A-1 Garage Doors

After 26 years the springs on our garage door died. We called A1 around 1pm. Eddie worked us in and arrived around 6pm. He had the parts on his truck, replaced the springs and cable in record time. The price was reasonable and Eddie was great. Highly recommend this local company.

Great experience. Was schedule to come out through our home warranty and came on time. Even called us when they were headed our way. Had the spring we needed in the truck and fixed it within 20 minutes

I was in a pinch for a retainer to finish up mouse proofing a customers home. Glad I stopped here before I got to lowes! Great people and great service! Highly recommend!

Absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated by this company. I had them come out to replace two small springs. The tech that came out recommended one bigger sprint. I wasn't sure about that decision but I went with his knowledge. After talking to husband we decided we wanted the two we originally asked for. I called and talk to the owner before paying the first time, she said that was fine and we'd just have to pay the difference. Great.

Well come to find out when I was going to pay they wanted to charge me the full amount for coming out twice. When I questioned that I was transferred to the owner she said she would not insure the springs like their warranty states due to the fact that I went against the tech recommendation. I told her if I would of know that I would of just kept the one.

I was just afraid to only have one spring because of the possibility of it failing and then the garage door would not stop(I have two small children). She was incredibly rude to me and said well I'm telling you that now. She failed to given me the knowledge to make an informed decision and at no point did she tell me the warranty would become null and void.

If the springs I have aren't worth warranting then they should be given as an option. The only reason why we chose them is because their name was on the garage door. If you choose this company be prepared to be treated poorly by an owner who likes to leave out important details for a customer who just wants to do what's right(given the right information). ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CHOSE THIS COMPANY.

The lack of professionalism is atrocious from the owner and the tech. The initial tech used my husbands flash light and covered our garage with grease. He didn't bother to lay down a tarp or protect the contents of the garage by the grease overspray. I will be reporting to the better business bureau.

Wow, what an experience! A+++ Outstanding company and great employees. Wonderful experience from Initial quote to install. Very professional and very reasonable for produst. Tiffany, James, and Brice I will reccommend you to everyone I know. Tiffany had installers come out and repair a broken spring, then assisted me in the ordering and purchase of a new door. James and Brice came out to install today. They paid attention to even the smallest details as well as excercised superior workmanship and turned out a high quality job. Thank you all!

Prompt service. No hidden installation costs. In time appointments. Fair prices. I have used A1 personally for over 20 years. My former employer used them on my recommendation for all over thier OH door issues. I assume they still do. A1 is a local company for me and I always try to use local businesses when possible. Also when a service call turns into a door replacement or opener replacement they don't charge for the service call.

The young guy that came out was so sweet and professional. His parents should be proud of him 21yrs old but looks like he is 16 or 17. I almoat wanted to ask him.if he wanted to join us for breakfast. I felt so comfortable with him. I almost forgot he was in my garage. I would recommend him to anyone. I didnt even think they would show up that fast. Awesome

Worst customer service I've ever had to work with. The owners always had an excuse on why they couldn't come out and do the repairs I requested. They blamed the problems and reasons for not coming on another company or because another job slowed them down, and they struggled with communication to resolve our issue. What a lack of respect as a business to business partner.

If you can't complete a job that is subcontracted out to you, contact them back and ask them to sub out the job to another company because your unable to perform the service. Frustrating. Good luck.

Top notch service, I don't normally do reviews. However if you need service on an overhead door this is the company you want to do business with!

When I called, they were able to fit me in the next day! The technician was right on time, and was a very nice man. He even took a moment to teach me how i could easily fix it myself next time. Thanks again!
