They charged over $680 for a 20 minute service. They diagnosed a water heater as having nothing wrong, all the did was put another sticker on the wall next to water heater. I got the charge reduced by $60 as I a courtesy. I was warned by previous owner they where expensive and they said " but we always use them " that is why the sticker was on heater, this company loves to put up stickers.

I am truly impressed by Bishop Plumbing! After having 2 other companies not show, I found Bishop. I was impressed by the professionalism from the start. Scheduling the appointment was very easy, they were able to work around my schedule. I received a phone call when they were on their way. The plumber showed up, in a nice uniform, covered his shoes and wore a mask.
He also cleaned up when he was done. He went over everything with me, and was very knowledgeable. He completed the work, under the estimated time. I will defiantly be using Bishop Plumbing in the future as I found them very responsive & trustworthy!

I called them to have someone come out when my water heater was not working last week. The unit was flashing an error code that indicated that there was a fault with the gas valve. When the technician arrived, he said that it would cost $300 just to diagnose the problem on top of the $79 service call fee. I was surprised at the cost but the technician stated that the manufacturer would require that this diagnostic was done in order for the replacement parts to be covered under warranty.
After the technician performed his "diagnostic" he stated that he was confident that the problem was in fact the flammable vapor sensor rather than the gas valve, even though the error code for the flammable vapor sensor is different that what the unit was flashing. This is when he dropped the real shocker that it would cost about $500 in labor to replace this sensor which is easily accessible and only involves plugging in two wires. Oh, and by the way, the part itself wouldn't be covered under warranty and would cost about $30.
At this point, I cut my losses and said that I would replace it myself, foolishly trusting that the "professional" had correctly diagnosed the issue. Well, after replacing this part the heater still wasn't working. I then called Hot Water 911, the real heroes of the story, who came out, properly diagnosed the issue - which was, surprise! the gas valve - and performed the repair for a total of $214 in labor.
And yes, the faulty part was covered under the manufacturer's warranty. In summary, I will never use this company again and if you have a problem with your water heater, call Hot Water 911 instead.

I had a late night issue with a backed up sink that was taking on water and I had to have Bishop Plumbing come and fix it before I headed out of town for the weekend. It was close to midnight when Bryan arrived but you would think it was 3pm on a Saturday. He was alert, professional and very knowledgeable. He was helpful with not only fixing the issue but also giving me some pointers and guidelines for how I can save myself future headaches. The only downside was that it was a little expensive, but with me being out of town for the next few days, having that peace of mind that it was done right was worth it.

I had heard of Bishop Plumbing's stellar reputation and was not disappointed when I needed a plumber quickly to repair several clogged drains. Our plumber Jeff arrived on time and explained the key issues confronting us and how best to address them. He took his time to solve the issues and gave me advice on to be proactive in preventing them in the future. I was very satisfied with his work ethic and the actual work accomplished, and would highly recommend him for plumbing services.

Bought a new home in October that we knew needed some plumbing work. We've had service done 3 times so far with Bishop and each time has been a great experience. They give detailed quotes, walk you through what they are going to need to do, and then give you a very thorough overview of the work completed. Jeff and Luke were both amazing. Highly recommend!

I have been a Bishop Plumbing customer for more years than I can count. After a while of not needing plumbing service, I made an appointment and was SO HAPPY I stuck with my tried and true. Luke came out on time, assessed what was needed, gave me a quote, and completed the job thoroughly and professionally. We were having issues with sewer backup and Joe was "johnny on the spot" He came over, assessed and we determined we would benefit from a flushmate toilet. He installed it and it works great. Overall good experience. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I had a differant company come out the day before and he looked at my issue for about 30 seconds and said "I'm not touching that, that is a nightmare repair" and left. I called bishop, the office staff was very friendly and got me scheduled right away. The plumber, Luke, came, looked at my problem and said he could fix it right now, no problem. He was professional and efficient. It took him just over an hour to do the job that the other company refused. I will contact Bishop first next time I need something.
