They are terrible at communicating. They tell you one thing (what you want to hear) and do something different. I have to chase them down to get answers and timelines. They tell us they will call us back and never do. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will never recommend them to anyone, which is sad considering they are in my small hometown and I have already had several people ask me who did our pool. My answer is always don't use them they are awful with communication.

Ramirez built my pool over two years ago and initially did a wonderful job. There were a few things that needed to be corrected once the build was completed, but they assured me it would be fixed soon. It has now TWO YEARS (I'm not kidding) and it has not been fixed. They have told me over 15 times "we will be there next week" and one time they even told me "we are going to be out there today to fix it." No one has ever showed up. Very disappointed in a company that I was so happy with originally.

This company lies every day about what or what not is happening. Excuse after excuse. I'm told someone will show by 2pm. I call at 3pm. Someone will be out this afternoon. I call at 4pm. I get another excuse and at 6 pm no one shows up. So much wasted time on my part waiting on someone to show up to finish a part of the pool, and yet, no one shows up.
According to the contract, the pool should be done 6-8 weeks from the time the submit the permit paperwork. That was in March. It is now July 21 and I'm still waiting for the pump system to be completely installed. I complained to the BBB, Yelp, and Google on line. The company only seemed to act on their mess and actual plastering of the pool two days later.coincidence? IDK Consider not using a family owned company when it comes to construction as there is too much drama.
They never hesitate to ask for their payments on time. But will never return your calls, never call when they say they will, and most definitely don't show up when they say they will. The office seems to know nothing about anything other than billing and getting the contract signed. I believe they over book themselves and anyone who has a larger priced pool takes priority.
How this company has stayed in business for 50 + years is beyond me. I feel my pool, my project, and my satisfaction is only based on when they can fit me in. Time for the law to take hold in a breach of contract suit. As I figure it, based on my hourly rate of $30 an hour, and they have wasted 120 hrs of my time, they owe me at least $3600 of wasted time.
Since I can't place a value on a wasted summer, I'm guessing a good attorney can get me lost time on vacations and other time lost. Do NOY use this company, I don't care how many so called positive reviews they might have. You would think a family owned and operated business might care a bit more about customer satisfaction. The only positive is the pool design is a good looking design. That's it!

My husband took off work to meet Ramirez at our scheduled appointment with him. The agreed upon time was after 2pm. They never showed up nor did anyone call us. I called and talked to Chris and Julie in their office who assured us they were coming. As requested We even sent pictures of our pool and equipment to the office. I called the after hours number and spoke to Virginia who was very apologetic and assured me that someone would contact us the next day. NO ONE CALLED. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We will not be using them and do not recommend Ramirez Pools. Oh and we were willing to pay the $200 fee they charge for their estimates.

Mr. Ramirez has been responsive to our situation of being new pool owners and trying to learn our way around maintaining a pool. We have a service call set up to clean the equipment the company installed and ensure everything is working properly. Ramirez Pools built our pool and came highly recommended from the previous owners. Service: General repairs & maintenance

VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. We waited for 3 months for a proper appointment and repair bid from this company. Today, on my husband's birthday, he was hung up on by these people when they were overdue for our appointment. They had both of our numbers on record and neither phone rang as we waited for almost an hour and a half. If this is the way that they treat customers who have been VERY patient, we can find another company.
They came highly recommended. Extremely disappointed. Beware. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S RESPONSE -- We did not complain about the 3 months. We patiently waited because we wanted the supposed "best." If you do not want to service pools other than your own, then you should post that. We had no choice but to seek someone OTHER than our pool's builder because the pool we inherited was built by a defunct company.
I'm not sure why you did not take a moment to CALL one of our two numbers on record when you had difficulty. We would have gladly come to the gate and let you in. No other service personnel have had ANY trouble using our gate keypad. As for "not hearing anyone on the line", my husband repeatedly said, "Mr. Ramirez, hello Mr. Ramirez." You didn't hear because YOU hung up.
You did not care. You were upset with our neighbors for not letting a stranger in our gated community which was NOT our fault. I hope that you are not as disrespectful to other clients in the future. I wish you well.

Ramirez Pools installed our pool over 21 years ago and did a quality job. Called them over the years for service and was always on time and the entire team was extremely courteous. I am a real estate Broker and anytime we see a house advertised with a Ramirez Pool you know it is a quality pool. I've recommended Ramirez Pools many times over the years and will continue to do so.
I had a pool installed at my last home by another pool company and was disaster from day one. For the past 21 plus years my pool has been very low maintenance and a joy for the grandkids during the summer.

I had my pool built by Ramirez Pools and I absolutely love it! There staff has been and continue to be completely amazing! They make sure that all of your wants and needs are not only met but satisfied from beginning to the end of the process! The dedication to their customers is amazing and it makes it easy for me to highly recommend them to anyone who wants an enjoyable experience when having their pool built.
They continue to assist me months after the completion of building my pool when asking them for assistance, particularly with the adding of chemicals to my pool. There response time is amazing! Thanks Ramirez Pools!

Ramirez Pools built my Mom and Dad's pool and i can tell you, they did an amazing job! Ramirez Pools has been in business since 1967 and their experience and quality of work shines through! Ramirez Swimming Pools is the only company to go to in Central Texas for quality made in-ground pools. Also, if they build your pool, you have customer service FOR LIFE! Well worth your time and money!

We had a pool put in by Ramirez Swimming Pools in September. The communication was awful. They ran over my sprinkle system, breaking off the sprinkler head, and did not fix it. I still have ruts in my yard which I was told they would fix when they were done. They did not stick to the schedule they gave us and did not communicate that it was changing until they wanted money.
To make matters worse, they installed freeze protection on the pool. This winter it got into the teens and stayed there for several days. I called and asked about the freeze protection and was told it would be okay. It was not a pipe froze and broke. They came and fixed it. Now they want $185 for something that in my opinion should be covered under warranty.
The freezing shattered about 20% of the cooping around the pool. They at least fixed the damage, but I am disappointed that it happened. I hate to see what the future holds for this pool with so many problems and it is barely 6 months old. If choose to go with Ramirez Pools get everything in writing and be prepared to call them everyday for updates, because they will not communicate it to you as they should. You might also want to record your conversations, just in case.
