We had been thinking of doing a kitchen remodel for a very long time and finally found the right company to do the job. When I first met with Kurt, I appreciated his honesty and knowledge. Our project involved removing a wall and was fairly extensive but Kurt and Carol kept the project on time and offered their expertise in the timeline, selections, and keeping sub-contractors on task. We love our kitchen and wonder why we waited so long! I would highly recommend B & R Hardwood & Tile.

I initially hired B&R several years ago through Angie's List to update our master tub/shower. Since then, I have turned to them for a number of additional projects. The total scope of work has included a partial remodel of the master bath, hardwood flooring and trim installation in multiple rooms, tiling and carpet installation, and retreading of a staircase.

My experience with the trades they have brought in to do the work has been very good. The workers are courteous and respectful, and take a great deal of pride in their work. The quality of workmanship is excellent. Pricing is higher than average; I believe this is due to the fact that they recommend premium products (a great installation of a cheap product will still look cheap). After doing beautiful work on my home master bathroom remodel, I had the pleasure of working with Kurt at B&R again for a restroom remodel at my commercial property. As always, Kurt and his workers were on time, professional and very easy to work with. They completed their work quickly, and the construction zone was promptly cleaned up and waste disposed of. Couldn't ask for anything better! B&R Hardwood & Tile gave me a fair and reasonable proposal for the extensive bathroom remodel I was having done for my daughter's condo. They were able to work the project into their schedule early and finished the work promptly. In addition to their smoothly working through the maze of city-permit requirements and condo policies, they supplied fine craftsmanship and careful attention to detail.

Unlike some other contractors, I've dealt with through the years, B&R was always easy to contact and exceptionally responsive to my needs. Through every phase of construction, including potentially messy demolition, they finished each day by cleaning up so well that that one would hardly know they'd been on site-the only tip-off was the substantial progress made.

The office manager of the condo building said to me that they were among the best contractors she'd ever dealt with, mentioning their professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness, among other things. The project results were highly praised by my daughter, her friends, and her mother, my wife. The bathroom is now quite beautiful as well as strikingly more functional. Kudos to B&R.

I have used B & R Hardwood & Tile for several projects including a complete remodel of two bathrooms and a partial remodel of my kitchen. Their tile and hardwood work is exceptional but I like using them because they also cover all aspects of the remodel including drywall work, painting, carpet, doors, etc. Kurt is very customer focused. He over communicates during all phases of a project regarding planning/preparation and scheduling.

Once a project is underway, the work is done in a very timely manner and he doesn't leave a project until everything is done to my liking. I will continue to use B & R for any future projects.

B&R Hardwood did a complete top-to-bottom renovation of my 1978 era downtown Minneapolis condo, including kitchen, all floors, bathroom. They did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Carol and Kurt were very professional and very direct with me on what would be realistic and recommended. They worked within my budget and had great suggestions. The process was well-coordinated and all of the workers were excellent with great clean-up. I am very happy with the work of B&R and would happily recommend them to anyone needing some renovation.

We recently worked with B&R Hardwood & Tile on several home projects including turning an open loft into an enclosed bedroom, hardwood floors, ceramic floors and granite counter tops. We are very pleased with everything they did. The estimate was realistic and the projects stayed on the designated timeline. Kurt was very helpful in the process, meeting with the granite and tile vendors with us, and offering us suggestions based on his experience. We have already recommended B&R to some friends.

My husband and I worked with B &R Hardwood and Tile for a kitchen and bath update involving new flooring and counter tops. We had a great experience and feel they did a wonderful job. I especially liked their attention to detail as they assisted us in every step of the project. It was very helpful to have Carol, who managed our job, be present with us to pick out the tile and counter topping.

She stopped in everyday to make sure the contractors were doing their job correctly. We also had Kurt stop in and help us solve a few problems we encountered, personally doing some work himself. Everyone did a great job and our kitchen and bath looked wonderful after the job was complete. We would recommend them for your remodeling needs.

B & R did an amazing job on the hardwood in two rooms of our home. Kurt was very friendly and easy to work with and was willing to schedule around our tight remodeling timeline. The install is beautiful, the color-match is perfect, and we will certainly hire them for our next project!
