When you choose KD Poolscapes to build your backyard retreat, you're automatically inducted into the "Golden Shovel Club." Not only does this photo mark a memorable day in your life, but it serves as the beginning of a series of photographs to document each important step in building your dream. When the job is complete, you'll receive an album with photos of your project from start to finish.
An appointment is made to meet at the customer's home. At least one hour should be set aside to discuss your backyard's options. Please have the people making decisions about your poolscape available at this first meeting. Also, please have your Plat of Survey (if available) and a copy of your Neighborhood Covenants if you live in a subdivision that requires one.

Can't say enough about the construction and service. With construction they are a one shop stop. They did the design, did the pool and contracted the plumbing and electrical. Originally was using a different company and that company required me to get the permits and find my own electrician and plumber. Ken and Lisa from KD poolscapes took care of it all as they knew what was best for their product.
As for service they are timely and get the job done promptly. The guys that do the maintenance and service are always polite and professional and clean. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my pool.

I had a client that used KD Poolscapes for a pool inspection as part of a home sale. Ken seemed to be fairly thorough. At the end of the inspection he asked my client if he wanted a full written report with pictures or if the walk through was sufficient. My client said the walkthrough was enough. Turns out my client wanted to use a couple of defects found in the inspection to get out of the contract.
They provided a quote for the repair needed but when asked about simply listing the defects he found on paper (not a full report) the owner absolutely lost it and started screaming and cursing and throwing a tantrum about how he was only paid for the walk through and not the full report. We were not requesting a full report simply the 3 defects found in writing.
I was nothing but polite in my request. I deal with contractors on a daily basis and I've never had a problem with this type of request and I have certainly never been treated this way. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I will not be reccomending KD Poolscapes to any of my clients in the future.
