This is a personal motto of a man who recognizes there is only so much time to get out there and make a difference in the world. Shaped by the words of a childhood role model, Pittsburgh Pirate Roberto Clemente, Brad was inspired by the baseball player who cared greatly for others and was very active in charitable work for those in need.
Make Your House a Home for a Lifetime! Aging In Place means living in your home safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of age or ability level. To age in place you will probably need to modify your house as you mature to increase access and maneuverability. Do I want to add a bathroom and possibly a bedroom to the main level or install an elevator?.
Everything seems to be "going green" these days. Sometimes it can be hard to tell what that really means, especially when it comes to your current or future home. Although we cannot entirely avoid affecting the environment when a house is built, green building can help minimize that environmental impact.

What a nightmare experience with Jessie Badroe. He said he could do our project for $200K. The estimate came to be $375K. Kept charging us for drawings that were completely not what we wanted. Seemed as if he was not even listening to what we wanted. Finally, when we wanted to end the contract, he would not even respond to us for an entire month.

We have worked with Lundberg Builders for two major renovations of our Annapolis home, in the last 20 years, finishing the most recent one, in May 2014. On both occasions, we had the pleasure of working with their master planner, Bob Moreland, who is always willing to revisit & modify plans, propose alternative solutions, and to answer all our millions of questions with respectful patience, taking the time to explain complicated concepts to laypeople, like us.
The Lundberg team arrives on time every day, and work extremely quickly, as they say, "to keep costs low for you!" They cleaned up the job site very professionally and quickly, at the end of each day. Their craftsmanship and clever workmanship is totally. awesomely. outstanding! For example, our older (~1928) home had several uniquely-shaped spaces that we wanted to use for storage and Bill, their Master Carpenter, was able to fashion triangular doors of different sizes that met each other with razor-precision!
It was more like art than craft! I cannot say enough good about their team, except to add that when we needed to move some heavy furniture, that was not a problem and did not add to the cost. The Lundberg Builder team has great, cutting-edge, ideas to solve absolutely any design, style or craft problem, and once again, when it was all over, we finished "under budget and ahead of schedule" - the words every homeowner LOVES to hear!
