Exceptional customer service experience with Gaston and Wyatt.! We'd been dreaming of a new front door for our 1930's bungalow for about 10 years and, given the odd size of our door and the surely old wood hidden beneath the trim, we were not sure how best to proceed. After getting quotes from a few places earlier this year, Larry Topping really stood out to us because, instead of just emailing us a single price, he took the extra time to send us illustrations, ask questions, provide multiple options and even come out to our home for a site visit so as to best advise.
He was extremely patient as we mulled over the Simpson door options and prices and kept in touch throughout the long production process as well. He also helped us locate a master craftsman to remove the old and install the new door and hardware, and checked in with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied. In this era of big box stores where you struggle to locate a knowledgeable sales rep to answer your questions, Gaston and Wyatt is a true exception.

I am GC'ing our personal total house remodel, a first for me although I have done major remodeling on 3 past homes. We are blowing out the old small windows and framed in huge, non-standard size windows. This is complicated by the fact the house is a 1950's Brick Ranch house, changing window sizes on a brick house not recommended (lesson learned). So, when it came time to order windows I researched how to measure correctly, read code requirements and went to two locally recommended shops.
After going back and forth for 3-4 weeks, and both refusing to double check my measurements (I was unsure of my accuracy and once bought, you own the windows, no refunds). A construction company we hired to help with the brick work and install recommended Gaston and Wyatt. We called them, they came out and we walked through the house, discussing our goals and they made recommendations.
They caught a couple code issues I missed being a rookie (and codes change). They solved a few window size, opening and style questions for us, and they measured everything. We had our windows installed last week (and a big sliding glass door) and it is beautiful. They are quality windows that fit wonderfully in the space. I am so relieved, no reorders, no delays, no reworks or adjustments. The windows just fit, and work wonderfully. Go with a pro, it makes a difference.
