte chimney but other than that - no repairs, just cleaning. They are a very professional company and I highly highly recommend them! I wish more local service businesses operated as professional as The Chimney Guy!
