Both Johnny & Matt came to my home today to replace our AC unit. They were fantastic. Wore boots inside the home, thoroughly cleaned up, installed system, checked it, and explained it. They were very polite and just great. Highly recommend this business and their team. Would also like to add that Ms. Bree whom I initially spoke to when requesting service was so nice and responsive.

First, during a time of high demand, Southern Goodman was wildly responsive when other companies were not. They kept me informed about my service appointment and the arrival of the technician and were unusually attentive and pleasant. The technician, Silas, was outstanding, diagnosing the issue and repairing the non-operating a/c all in 90+ degree heat, all the time as pleasant as the office staff.
No up sell pressure, just good information so I could make smart informed decisions. a/c now working and a professional relationship I will certainly continue. 10 out of 10 on every level.

Positive, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Courteous and Efficient. Mr. Silas has knowledge about the issues my system was experiencing. He nice, respectful, friendly and found the problem fast. This was my first maintenance visit and very impressed with the company. He explained the cost, the process of installing it, the benefits and future maintenance.

The service received from the initial phone contact was amazing. Truly professionals. I will recommend Southern Goodman Mechanical to everyone I know. Tommy/Sam, and the entire team were outstanding! I liked everything about the business. Great quality, amazing value, total professionals, noteworthy responsiveness, and respectfully on time. I would add 5 more stars. Our Heating system stopped working this week which was extremely cold. Southern Goodman Mechanical came out within the hour and assessed our problem and replaced a 50 yr old system. I was so impressed with their professionalism, thoroughness and and genuine kindness. They were very reasonable and accommodating of times frames while working to ensure we had heat. This company is now in my phone log should I ever need them again.

My service tech was Sampson. He was literally the greatest service tech in any field I've ever met. He was very friendly and had a high level of expertise in his field. I understood everything he explained and what needed to be done. He was very kind and friendly to my mother in law and explained things to her as well since it was her unit. I can't explain in words how appreciative I am of this fella coming out in the middle of a snow storm and being so friendly and professional. Our parts were ordered and will be installed tomorrow. Great great experience thus far. Give this man a raise!

I was very happy to find Southern Goodman. In addition to successfully repairing my heating system, I was made to feel comfortable that the services provided would take care of whatever my problem was, which they did. They were strategic in their approach. The level customer service received was impeccable and every staff member and crew was considerate, pleasant and professional.
All of my questions were answered and my calls with questions were returned quickly. I appreciate that there was no stress (beyond making the initial call) and that the experience was one that garnered a level of trust. As a customer service manager and trainer I am pleased and hope that Southern Goodman will be my HVAC go to company.

The service was awesome! Samson took our call and immediately set up a same-day appointment. He explained the process and gave us options that helped us to make the best decision for our family. A technician came the following day and completed the repair. He was timely and efficient. Everything was handled in 24 hours. I would highly recommend their services.

Southern Goodman has serviced my home for the last few years for my AC and heating units. They have always been so kind and takes the time to explain what needs to be done. Bobby came out a few days ago to look at our AC unit and he was the best. Not only was he super friendly but took the time to explain the issue with our unit. Thanks again Bobby!

From my initial experience with Samson to quick scheduling and service with Gene these guys provided a positive customer experience. Gene provided professional service and a thorough explanation of what is needed for maintenance and repair. I anticipate the same when work is finalized and I like that Gene will be the one back to do the additional work as well.

This was a follow up to a complete AC system. This company is professional in all aspects of the business. Trust Worthy and stands by there product and we're polite and courteous. Respectful of my home and my family, could not have found a better business to do my AC installation. I would recommend Goodman to all.

Southern Goodman is incredible! Super professional and so nice! Bobby was a great tech and was very professional and really nice! Do yourself a a favor and hire this company, you won't be disappointed. They came out for a follow-up to the installation and I continue to appreciate the professionalism and excellent customer service, they found a few things that could have been better (which for me would have been completely overlooked) and they are taking the time to make it right. I can not say enough about how wonderful the customer service is! Please consider using them, you won't be disappointed!

I wish I had seen the yelp reviews before calling here. I can't agree more with all the other people who have posted. I called because a breaker was flipping they charged 99 to come out which I don't like then they replaced a part. I get that you need to have some margins to your work but they charged 220 dollars for a what I just found was a 15 dollar part.
I mean I couldn't be more pissed off right now. I will NEVER NEVER call this place again. I hope screwing me for 200 bucks was worth a life time of business. I will say the technician was friendly.

Stay away from this company. I was a loyal customer with them for more than 10 years and always happy with their service but something changed. They just recently tried to overcharge me about $2000.00 yes TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS on an A/C repair. I tried to settle it with their management but they shrugged it off. I'll post more detail soon.

PLEASE BEWARE AND SHOP AROUND IF YOU NEED WORK DONE. DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE! This business charged my dad 5 pounds of Freon (MO99A) @ $200 a pound, a hard start kit for $250 and a one time coil cleaning for $219. Almost a $1500 bill. I called 4 other businesses to get a quote, none were anywhere near this price. $400 @ the most for everything on my dads invoice.
I even called Southern Goodman to get a separate quote to see what the prices were for MO99A, they told me the first pound is $200 and each additional point is $175, which is not what they charged my dad, ($200/lb) And then a manager called me back Saying his technician forgot to give my dad that price and that his employees should have never gave me prices over the phone, so consumers can't call to get price quotes?
Ill never recommend this place to anyone. Businesses will charge what they want, I get it, but I promise, I've told everyone about what happened and they'll never get business in my area. DO SOME HOMEWORK AND SHOP AROUND!

They charged $99 to diagnose the unit. The guy recommends new unit. We say we can't afford it at the time. He says there is a leak of the refrigerant so he supposedly added more. The charge is $244. It's going to reach 100 degree temps this week! I keep 4 small kids! The house got hotter after the guy left! I call them the next day! They read his report, which I did not get a copy of, saying we refused repairs! Lies!
Now they want to charge another $99 plus the cost of additional repairs for him to come back and do what he should have done the first time! This company is all about the $$$!

I purchased a brand new unit back in February and has since had to call for services a few times. Once there was already a leak after only 4 months. I had to ask over 4 times to get my paperwork for the installation. Finally after being relentless I received them via email. Most recently my unit has been struggling to keep up with the set temperature and after a service call was told my filter needed to be changed.
Shortly after a new filter was installed but no changes. After the 3rd day I was given more BS excuses as to why my system wasn't keeping up 3 different ones in a single phone call. Finally I was just upset and expressed that I was tired of getting BS as to which the manager of this company responded that I didn't need to get ghetto with him. Unprofessional rude and just utterly disrespectful then said he would charge me a fee if he came out again and found nothing wrong. He never even entered the attic to check for any problems but said there was none.
